Unwanted Blank line appearing in the output

Hi all,
we are trying to print the line items of a Order.
There is no issue in first page. But in second page, after prinitng the first record...a blank line is coming followed by the second record.
Now, we need to remove this blank line.
There is a check box at the end of each record and the field which is prior to this check box has got offset. Tried to remove this offset and check...but it didn't work.
As the first page output is perfectly fine and the issue is with the second page ( output has got 2 pages in total ), I believe
something has to do with the page break setting.
Any inputs on this would be of great help.

Could be caused by many reasons.
Is the paragraph format set to skip a line the first time it is printed (SPACE AFTER setting)?
Is the data causing it to overflow across the line?
Is there a line feed in the actual SAPscript (like a "/" paragraph format)?

For some reason after using the visual editor and then switching to the java view, I notice that there are extra blank lines inserted between lines in the file. The extra lines can accumulate making the file very large and unusable. This has only started happening after installing the latest hot fix. Is there a fix for this?

Hi mitsu,
We did send out some updates via UpdateCenter just two days back. One of the fixes in there would fix the extra empty lines issue.
Please get this update downloaded and installed on your Creator Installation.
It should fix your issue.

Max no of lines appear in the back ground job out put

Dear All,
Please help me to solve following query,
I am execution ME2N report in background. There are more then 100000 line item in the out put. However only 5000 line appear in the output of background job.
Is there any setting in sap, where i can change the max no of out put is more then 100000 in back ground job?

Click on the settings button and choose the 'The last' radio button for dispaly area and put in 10 pages.
Sometimes just clicking on the Last page button on the Tool bar will do the trick

Spool output conatins unwanted blank line

Hi all,
I've just written a new program that outputs a report to the spool when run in batch mode. The report looks great aside from an unwanted blank line that appears in the middle of the report when I view the spool...if I run the program from the command line and set the sy-batch variable to write the spool contents to the screen I see no blank line. how do I get rid of the blank line? Thanks in advacne for any assitance provided.

Hi Mat,
The blank line you see on the spool (as distinct from the screen) is probably a page break. The spool will always apply a page format and split the list according to the length of the page.
I guess you can get round this by creating a page format with the maximum number of lines (99999 lines).

Blank lines inserted at the end of the flat file generated

my scenario is idoc to flat file. for each item node in the idoc, one flat file has to be generated. i have used FCC with variable substitution method.
structure is something like this
<TOItem>
<field1>
<field2>
</TOItem>
<FieldNode>
< Filename>
the filename value is used to generate the file name in variable substitution. this field should not appear in the output file. so we have used
Filenode.fieldFixedLengths = 0 and FileNode.fixedLengthTooShortHandling=Cut
with this 2 blank lines are being inserted in the output file.
these lines should not appear in the output file. can anyone guide me how to achive.

Do not add this as a separate node. Keep it inside the field strucuture at the end and mentione the length of the field 0. Your problem will be solved.

Unwanted blank pages appearing in 7.0.5 (but working in 9)

I'm trying to create a form which has a front page and three optional additional sections that appear when the respective buttons are clicked. I need the form to work in Reader 7.0.5
I've got it working just fine in LiveCycle 8.2 and Acrobat 9, but when it is opened in Reader 7.0.5 three blank pages appear after the front page, and as the optional sections are opened, they replace/fill-up these blank pages.
Any help would be most gratefully received!
Details:
The form is targeted to 7.0.5 and saved as a dynamic XML form.
I am not seeing any warnings, but when switching to Preview PDF, I do see the following under the log:
"Invalid version: the current version of the XFA template model exceeds the capability of Acrobat/Adobe Reader 7.0.5"
The buttons to reveal the page have the following formcalc scripts:
Form.Top.OnePager.FrontPage.MoreInfoButton.Hide::click - (FormCalc, client)
MoreInformation.presence = "hidden"
Hide.presence = "hidden"
Show.presence = "visible"

A line appeared in the backdrop, how to get rid of it? (and how did it get there?)

the site was published and everything looked great, except we had to make several changes to the content and somehow along the way a line appeared on the master page (hence appearing on all pages). i can't figure out how to get rid of it, and it's driving me nuts. any advice would be much appreciated.

