Update of the field earliest/latest possible activity (AFVC-FRSP)

Hello Abaplers,
is their a solution for updating the field FRSP of the AFVC table, out of a report, without updating it directly via OpenSQL?.
Actually i use the BAPI: BAPI_NETWORK_MAINTAIN.
But it seems to be that the bapi has no entry in the corresponding
structure I_ACTIVITY for the FRSP field of the AFVC table.
I searched for different function modules for updating the field seperatly,
but with no result.
I will appreciate your help.

thanks for your answer, i know but i think it`s usally not the way which SAP recommend.
I want to avoid it because of the risks in some cases (FK-Field updates, changeable masterdata -> inconsistency, bypassing the checks of the data element etc.).
But it seems to be that there is no other way (bapi, fm etc) and the direct update is the one and only method for updating the field?

Organizational data update in the organizational tab of business activity

Hi All ,
I have created the business activity. In that organizational data is not getting populated.
The sales org and distribution channel value is getting determined from the Org. model but it is not getting saved in the organizational tab of the business activity.
Could you please help me in this regards.

Check if you have proper authorization for that transaction type in authorization object CRM_ORD_OE (you must have at least create activity and * for different organizatinal element if you want to be able to use all) and if you have organizational profile assigned to transaction type.
Probably you don't have proper authorizations for that transaction type.

In field updates of the sbRio9606

I am looking at using an sbRio board in a deployable system however I'm not sure how I could provide updates to systems in the field.
Is it possible to perform in field updates of the sbRio9606 without having the complete NI environment installed at that site?
A simple procedure via a tool or via ftp/web page for example would be great.

I'll try to tack on some details.
In short, you do not need the full NI development software suite on a PC to update Single-Board RIO units in the field.
Any PC with network access to the device can update the application image on the device. One tool I would recommend to this procedure is the NI Replication and Deployment Utility.
The RAD utility can take compiled system images and distrubute them on networked devices. Using this tool to upgrade images assumes that you have an identical device available in your development system to build, test, and capture the image from.
With proper software architecture, the Single-Board RIO can also be programmed to recognize when a new application update should be downloaded from a USB key. This article demonstrates a reference design for creating a Single-Board RIO system that can be updated in the field via USB memory device.
Finally, compiled applications can also be readily copied onto deployed sytems via the onboard FTP server or securely with WebDAV.

Chapter Pics Appear out of order on the iphone with latest update

The latest update for the iphone makes it possible to see your chapters and its corresponding pic (chapter guide) in addition to just using the forward and back buttons. Great:)
When I play my movie on the iphone, and I press the chapter button, the chapter titles display perfectly the "chapter guide" list, and when I press the chapter title button it navigates to the correct chapter. However, the pictures next to the chapter titles are not in order. For example, one of them repeats twice for no reason, or might be missing. This causes the rest of the pics to be off by 1. All the chapter markers seem to be aligned correctly in Final Cut, and I am using an apple preset setting for export the iphone in Compressor 3.
Does the iphone read the nearest Keyframe for the pic. I have tried moving the chapter markers 15 frames into the clip in Final cut and still get the same result. My chapters are only 1 min clips. Is that the issue?
Please Help, I am ready to release a new product on the web.

I am using the latest version of Final Cut.
I want to know if this a Final cut issue or an iphone issue. Do my chapter markers have to be positioned further into the middle of each clip in Final Cut to get the iphone to show the correct pic on the new chapter guide feature. This is a brand new feature of the iphone, and I am sure many others are having the same issue.

How to update a single field in Word macro

I am trying to create an AutoOpen() macro that will update the file name and path when user opens in a Word document, but I can't seem to find anything explaining how to update a single field, specifically the {FILENAME \p} field. There
are other fields in the document, so I do not want to update all the fields. Most of the links I found only explain how to update ALL fields. Can somebody please tell me how I can update only the filename and path field using an autoopen macro?

How can I avoid the writting of the field TRDAT (table usr02) when I logon?

