Update command error

Iam updating the below table as like below. Iam using Replace option and getting the below error. But i don't see the value which iam trying to update is not more than 100 aswell.

Canyou please give me your suggestion to avoid this error? I don't have choice to increase the column length.

The value you are setting for the FTP column is greater than what it can hold. It can hold only 128 characters.
Make a describe on the table. You will see that the column definition is of 128.
Change that with following.
ALTER TABLE PROF MODIFY (FTP VARCHAR2(1000));And now try the update.

I am accessing an Oracle server on which I have READ ONLY rights. I am trying to create a DataSet. When I do so, I get an error:
Some updating commands could not be generated automatically. The database returned the following error:
This object has been deleted.
1) Is this just because my access is readonly?
2) A different message might be preferred ("code to submit updates was not created due to limited user rights" or some such.
3) Can I use this even with the error or will I have other problems because the process did not complete correctly?

Can't remember how I solved this, but it is solved.

Potential Windows Update database error detected 0x80070490

This is the response I get when I run the Windows update troubleshooter from the Windows 8.1 Action Center. If I click next it reports the errors have been fixed. However if I run it again it reports exactly the same errors.
After searching the Internet I have found that several users have reported having this issue. As result of the aforementioned search I have tried the following:
1) Run the Fixit tool for Windows 8.1 located at:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/971058/en-us.
2) Run the System Update Readiness commands: DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Scanhealth and DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth located at:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/947821/en-us.
3) Saved contents of C:\Windows\System32\catroot2 to a temp folder and then deleted contents of C:\Windows\System32\catroot2.
4)Renamed C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution to C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution.old
5) Restarted Windows 8.1.
6) Verified that C:\Windows\System32\catroot2 and that C:Windows\SoftwareDistribution folders had been rebuilt.
7) I then ran the Windows update troubleshooter from the Window 8.1 Action Center again and got the same response as listed above. The errors still exist and are not fixed.
8) Finally, I downloaded Windows 8.1 Enterprise Evaluation and I did a completely new clean install of Windows 8.1 and without installing anything else (no updates, no software, no antivirus) the above errors appeared within minutes after connecting
to the internet. I checked using the Windows update troubleshooter several times before connecting to the Internet and each time no problems were found, but shortly after I connected the above errors are shown to exists.
Any suggestions that will help fix this issue will be of great help.

Windows and all the updates....which still doesn't resolve the problem for many! I've always been a PC guy, but I'm starting to like the MacBook Pro I picked for work related reasons with great hesitation. I've wasted more time chasing this issue
down than I all the time I've spent actually using the Mac without even a hitch!

Check sapcheck permissions It should be "drwxrwxr-x". If not, execute the command, below;
chmod 775 sapcheck
Check its owner, also. It should be "ora<sid>"
One more question is, what about the system landspace? Do you have an additional application server on your system?

When I try to check for updates, an error message appears with no details. How do I get and check the updates on my new intex cloud fx phone?

I have a new Intex Cloud Fx phone. In this, I go to 'Device in formation' and try to update the device by pressing update now, I get an error message that says 'an error occurred while checking for updates'. Also, it does not respond to the' last updated' command. When I press 'more device information' I can see’ OS version Intex_Cloud_FX_V07’. I have tried all kinds of procedures suggested on the net and elsewhere but have not succeeded in updating my phone, so far. This includes resetting the phone. I am using a Wi-fi connection. It seems that quite a few persons are facing this problem. There have been suggestions ranging from 'there is a bug' to 'there are no updates'. So, the problem persists, with no end in sight. I feel Mozilla should look at it.

Goldengate update command

I am going migration from 2003 server(10gR2) to 2008 server(11gR2) with goldengate 11.1.1.1.2
while i am trying to update a row it is not replicating on the target. At first it gave me an error but later when i tried by giving alter replicat begin now command it worked, but again when i give the update command it is not even giving me an error and replicat is not abended , no replication

I don`t think it is capturing, because when I issue insert statement I see message in the capture and also on delivery in target, but when I issue update statement I don`t see anything in the capture..

