Unzip pdf file in receiver CC in xi

Hi experts,
I am following the Blog:/people/stefan.grube/blog/2007/02/20/working-with-the-payloadzipbean-module-of-the-xi-adapter-framework
My requirement is to zip the pdf file  in sender CC and unzip the same in receiver CC.
what is the AF_module i need to choose for unzipping.
in the above blog since the sender is .xml, receiver .txt...
AF_Modules/strictXML2PlainBean and I used AF_Modules/strictPDF2PlainBean.
the pdf is geneated but when i try to open,it says  the is damaged or not supported file.
Also in RWB the following error is displayed:
Message processing failed. Cause: com.sap.engine.services.ejb.exceptions.BaseTransactionRolledbackLocalException: Exception thrown in method process. The transaction is marked for rollback..
Kindly help.
Srini

Hi Srinivasa,
You can zip a file in Sender CC and unzip it in Receiver CC, because Sender CC converts the data in a file into XML and does not ZIP it. And Receiver CC converts the xml data into any specific format.
What you can do is opposite, Unzip it in Sender CC and Zip it in Receiver CC.
Thanks,
Varun

    Hi Memalyn
Essentially, the bare issue is that you have a 500GB hard drive with only 10GB free. That is not sufficient to run the system properly. The two options you have are to move/remove files to another location, or to install a larger hard drive (eg 2TB). Drive space has nothing to do with SMC firmware, and usually large media files are to blame.
My first recommendation is this: download and run the free OmniDiskSweeper. This will identify the exact size of all your folders - you can drill down into the subfolders and figure out where your largest culprits are. For example, you might find that your Pictures folder contains both an iPhoto Library and copies that you've brought in from a camera but are outside the iPhoto Library structure. Or perhaps you have a lot of purchased video content in iTunes.
If you find files that you KNOW you do not need, you can delete them. Don't delete them just because you have a backup, since if the backup fails, you will lose all your copies.
Don't worry about "cleaners" for now - they don't save much space and can actually cause problems. Deal with the large file situation first and see how you get on.
Let us know what you find out, and if you manage to get your space back.

  • Just installed Acrobat 9 and it won't open .pdf files I receive in emails

Just installed the newest version of Adobe CS4 Design Premium, and have a problem with Acrobat 9 Pro. Using Windows 7 Home Premium OS.  My problem is that with the last 4 emails I've received which have attached PDF files, I'm unable to open those files (using Eudora 7.1 email client).  Acrobat gives the the error message:  "There was an error opening this document.  The file cannot be found."  When I forward these emails to my other computer which is running Acrobat 7 Standard, the attachments open fine.  To further the puzzle, I tried to open older emails which have PDF attachments (which I opened a while ago) and they open fine in Acrobat 9.  Any ideas?  Thanks for any help.

Thanks for the suggestion.  I found that I can right-click on the attachment and "save attachment as..." to the desktop, and then it will open from there with no problem.  Good work-around so that at least I have access to important attachments.  But, it should open when I click on it inside the email, like it has with Acrobat 7 ever since I've owned it.  Must have something to do with the interaction between AA9 and Eudora (a legendary but OLD email client). The attachments do, in fact, appear to be PDF files, so I can rule that one out.

  • How I unzip pdf files?

What version of Adobe Do i need to unzip a PDF file?

A PDF file is not a ZIP file. A ZIP file is an archive that may contain one or more files of any type.
If you need to extract a PDF file from a ZIP file archive, you can use either a third party application (such as WinZip) or simply double click on the .ZIP file inside Windows Explorer to access same.

  • Unzip PDF File

Can't unzip a PDF file attached to an email msg.  Window 7, Explorer, 64-bit.  Function worked earlier.

Pat, I followed your advice to download the 7-Zip program, which permitted me to extract a zipped PDF attachment to an email msg. I earlier was convinced my problem was Adobe s/w and spent too much time uninstalling and troubleshooting, not thinking my problem was my installed zip program.  My thanks, Ed

  • Inability to print or save and open certain PDF files

I am using Adobe Reader XI with Mac OS 10.9.4 and Safari 7.0.6.  If I obtain a PDF file online  --  for example, an IRS confirmation letter when I obtain a taxpayer ID for a client - if I attempt to print it, it is blank.  If I save it on my desktop as a PDF and attempt to open it, I get an error message that it is not a supported file type or the file is damaged.  However, I have no problem with PDF files I receive as email attachments, access via dropbox or similar vehicles, or save myself (for example, when printing a Word document, electing to save as a PDF).
This is a major problem for me - but Adobe doesn't offer phone support (even on a paying basis, such as Apple provides).  Some weeks ago I was able to initiate a chat about it and told to reinstall, which I did with no change.  Now I can't even find out how to initiate a chat because the only trouble-shooting support option is forums.

    HELP!
    Thanks.

Hi, and thank you for your response.
Here is what you could try.
    1.     Go to IRS.gov.
    2.     Click on "current forms and publications."
    3.     Enter "SS-4."
    4.     That should lead to a fill-in form that states at the top that you can save the information.
    5.     Fill a bit of arbitrary information in.
    6.     Try to print.  At that point, I can print, but the pages are blank.
    7.     Whether or not you succeed, save as a a PDF on your desktop.
    8.     Try to open.  At that point, I get the error message I described.
I forgot to mention in my post, I think, that I was able to do the things I described that I need to do (and have in the past always been able to do on my computer) on my wife's computer, which is an Apple that has not been upgraded to Reader XI, Maverick, or Sarari 7.0.6.
As an aside, with the upgrade to Maverick, I've had extensive and ongoing problems with Apple's mail program, to the extent that I'm now assigned a "personal" senior technical analyst with his personal email and phone number.  I feel honored, but I'd rather have a working system.  As an attorney, my product is blocks of time during which I apply 40+ years of experience - but the result of all of this is that I am spending untold hours of unbillable time because of the (perhaps not unreasonable) problem software designers have of anticipating and resolving the literally of millions of interface problems their programs can have.
I have a question.  I know that with Apple, when one is out of warranty and AppleCare, you can pay a nominal amount for telephone support for a given issue.  I cannot find anything like that with Adobe.   Is there something?  My on-line chat experiences with Adobe attempting to resolve the problems I am encountering were a complete waste of time.
    Thank you for your help.