The first days of the month we have a high number or RFC processes with a generic user wich access to system at the same time from a remote aplication. This causes a lot of performance problems because of the update of the field TRDAT in table usr02, where the systen registers the last time that the user log on.
Can we avoid the writting of the field TRDAT in table usr02 for a specific user?

I agree with Juan that this is not a very good idea. Moreover this is not just some code based changed but is related to SAP kernel.
I would rather look at other system profile paramters like:
rdisp/rfc_max_login
rdisp/rfc_min_wait_dia_wp
rdisp/rfc_max_wait_time
rdisp/rfc_use_quotas
to control the performance.

Update special price field in OSPP

Hia all,
When I change the gross price in the sales pricelist, all special prices per BP will be updated if the field Automatic update is marked and is linked to this pricelist.
However the field OSPP.Price, which should be the new special price per BP, is not updated.
SAP wrote a note, 849386, which says that this field is only updated as you use the update button in the form Special prices per BP.
But it's just a normal way to change the overall sales price per article in a price list (manually or by DTW or Excel sheet), which will then update all special prices per article per BP if the automatic update field is marked and linked to this pricelist?
We use a query which take out data from OSPP (.Price) to show the special price per BP, but it shows all old prices.
Does anybody know how I can update this field in OSPP by another way?
It's too much work to update all special prices per BP per article manually everytime a gross price change occurs.

Thanks for your help, but it doesn't solve my problem.
The note is talking about updating the special prices per BP and the rows behind.
SAP also says in note 849386 that the field will only be updated as the update button has been used but it is also be updated as the price will be imported by DTW.
We import our prices not by DTW, but by a specially made Excelsheet and it's working fine untill we noticed that the value in the field OSPP.Price is will not be updated.
If we use the DTW template special prices, all records will be imported (cardcode *1) and can be found in Hierarchies and Expansions, but can I also import/update prices (by DTW) which will be imported/updated and shown in the pricelist (above the menu hierarchies and expansions) as this price will also appear in the item master.
Is there a template for this? By the automatic update, the new prices will also then be updated in de special prices per BP.

          I have following requirements to write one of the rouine in the update rules. I have the field ZPLANSTAT. I have to write the routine to diplay the follwing the condition in the targets.
ZPLANSTAT: It is "Active" if Planning Status (AT101) = X0ZP. It is "Inactive" otherwise.
   ZPLNASTAT should be active if Planning status ( AT101) = XOZP els it should display as inactive .
       Can anybodyhelp me in wrting this code.

Why do I get general access denied trying to update my own field in Active Directory?

I am trying to update a field pertaining to my own user object in Active Directory using ADSI and C++ app. The operating system
is Windows Server 2012 Standard.
I am able to read, I am able to call Put without problems, but when I call SetInfo, it returns with "General access denied". I have
confirmed that it's my own user object I'm trying to access.
I obtain my own FQDN like this:

Then I use it like this:

The problem is that in Windows Server 2012 Domain Controller, permission to write to public (and personal,
for that matter) properties is not granted to "SELF". The field I am trying to write to belongs to public properties. The only property set a user is able to change for himself in Windows Server 2012, by default, seems to be "Private-Information",
which consists of ms-PKI-Credential-Roaming-Tokens,ms-PKI-RoamingTimeStamp, ms-PKI-DPAPIMasterKeys, ms-PKI-AccountCredentials

The amount filed in table GLPCT, company code 123, account 110000, Activity
RFBU and SD00 is increasing every year, and now the sum is close to the
limit of 9,999,999,999,999.99- .
this amount field is continue to increase, if depend on data when
performing year-end closing and balance carry-forward.
So, Each field contains 15 places, which leads to a maximum amount of
999,999,999,999,999 When the value reaches the maximum amount, an
additional update of an amount is not possible anymore.
System cannot update the Balance Carry-forward amount for 2012.

Have you communicated with SAP about a possible solution?