In case it is about the shadow, please go to Master page, click on some blank area and check in the toolbar at the top if there is some effect applied to page : http://trainingwebcom.worldsecuresystems.com/SachinFTP/2013-12-05_1417.png
It can be Shadow, Bevel or Glow effect applied. You can uncheck it and it should be good.

Column not appearing in the output

Hello All,
I need to make changes to the existing workbook. "Line amount" (Detail)cloumn needs to be manipulated
Line amiountwas selected in the list. But in the output i am not able to see that line amount in the output.
But if select line amount (sum) i am able to see. Line amount(detail) i am not able to see.
Please let me know the reason for this.

That seems strange to me. Perhaps some kind of security thing. Though you would think if you can see the SUM aggreagate, you should be able to see the DETAIL. Can you even see the DETAIL to pick it from the item list (open the item to see its available choices)? Maybe you are not opening the item to see the aggregate choices and just picking the item, and it is giving you the default choice, which would be SUM most likely? If you can see the DETAIL choice and you pick it, but you don't see it in the query results, I would contact Oracle Support. I would say in such a situation that you must have run across a programming error.

data: lf TYPE C VALUE cl_abap_char_utilities=>CR_LF.
move lf to wa_lines.
append wa_lines to li_lines.

Satellite M65-S9063 - Vertical white lines appearing down the screen!

Hi all - any ideas...
Model M65-S9063 Approximately 3 weeks ago a vertical white line appeared down the screen, it's around a mil thick.
Then yesterday a second one has appeared, slightly thinner this time. They're always there even after a reboot! It doesn't look as though any video is being displayed as they're always white. I was wondering graphics card perhaps? Or maybe the LCD itself?
Anyone seen this before??

Hi!
You can simply determine the reason of this issue. Connect an external monitor the notebook and see what happens.
If you can notice the same error on the external screen, its a problem of the graphic card or display driver. If you dont have this issue on the external screen, you should go to an authorized service provider for exchanging the internal screen.
If you use a non Toshiba display driver you should remove it and test it with original Toshiba drivers.

My Firefox interface is messed up. When I hover over or click a button it becomes all pixlated, the blocks move around, and lines appear around the buttons.

When I hover over or click a button on the tool bar it becomes messed up. Blocks, or more like pixels, appear over the buttons. They are white and they move around. Little black lines appear around the buttons too. I tried uninstalling and re-downloading Firefox, a full reset, etc. Nothing has worked so far. Where are you importing from – a camera or computer? If you are optimizing at import, make sure the background processes are completed. (Command-9)

Created path and used trim but the line appears from the wrong side?

Hey,
I've created a rectangle by using the pen tool, then applied a stroke to it. I've then added "trim paths" and the end value at 0seconds is 0% and then at 5 seconds its at 100% however the line appears from the wrong side of the screen, basically it's reversed, yet the reverse path symbol is not ticked.
The line is meant to appear from left to right of the screen with a 2px stroke, which will then have a mask applied to show a large black box appear from this line and fill the rest of the screen up.
Anyone able to help me at all?

If you animated the start then animate the end. Simple as that.

On AMD A10-7850K some randome lines appearing on the section of tabs.

On AMD A10-7850K + Win7 64bit, some randome lines appearing on the section of tabs. (Looks like a graphical bug)
Reinstall, new driver... still randomly happened.
HW accelaration is now set to off and it looks okay now.

Szóval... Ha kikapcsolom a HW-es gyorsítást, akkor a probléma megszűnik. Nincs gond a memóriával, nincs gond az APU-val sem. Minden szépen fut rajta, egyedül a böngészőben jelennek meg néha random vonalkák a fölső sorban, ahol a tabok vannak.
Most per pillanat ki van kapcsolva a HW-es gyorsítás a böngészőben és nincs grafikai hiba. Ha bekapcsolom, majd újraindítom a böngészőt, akkor a hiba azonnal előjön.
