The syntax is wrong.It should be: > update S_ISS_OBJ_ATTR set DEFAULT_VAL = (....)This will however set all values ( all rows) of that column to the same value. Long story short, I created a column from one table in another because the table it was moved from isn't really needed as all the other information is stored in other tables. With that the original column has values that need to be copied to the new column before the old table is dropped.
I'm using this update query:

Error: ORA-01427: single-row subquery returns more than one rowI removed the extra bi_req from the subquery and that didn't help any.
If I replace the '=' with IN (also ALL) I get the error message:

I am working in BDC for update valuation class for T-code mm01.Actually In this BDC i am using two recoding based on material type.
i am using two internal table : I_DATA and ITAB
Use I_DATA to hold excle data in which material No, plant , valuation type , valuation No. and ITAB for material No, material type Only.
So, i am fetching material Type ( MARA-MTART ) through select query. But Select query is not working. and also i did check MARA table according that Material Number then material no. exit in Mara Table.
Note : at run time I_DATA have 1 row but ITAB have 0 row ....

I get the itunes has encounterd a problem and needs to close, sorry for the inconvenience error, no specific error number. I do not have QT installed,
not having QT installed is what will be causing your itunes error message at the moment. let's try a careful standalone QT 7.1 install.
download and save a copy of the QT 7.1 standalone installer to your hard drive. (we'll run the install from there rather than online.) switch off antivirus and antispyware applications prior to the install.

if that install goes through okay, does your itunes launch properly again?
(if you get an error message on the QT standalone reinstall, let us know what it says. include error message numbers if you're getting any.)

Bex Query is not working in portal
Dear Experts,
i have uploaded BI master role into portal, By default Bex Queries are assgined to Master Role. when I clcik on preview for particular Bex Query, it's working fine. but after assigning the master role to end user, that same Bex Query is not working. it's showing Below error..

...Then you will only ever update records that have been checked. Unchecked checkboxes are not passed back in the global array. You need to have a hidden column with the ID's for the record and loop through that when you are updating/inserting. That is why the built in tabular form has a MRU and a MRD. the MRU loops through the hidden ID column. The MRD loops through the checkbox.

There are several areas in your code which needed changes.
1. On the field name for your temp table you had spaces.
2. The SAP table name ODLN, OPCH, PCH1 had to be fully referenced like
[dbo].[ODLN]
3. You really need not have ## in front of your temp table, it could just be #
The select at the end is actually what causes the most problem as for some reason from within SAP it does not produce the result. I would suggest you put the whole code into a Stored Procedure and call the SP from SAP. Corrected SQL below. If you remove the Select line at the end the query would work with in SAP, but keep it give give you an error. SP is the best option for this.

Update debugger is not working
Hi All,
My problem is "Update debugger is not working" is not working.
In VA02, I am creating a EDI output type, before saving it i am going into debug mode activating the 'Update Debugger'.
But after that a message is coming as 'Update debugging has been triggered' but debugger screen is not coming up.
Please let me if you have inputs on this.

Did you check if a COMMIT statement is getting triggered(you can do that by placing a break point in the debugger at the statement COMMIT)? Click on F5 once the control reaches COMMIT statment and wait for a new session to
get opened for debugging.
Not sure, about the debugger that you are using(classical/New), lately, I have faced issues with update debugging while using new debugger, it would be a good idea to cross-check in classical debugger.

Excel 2010 MS Query is not working
Hi, I am in the process of upgrading all my Excel 2003 spreadsheets to Excel 2010. I am running into problem with the MS Query. Spreadsheets have MS Query linking to MS database. However, when I open some of the spreadsheets, the MS Query
is not working ie. the blue circle keeps turning and then not responding. It is very weird that this MS Query is working fine with some spreadsheets but not couple and they are all linking to the same database except a small different in criteria. I
tried to re-create the Query in the spreadsheet in Excel 2010 by going to Data>From Other Sources>From Microsoft Query and select the database. Once I set up the criteria and click Return data, the Query gets stuck.
Please help! Any comments/suggestions will be appreciated.

There are many possible causes that can crash MSQuery in Excel 2010.
First, please make sure we have installed the latest Office 2010 and Windows patches.
Second, Please read the Blog, it explains one typical crash scenario.

My ipad 1 is stuck on IOS 4 as these IOS 5 update instructions do not work. When I use itunes update the software looks for an IOS 5 software update file and the apple site doesn't seem have one anywhere!

If you are currently running an iOS lower than 5.0, connect the iPad to the computer, open iTunes. Then select the iPad under the Devices heading on the left, click on the Summary tab and then click on Check for Update.
Tip - If connected to your computer, you may need to disable your firewall and anitvirus software temporarily. Then download and install the iOS update. Be sure and backup your iPad before the iOS update. After you update an iPad (except iPad 1) to iOS 6.x, the next update can be installed via wifi (i.e., not connected to your computer).

After doing last Mavericks update, Messages is not working properly
Since yesterday, after doing last Mavericks update, Messages is not working properly - the Dock icon is not bouncing nor showing any number for new messages. Very annoying, since I usually have Messages on background while working and I now i don't realize if people is chatting me unless I open the messages wondows.

Check System Preferences > Notification is set for Messages
In Messages > Preferences > General Section change the Sound option for Message Received.
Restart the app and test this sound is (still) playing.
Place app in background an iMessages "yourself" form your iPhone.
Does the sound Play ?