I have the following situation :
Take an eg.
There are two forms, the first form takes the fiedls such as EMP
NAME, ADDRESS AND DEPT. This record generates a Empid from the
sequence.
The second form selects the empid from the LOV, and other fields
such as Emp Salary, Commission and Bonus Rate(from the same
table) are entered. When a Button is pressed, it should update
the record with the above values where empid in the table is
equal to the empid in this forms first field.
I tried as below in when_button_pressed trigger::
UPDATE EMP SET SALARY = :EMP_BLOCK.SALARY,
COMMISSION = :EMP_BLOCK.COMMISSION etc
where
EMPID = :EMP_BLOCK.EMPID;
The above statement does not update the record in the table.
If there is any other approach for the above please suggest.

Hallo,
you can check the number of updated row with the system variable
SQL%ROWCOUNT. So if your where condition doesnt match any rows,
no rows will be updated and also no error message will be
generated. In this case SQL%ROWCOUNT contains 0 after the update
command.
other idea: make surte to commit your changes before querying
the record from another sessuion!

I am trying to update the user profile pictures with the Update-SPProfilePhotoStore -MySiteHostLocation https://sp.test.com/my/ -CreateThumbnailsForImportedPhotos $true and it is encountering this error. The my sites seem to have a document library containing

Did you try more than once? If so:
Reinstall Lion, Mountain Lion, or Mavericks without erasing drive
Boot to the Recovery HD:
Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND and R keys until the menu screen appears. Alternatively, restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears. Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
Repair
When the recovery menu appears select Disk Utility. After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list. In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive. If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported then click on the Repair Permissions button. When the process is completed, then quit DU and return to the main menu.

All my X6250s hang in ESX 3.5 U5 with SCSI "command error recovery failed"

After installing a pair of Virtualized Network Expansion Modules (X4238) in our Blade 6000 chassis, my ESX 3.5 Update 5 hosts will randomly fail with the error "scsi: device might be offline - command error recovery failed: host 5 channel 0 id 0 lun 0." This does not represent LUNS on our Sun/Qlogic FC hbas (PCIe dual 4Gig). The old Dell blades sharing the FC LUNs are not experiencing any SCSI errors whatsoever. It appears to me this is referring to the VNEM's SAS fabric, but we have no SAS drive modules in the chassis. Is the fact that it sees other hosts on this fabric causing issues? I'd like to disable the SAS fabric, but don't see a way to do this via the BIOS or VNEM ILOM. Do you think I'm barking up the wrong tree?

Yes, I had updated the blade firmware to the current provided (though I see reference to a newer version in the docs, but not at the download site). However, it seems related to interrupt sharing with the NXGE card/driver under ESX 3.5. I have an open case with Sun, and while they suspected a known issue with the aacraid driver (ESX350-201003402-BG), that had already been installed. They're now asking to create a case with VMware. In the meantime, I've tested a pair of our X6250s without the NXGE, installing the original quad port GigE NIC (Intel). Those hosts are very stable. It may not be the VNEM at all, but I'll keep you posted.

We have problem using system update on our machines.
We have many different lenovo models T4x, T6x, X4, X6, All have same problem when tying to update.
Error message says:
setup error 742
The Source folder command line option (/s) must include valid source path.
We dont use any custom settings when using system update. It download all updates from lenovo server.
Anyone know how to fix this issue?
System OS is Windows XP with latests hotfixes.

No, we make a silent installation.
I found out after a fresh installation it works.
We have some software packages with are installing a instmsiw.exe before you can install it.
It seems such packages modify the windows installer so it does not work with lenovo system updater.
We have ather probs with Adobe Reader 9 too (on machines with the sytem update prob)
I test step by step our software to identify the "bad" installer version.

RMMR1MRS-When run in background cause update failure errors looking

hi,
RMMR1MRS report when run in background cause update failure errors .
There are few below reason for the error log.
1. for the PO invoice already generated - (its right if already invoice generated. should not happen again)
2. In MIGO, entire quantity has been reversed and also invoice generated with zero value - ( its right , should not happen invoice again )
3. Particular PO line item deleted - (its right if the PO line item deleted. ERS settlement not require)
For the all above reason, the update error occurs. But the mean time the program "RMMR1MRS" should not through the update error log.
Note: The job was not terminated due to this update error and also no harm because of the error log
can you please help on this update failure why it occurs.
