Update capacity of a network

Hello All,
I am trying to close a netowrk using the BAPI "BAPI_NETWORK_MAINTAIN"
lwa_bapi_method_project-refnumber = '0001'.
lwa_bapi_method_project-objecttype ='NETWORKACTIVITY'.
lwa_bapi_method_project-method = 'DELETE'.
lwa_bapi_method_project-objectkey = NetworkActivity
APPEND lwa_bapi_method_project TO lt_bapi_method_project .
CLEAR lwa_bapi_method_project.
lwa_bapi_method_project-method = 'SAVE'.
APPEND lwa_bapi_method_project TO lt_bapi_method_project .
lwa_activity-network = Network.
lwa_activity-activity = ActivityNo.
APPEND lwa_activity TO lt_activity.
lwa_network-network = Network.
APPEND lwa_network TO lt_network.

This deletes the capacity from the network and also sets the network as status CLOSED. But when I check the capacity evaluation report through CM50 with the Work center and the plant it is still showing the capacity for the closed network.
Please suggest something to close the network that would also update the capacity to 0 for that network.

Security Update 2006-001 Killed network preferences

After upgrading with the 2006-001 Security Update, none of my network preferences will set up correctly anymore. DHCP doesn't seem to be doing anything, and when I tell it to use a manual address via the system preferences, it appears that it's not actually doing anything. Mac OS System Preferences will not even detect that I have an ethernet cable plugged in, though if I use ifconfig and route I can get a LITTLE bit of traffic to go out, so I know it's connected and working.
Any one have any ideas on this? Absolutely frustrating because I can no longer work until this is fixed (sitting in an internet cafe trying to figure out what the problem is). I'm running 10.3.9 on a 1.2Ghz 12" Powerbook. I don't remember my Unix days well enough to try to manually set up routes and our DNS settings, nor do I know if the appropriate tools are in Mac OS, but the Apple network preferences are clearly busted.
Is there anyway to uninstall an update?

I had the same Network & Airport issue after installing Security Update 2006-001 on my wife's iBook G3 running 10.3.9 Trying to access our Airport base station wirelessly would inevitably hang as I selected the Airport network.
I noticed that every time I shut down the computer there was a brief showing of the keychain window asking to allow keychain access...this right as the computer went down (no chance to hit the allow button).
Spent the better part of an entire afternoon trying to fix this problem. Then read all the posts here (amazing how many people have problems with this update). Tried to reset permissions - didn't work. In the end, I rebooted the Airport...went into the Airport Admin Utility with my PowerBook to fiddle around...removed our Airport network from the keychain in my wife's iBook...explored other aspects via the keychain access utility.
None of that seemed to work. I also figure I reset the permissions about half a dozen times (with subsequent reboot). None of that was working either...until after one permissions reset & reboot things came good. I got the keychain window, allowed access, and hey presto...online. So far it's been OK for over 12 hours (including after reboot).
What exactly worked? I don't know. "It's a mystery".
One thing's for sure...this update is not going on any of my other machines!
Come on Apple...surely you can do better than send us automatic updates that break our computers and sap our time!

How to update capacity util. level & Work hours in IT -8

Dear Concern,
There is a problem in updating capacity util. level & Work hours in IT -8 in the T -Code -PA30. It is still showing Capacity 0% & Work Hours -0 hr monthly. We have already updated the same as 100% & 208 hr. monthly in Info Type-7 , inspite of then, the same has not been automatically updated in Infotype 8..
Please advice how can we update Capacity Utilisation & Working hours in the Infotype 8 as we have already updated it in the Infotype 7.

You cannot show a specific timespan, e.g., 8AM to 5PM, and hide the remaining hours. However, you can highlight the working hours of the day by implementing getWorkingStartTime and getWorkingEndTime on the Resource.
You can specify the workingTimeColor attribute (optional, there is a default) on Gantt to set the working time color.

Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)
Or this - Delete the account in Mail and then set it up again. Settings->Mail, Contacts, Calendars -> Accounts Tap on the Account, then on the red button that says Remove Account.

