Update ios7 on ipad

To whom it may concern
I want to update my Ipad to ios7, it says I need 3.3 gb of free space to do so. I have deleted almost all my music, texts, photos, apps, and I only freed up 1 gb. It says I have 2 gb free. But I want to know what has used 11 gb if my remaning apps are 2 gbs? There is nothing else I can delete! If anyone has suggestions I would appreciate it.

If you connect your iPad to iTunes on your PC you will probably find a whole load of "Other". 1 to 2 Gb is fairly normal. Anything above that is kinda suspect (corrupt files maybe). Another big user of Other is e-mails - especially those with imbedded pictures. Messages are also another area to look at. Go through your e-mails and see if you can delete obvious candidates, and review your messages too.

Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.) No data/files will be erased.

You may have many apps open which can possibly cause the slowdown and possibly the loss of wifi. That indicates that it's gone into recovery mode : http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1808 - you will need to do as the image shows and connect it to your computer's iTunes, you should then be able to reset the iPad and restore/resync your content to it.

It is hardly Apple's fault that Epson can't/won't update their driver, but at least Epson suggest that you use the Gutenprint driver, which in any case is far better that what Epson offer.

Ios7 Update Problems on iPad 3 - My iPad is not going to black screen after not being touched. Also, am I crazy; I can't find timing adjustment to go to black. Finally, iPad slow to switch between some catgagories in control panel

O.K. I found 3 issues on my iPad 3 after ios update:
1. iPad does not go to black after non-use
2. iPad is slow to switch between some catagories in control panel
3. Speaking of control panel; have I lost my mind? I can't find time adjustment responsible for iPad going to black.

Outside of the contact number for that you've already used I don't know another way of direct contact. Here are some things that they may or may not of had you try that might help you. If you will go to the settings app and pick general on the right-hand side you will see accessibility. Within that you can adjust a text size make the text bowl you can also increase the contrast. You can also adjust the brightness and control panel.
As for Siri again in the settings app under general you should see Siri on the right-hand side with the switch to turn it on. If that is turned on and you're still having issues
Try a Restart.
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red "slide to power off" slider appears, and then slide the slider. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.
Resetting your settings
You can also try resetting all settings. Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings. You will have to enter all of your device settings again.... All of the settings in the settings app will have to be re-entered. You won't lose any data, but it takes time to enter all of the settings again.

HT4623 When I tried to install the ios7 update to my ipad my screen froze with a picture of an I tunes button and a cord . I was unable to shut down or force shutdown . this icon still remains on my screen. Hooked up to lap top and accessed I tunes.

when installing ios7 my ipad 2 froze with an i tunes icon and a cord. Can not force shut down. Plugged into laptop. Accessed I tunes. Tried system restore.
Still no luck. ipad is still froze on that one screen. Suggestions?

Try and force iPad into Recovery Mode:
1. Turn off iPad. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, slide to turn off.
2. Connect USB cable to computer; leave the other end alone
3. Press and hold the Home button down and connect the docking end of cable to iPad
4. Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect To iTune" screen
5. Release the Home button
6. Open iTune (make sure you have the newest version of iTune)
7. You should see "iTunes has detected an iPad in recovery mode"
8. Use iTune to restore iPad
Note: You need to be patient and repeat the above many times to recover your iPad

How to keep photos and still download ios7 on Ipad?

I use my IPad as a camera. To take photos of construction jobs I have done. I want to download the IOS7 update for my IPad, but have been told I have to remove my photos from my IPad to make room for the download. I purchased additional storage which I thought would provide the needed space, but now I am told that storage space was for ICloud, and not for the storage space needed for the program download. I need to have my photos left on this IPad for my job. Can anyone help me with this problem?

Storage space on iCloud and your iPad are two different things.
The iOS 7 update is approximatley 3GB's in size.
Tap Settings > General > About > Available.
Make sure there's at least 4GB's available space before updating to iOS 7.
Instead of removing photos to free up storage space, try deleting apps you not use often.
