Update DFKKOP in during FPCOPARA

Hi experts,
1) I am printing an Invoice thru FPCOPARA and needs to update some custome fields in DFKKOP table. can you please let me know which event or BAPI in need to call for updating the custom fields.
2) After creating the invoice - thru application form (smartform), i need to covert it into XML and send it to legacy system. Can you please tell me the steps for this too.

Hi Govind,
As mentioned, you are using SMARTFORMS, for the application form type. So, there is an output option provided for the smartform, XSF (XML for Smartforms), that would give the XML format output.
So, when you are running the FPCOPARA tcode, for the print parameter select the output type as XSF format, and for the spool that are generate you should be able to get the XSF format output.
Also, for updating the DFKKOP table during printing, you need to handle the same in the User Exit for the application form. For DFKKOP, you can use FM 'BAPI_CTRACDOCUMENT_CHANGE' to change the document as already mentioned above.

I guess yr req is demanding the knowledge of Data Unification and Synchronization whose scope is a bit outer the area of BW.( its MDM actually )
In BW we could very well fetch data out of different data sources (even across the different system) with no issues so why not u trying that. if there is any issue implementing that then please specify what kind of trouble you are interfacing...

"Update was terminated" during VF01 after the invoice is save

I am experiencing an error of "Update was terminated" during VF01 after the invoice is save. The Update terminations are displayed in transaction SM13. When I check the error is in the 'RV_MESSAGE_UPDATE' with the error text 'BF00 075: No entry found for argument PL 0 0 in table T015Z'.
I did found a related OSS note "Note 423130 - Update terminatation when create billing document". I change the output dispatch time to '3' but I still encountering the error.
Could anyone know other possible solution?

I dont think this relates to output time but it relates to converting some amount into words.
Below the SAP explanation on Table T015Z
Table T015Z is used for converting amounts into words. The Unit field is
used for specifying the power of ten of a figure in the amount to be
converted, and the Figure field is used for specifying the digit in the
amount defined by the power of ten. The Number in words field is used
for specifying the corresponding word.
You use the function module SPELL_AMOUNT to convert an amount into
words. The function module can be tested with report RF_SPELL.

First, try a system reset. It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless...
Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until you see the Apple logo. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears. You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.
If the Reset doesn't work, try a Restore. Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset. It could take well over an hour! Connect via cable to the computer that you use for sync. From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab. Follow directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup. You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod. Again, say "yes."
At the end of the basic Restore, you will be asked if you wish to sync the iPad/iPod. As before, say "yes." Note that that sync selection will disappear and the Restore will end if you do not respond within a reasonable time. If that happens, only the apps that are part of the IOS will appear on your device. Corrective action is simple - choose manual "Sync" from the bottom right of iTunes.
If you're unable to do the Restore, go into Recovery Mode per the instructions here.

With the iPhone, you can sync all iTunes content with only one computer. Trying to sync iTunes content with a second computer will result in iTunes erasing the content from the first computer.

Hi mnomi! Sorry to learn of the trouble you're running into with your new phone! Have you already switched the device via your My Verizon : http://vz.to/16lkVUY Once you have done this, and verify the sim card is inserted securely, the activation will begin. If the phone is stuck on the wheel and you cannot move forward, you may want to do an alternative reset. Please follow the below instructions:
1) Ensure the device is powered off.
2) Press and hold the Volume Down button (located on the right edge) until instructed to release in step 4.
3) Press and hold the Power button (located on the top-right edge) until the device vibrates (approximately 2 seconds) then release.
4) When the restore screen appears (exclamation mark), release the Volume Down button.
5) From the restore screen, press then release the following keys to initiate the reset process:
1. Volume Up button
2. Volume Down button
3. Power button
4. Volume Down button
*Allow several minutes for the process to complete (rotating gears appear on the display to indicate that the reset is in progress).

Partial update occassionally hangs during wget - admin-op-update

Since we upgraded our ITL and MDEX Windows servers to 2008 R2 Enterprise, once in a while our Partial updates will hang during the wget admin-op-update process. When this happens, the lock is not released and the next Partial update fails to start because of the lock. Each time, I have to release the lock, and then everything is fine until it happens again (about once a week, different times).
We are on MDEX version 6.1.3.
I don't see any errors in the logs; the partialupdate.out file shows the line:
Starting shell utility 'wget_-http-127-0-0-1-17000-admin-op-update-,
then the next line is the start of the next partial update:
Loading beanshell.imports .......
which finally ends in :

Wget does not get shipped with platform services any more.
Copy the Wget utility to platformservices/6.2.x/bin.

Update Indicator label during Run time

Hi all,
This is the situation, i have an Indicator to display Acceleration, Velocity & Displacement. I am using it a local variable in the 2 case structures.
Here is what i want to achieve:
I want to update the Indicator label for the respective Radio Button control. If the click on Acceration button, the label should be updated to Acceleration during Run time. Correspondingly for Velocity and Displacement button.
Can anyone help me how to go about this.

Generally you should not change the label of a control, because this is often how the control is referred to from elsewhere in the program and it causes confusion.
Instead there is a Caption property. If you right click the control and select Visible Items->Caption, the label is hidden and the caption is displayed instead (with the same text).
In your block diagram, right click on the chart terminal and select Create->Property Node->Caption->Text. This creates a property node for the caption property. You will need to click on it to change it to 'Write' rather than 'Read' - you can then wire whatever text string you like and it will update on the front panel.

I need to turn off the iTunes update prompt programmatically (during install)- How?

I am deploying iTunes ver 10.2.214 to Windows 7 X64 PCs. When the PCs launch iTunes they see a prompt, "A new version of iTunes is available. Would you like to download it now?"
I need to disable that prompt during the iTunes install. I have downloaded ORCA and set SCHEDULE_ASUW to zero as per the instructions on this website:

I can open the iTunes64.msi and see that the property is set correctly (set to 0) but after I install using that .MSI it still prompts for the iTunes update.
How can I turn that off???

Update was terminated during VF01 with an error during FM RV_INVOICE_POST

Dear All,
In my current assignment, while saving the invoice document the excise invoice and billing document in the background got created but not been updated in the database. i am facing the update was terminated error in the analysis it was understood that the error appeared during the FM : RV_INVOICE_POST. I had validated the number ranges, for objects J_1IEXCLOC and J_1IINTPR2, & J_1IINTNUM RV_BELEG. All the number range assignments were proper, but some how the error remains same. The CIN master data is also maintained. In the current assignment, the number ranges were not maintained in the billing document type, instead a custom table is maintained based on the combination of sales org and billing type. However the to and from range is as usually maintained in SNUM. I even referred to the sap note 407606 but it could not help.
I would appreciate your valuable time and effort while assisting me in this regards.

Hi,
Whenver you are seeing this issue, are you getting a pop up message (update terminated) after the success message. If yes then go immediately to ST22. You could see a dump. Ask your ABAPer to find the route cause for the dump. If possible post the reason for dump. I hope you could get some help on that.

This is a common issue. Temporarily disable the Anti-Virus and Firewall software on the computer.
