Or the OP could try actually following Apple's documentation for troubleshooting and solving this very simple problem instead of uninstalling, reinstalling, installing old versions of software, etc...

These errors typically occur when security software interferes with the restore and update process. FollowTroubleshooting security software issues to resolve this issue. In rare cases, these errors may be a hardware issue. If the errors persist on another computer, the device may need service.
Also, check your hosts file to verify that it's not blocking iTunes from communicating with the update server. See iTunes: Advanced iTunes Store troubleshooting—follow steps under the heading Blocked by configuration (Mac OS X / Windows) > Rebuild network information > Mac OS X > The hosts file may also be blocking the iTunes Store. If you have software used to perform unauthorized modifications to the iOS device, uninstall this software prior to editing the hosts file to prevent that software from automatically modifying the hosts file again on restart.

Just updated to IOS 7 and two issues:
First when I connect my iPhone to my computer I get this error message:itunes was unable to provider data from sync services". I'm not sure what this really means...
The second issue is when I try to select "Manually Manage Music"
The iPhone "My iPhone" is synced with another iTunes libary on "MY-PC". Do you want to erase this iPhone and sync with this iTunes library? An iPhone can be synced with only one iTunes library at a time. Erasing and syncing replaces the contents of this iPhone with the contents of this iTunes library."
So... I don't want to do that, but I do what to be able to Manage my music. I'm not sure what it means by being synced to another iTunes unless it means to an older version of itunes?
Anyone have any ideas?I cannot address the sync services error right now, but the error that you receive when you change from sync to manually manage music is what happens when you change. Once you change to manually manage music, it erases all of the music and will only put the music that you want on the phone, content that you manually drag over to it. I am trying to update my iTunes so I can sync my new iphone 5s and it doesn't recognize the phone, apple support said I need to update my iTunes when I try and do that I get an error message that says " the ITunes update server could not be contacted. Please check your internet connection or try back later.
My internet works fine and I have tried back dozens of times with same result.Did you ever figure out the problem? "Contact Software Manufacturer"?? That sounds ominous... I've got the same issue and I'm pretty durn aggravated right about now....

My iPhone 3GS 16gb, is stuck in restore mode, downloaded and tried to do a restore multiple times. Keep getting an error The iPhone "iPhone" could not be restored. Unknown error occured (-1). Cannot get it out of restore mode, keeps rebooting!