Software Update can't check for updates because of a network problem....after firmware update

I just bought a MBP w/Lion (10.7.4) and ran software update. The first two items I updated were firmware for SMC (ver 1.5) and EFI (ver 2.7) and now my MBP says: "Software Update can't check for updates because of a network problem." However, I can connect to the Internet to surf the web just fine. This is the only update I've made. Can firmware be uninstalled? If I reverted to the image on my external drive that I did with CCC prior to the update, would that fix it?

Hi! i hope i'm able to explain what i worked out and what worked for me. I had the same message coming up "no internet connection, run network/internet diagnosis" etc etc. Internet connection was fine. What i finally did:
Open airport, check internet, internet options ; with me, IPv6 was set as this (the letters are in german order and not in a english order, sorry...):
In system prefs, network/TCP/IP IPv6 was set to "automatic":
I did change the settings in Airport back to "Link Local" and Software Update worked immediately normal whithout restarting the computer.
No idea what changed the settings; however i did run permission repairs beforehand with no connection to any problems, just as a normal kind of 'maintenance routine'.
Hope this helps others, it worked for me.

The software update app fails with following error msgs. But all network functions fine.
+A networking error has occurred: timed out (-1001). Make sure you can connect to the Internet, then try again.+

Deleted the software update plist files in $HOME/Library/Preferences, $HOME/Library/Preferences/ByHost, and HD/Library/Preferences, as per some posts. no effect. Problem persists.

The last update I managed to do without problems was +Java for Mac OS X 10.5 Update 5+ - since yesterday the update process has become much, much slower and when I try to install +Security Update 2009 005+ and +iTunes 9+, it fails, usually with the aforementioned error, but also sometimes with Error 400 or Error 600, IIRC.

Recently, when I perform a software update check on the pulldown Apple menu, I get this error:
"Software update can't check for updates because of a network problem."
The only problem is that my network works just fine. I use the internet and get emails without any problem. But I can't figure how I can fix Software Update.
The only relevant updates have been for Glims and 1Password. Oh, and note the same problem trying to access the App Store; I just get a "Can't connect to the App Store" error.
Any hints?

I have to solve all my own problems.
The problem was due to Little Snitch. Once I upgraded from 2.4.0 to 2.4.2, my system works swimmingly again.

Since I updated to Lion I keep getting this http://grab.by/cKz4 [Software can't check for an update because of a network problem window] everytime I click on Software update in finder. Also I get the same window when I try to open the App Store app.... my internet connection works fine and I previously updated with the direct stand alone downloads from the Apple site.
I downloaded the new 10.7.2 like this as well as the iphoto update.
Any ideas why this is happening?

just did a bit of a search and discovered that it was Little Snitch that was the problem.... you have to update to the latest version [or switch it off for software before using software update]

updates now work with this update

You've apparently purchased content with both Apple ID's. Sign into the device with the correct Apple ID and sync the content.

Updated bios via Live Update and now my Network card isn't detected

I have an msi Z87-GD65 Gaming Motherboard and I updated some drivers and the bios via msi Live Update 6 last night and now my computer refuses to recognize my network adapter. The adapter is a TRENDnet N600, plugs into PCIe if I'm not mistaken. Wifi if my only option with this computer, I can't use ethernet, so it's really important I get the network card working again. I have had zero issues with it until this.
The reason I was updating was to try to get my third monitor to work when plugged into the mobo, while my other two were plugged into the graphics card (which I also installed yesterday, but it's working fine). Note that it still was not working, but I had enabled the IGD Multi-Monitor from bios.
Any suggestions would be appreciated. I did try uninstalling the drivers but it still won't detect the network card. I also tried disconnecting and reconnecting the network card (and I cleaned the port for good measure).
I've only been using Windows computers for a year, so bear with me if there's stuff I don't know. Thanks in advance. I can try to get a full list of what was installed later tonight, but all of it that I can find has been uninstalled at this point.
Note: I did not flash the bios when I installed, which I have now heard is a bad idea, apparently. l:

have you tried to load last good known configuration or the last windows restore point?

Capacity Utilization by network activity for each period

Hi all,
How do i find out the capacity utilization at the network activity level. My requirement is to findout the remaining requirement/capacity of a workcenter for each period, which will be the cumulative value of the non utilized resources/hours for the previous months, based on distribution key.
The same functionality is there in CM07, but what is the exact functionality and how it can be reimplemented in a report?
