Solved!
Go to Solution. We only have the latest version available for download and evaluation from here
I would suggest contacting your local sales representative and they can ship you a CD of the 2010 evaluation version via www.ni.com/ask

Upconvert vxistubs and _vxitls to labview 2010
Hi,
Coud you please upconvert the ni vxi utilities in the libraries of the attached files to labview 2010? I tried to use these and labview stated they were too old for my labview to convert
Thank you very much for your help

_vxitls.zip 177 KBI hate to tell you this, but that library is obsolete. There's no actual code in the subVIs that actually interface to the hardware. All of the VIs just have the terminals of the controls/indicators on the block diagram, and that's it. That library is obsolete. Check the Drivers section of the NI site (click Support) in the menu bar to find the updated drivers.

CUE/CME - transfer of VM locks up phone until the call is manually cleared
Have a 2821 with IOS 12.3(14)T2 and NM-CUE 2.1(1)
When a user accidentally transfers their VM wrong their phone gets a state where it can't place/receive calls (no dialtone, etc) until the call is cleared on router manually by an admin.
What the user is doing sometimes (by accident) is they check their VM and instead of choosing option 5 to fwd the VM, they are hitting transfer on their phone the extension they have to do a direct transfer to VM. When they do this is when the phone gets in this state.
It is stuck in the below state.
CME# show voice call summ | inc 50/0/5
50/0/50 .1 None - S_CONNECT EFXS_WAIT_RELEASE_REQ
50/0/51 .1 - - - EFXS_ONHOOK
Until the call is cleared manually (clear call voice causecode 1 id 1E5B)

Vsftpd and large downloads - cache problem
Today I have raised vsftpd to transfer a lot of files (~30 GB) to my friend's machine. At start all was ok - full download speed was 2 MB/s, and iotop showed these MB's read from FS. When about 4 GB where downloaded from me, strange things happened. Despite config file (max_clients and max_per_ip were 10, friend was using 10 simulateonous connections in filezilla), many following messages appeared in log (xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx - friend's address):
Tue Aug 24 16:30:05 2010 [pid 2] CONNECT: Client "xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx", "Connection refused: too many sessions."
Also the speed felt dramatically - at start there was ~220 KB/s per connection, now lower than 10 KB/s. iotop shows only eventual 124 KB reads from vsftpd. Cache filled all my memory (600 MB data - it's running KDE4 plus some documents and Opera opened):
$ free -m
total used free shared buffers cached
Mem: 3862 3806 55 0 441 2766
-/+ buffers/cache: 599 3263
Swap: 2047 0 2047
Also responsiveness of system changed strangely - operations with disk are as fast as usual, but with RAM became much slower. E.g., I use pacman-cage, and now pacman -Syu works many times slower. I know that reboot would take away this problem, but it's only partial solution.
Is it the intended caching behavior? (IMO, it's rather not)
How can be I/O optimized to not to overload cache?
P.S. My vsftpd.conf:

P.P.S. Tried to find appropriate forum. If I was wrong, please move it to a better one.since your on a fast network, lower your timeout values, they are much too high, also, increase your connections to 15, but tell your friend to only download using 10 or lower connections.
are the files downloaded small (many files) or large ones. check /var/log/everything.log for related error messages, e.g, I/O, file descriptors. -
We have a WLC 2100 series controller running on our LAN, its started having alot of problems and needs rebooting every 30 mins before anyone can connect.
We've just noticed the software its running is - 4.0.217.0, to upgrade we need to incrementaly go to version 4.2.176.0 although this doesnt appear to be available for download anymore.
Can we jump straight to version 5.x??Every 30 mins the WLC would disapear of the LAN and only a reboot would bring it back.
The Tech Support - "Crash report" has this in it repeatedly....

After I use wvdial to establish a ppp link and press "CTRL+C" to make it hang up the connection, the connection reamains active.
Event doing
sudo ifconfig ppp0 down
doesn't work.
Sometimes even if I take out the modem and reinsert it the connection remains active and to my suprise even works.

Last edited by theta (2010-09-02 05:10:17)i think this has to do with the modem being initialized, it needs to be forcefully disconnected by sending an AT command, i dont know what command is used exactly, but you can google it with your modem model to get the commands.

Hi All,
We are testing the RCC features of OCS with the integration of OCS,CUPS,CCM.
From the MOC user's are able to dial the extnsions from the contact list.
the problem we are facing here is even the calls are answered which is initiated via MOC .but in the MOC status showing like :calling only".
When i checking the CUPS real time trace, there is no info message in send to OCS to from the CUPS.we couldn't some more info from the cti trace also.
Thanks,Here's the INFO message CUPS sent to OCS for the "EstablishedEvent":

Wvdial: unable to connect to GPRS ("The PPP daemon has died")
Hello,
I'm unable to setup the Internet connection... Looks like the problem is in pppd, can you help please?
pppd displays some weird symbols (these symbols are different every time I reconnect) and then dies in 30 seconds:
[user@myhost ~]$ sudo wvdial
--> WvDial: Internet dialer version 1.61
--> Cannot get information for serial port.
--> Initializing modem.

--> The PPP daemon has died: A modem hung up the phone (exit code = 16)
--> man pppd explains pppd error codes in more detail.
--> Try again and look into /var/log/messages and the wvdial and pppd man pages for more information.

pppd error code 16 is:
16 The link was terminated by the modem hanging up.
Looks like pppd have to perform something during 30 seconds after start but it doesn't perform it.
P.S. /var/log/messages:

It looks like pppd is fine, but it's trying to use a device that doesn't exist.

These errors occur on _redial_ attempt.
(I have to execute "/etc/rc.d/bluetooth restart" after every wvdial attempt but I think it's OK).