  • When I click on a PDF file I can't open it.

When I attempt to open a PDF file I receive a message "Adobe Acrobat/Reader can not be used to view PDF files in a web browser." I have Adobe Reader 9+ installed that presumably opens PDF files. Is there a way to work around this problem or must I purchase Adobe Acrobat? I noticed your assumptions about my computer. I do use Windows 7 and I assume I have the latest Mozilla Firefox version, but I don't know about any of the other assumptions.

    Hi GlennOster
try to update Adobe PDF plugin to latest (10.1.4.38) and check it again
also you can try to [http://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-issues-with-plugins-fix-problems#w_re-initializing-the-plugins-database Re-initializing the plugins database] to see if this solve the problem
    thank you

  • After up grading to Adobe Reader XI why can't I open any PDF files?

I am running windows vista and had been using Adobe Reader 8 - when I upgraded,  can not open any PDF files. When I attempt to open a PDF file, I receive the following messages:
    Update available
Please take a few seconds to update Adobe AIR and get the very latest features. Acrobat.com cannot continue until you update Adobe AIR.
after attemptng to down load the "update" I receive the following message.
    Sorry, an error has occurred
This application requires an update to Adobe AIR but downloading that update was not successful.
I have uninttalled all of my Adobe freeware & reinstalled statring with "adobe AIR" then "adobe Reader" and then attempted to opne a PDF file only to see the same  message

    Thank you Pat,
I have already been there done that. I first  Un-installed all of my adobe freeware (reader, flash player, air. etc) then started reinstalling. First I reinstalled reader (latest version Reader X), same error messages. added AIR (latest version not listed - Last updated April 1st, 2012 -
maybe that should tell me something), same error messages. I un-installed these two and reinstalled AdobeFlash Player,Adobe Shockwave Player,&Adobe Media Player, verifying that each worked after each reinstall of the next program everything was OK until I put Reader back on (NOTE: I dug all the way back to version 8 & still had the problem). for some unknown reason I finally right clicked on a PDF file on my desk top & was greeted with a the drop menu & he option of "open with" for fun I clicked on the "open with" & found that I had two options the first was a white Icon with the Stylized A and labeled Acrobat.com the second was the normal red Icon we all know & live
when I reset the default to the normal red Icon everything began to work just as I have always had adobe reader work. Now I have no clue how or when I picked up the "Acrobat.com" program even worse it does not show up under programs on the control panel. When I have a few moments this evening, I will run a search for "Acrobat.com" & hopefully be able to remove it from my computer.
Bottom line I don't know how I got the program which seems to have caused the breakdown of adobe reader but by resetting the default program to open PDF files it is now working as it should
    Thanks for the suggestion.

    Richard L. Cornick

  • Since upgrading my Mac OS X from 10.6.8 to 10.8 and 10.9, I cannot open newly downloaded pdf files.  Please help!  Thanks.

    Hi,
Since upgrading my Mac OS X from 10.6.8 to firstly, 10.8 and then, 10.9, I have not been able to open new pdf files on either Preview or Acrobat Reader.
I can still open previously downloaded pdf files but not new ones.
I can still open new pdf files online.  However, when I save a pdf to my computer, I cannot open them anymore.
I upgraded to 10.8 a couple of weeks ago and then accepted a free upgrade to Maverick (10.9) this morning.  I was hoping that by upgrading to Maverick, I would be able to open pdf files again but alas, that is not the case.
I really need to open pdf files as a matter of urgency as I do this on a daily basis.  I am not a computer whizz so if anyone can help find a simple yet effective solution to my problem, that would be much appreciated.
    Thanks!

When I try to open a downloaded pdf file, I receive this message:
"It may be damaged or use a file format that Preview doesn’t recognize."
Yet, when I try to open pdf files downloaded whilst still using Mac OS X 10.6.8, they open as normal.  So what is the problem, please?
I have deleted Adobe Reader and re-installed it.  Yet, it follows the same pattern as above.  The same is true of Preview.  It's really frustrating because it means I can only open new pdf files using Safari (so I have to be online to do this).  I need to be able to open pdf files when I'm offline as well.
    Thanks.

  • I can't open any PDF files?

I can't open PDF files anymore what happened?

Not sure, but I read some of these posts and may not be exctly what I am experiencing.
I using a mac with all the lastest updates.
I have version 11.0.03 of Adobe Reader
When I use Safari to view a .PDF file, I can view it with no problems.
The problem comes after I SAVE that file.  So when I'm viewing a site such as http://www.lightroomqueen.com/downloads/shortcuts/lightroom_shortcuts_40_mac.pdf and then in Safari I go... FILE>SAVE AS...and select that default file name with it's .pdf extension it does save to that detination.  But...when I try to open that .pdf file I receive this messege:
"There was an error opening this document. The root object is missing or invalid."
How do I correct this issue please?
