Upgrade Control Center

I moved audit data from existing Runtime Repository(R1) to New Control Center(R2). After that I upgraded locations to make them Valid. Then we have to run tcl script to upgrade the locations information in design repository. In that tcl code we have to set CC_Name. In comments it says Control Center name like below.
Please assign the name of the Control Center to the following TCL variable:-
set CC_NAME cc_name
Here what is cc_name? Is it control center created at Connection Explorer other than default control center? Which name we have to give? I tried to give Control Center Name which were created at Connection Explorer and Runtime Repository name etc. It was giving error that it couldn't find control center.
If anybody knows please explain here.

---snippet----
Set CC_NAME to the name of the control center object in the new design repository. For example, assume that you migrated a runtime repository called MY_DEV_RUNTIME from a previous of Warehouse Builder. Therefore, in the Tcl script, change the line
CC_NAME cc_name
to
CC_NAME MY_DEV_RUNTIME
---snippet----
snippet from
http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B31080_01/doc/install.102/b28224/upgrade_03.htm
assuming MY_DEV_RUNTIME is the owner/user/admin you login with?
If that does not help can paste the code?

  • IOS 7 upgrade control center won't show, why?

Just upgraded to IOS 7 on my Ipad 2. All the swiping from the bottom in the world does not bring up Control Center.
It showed up once just after I disconnected it from my PC because I thought this might be a way to reload IOS 7.
But it's not. Is there a way to reload IOS 7 without wiping everything out? If I've backed up on Itunes will this guarantee
I don't lose anything if there is a way to reload the IOS updrade?
Is there a way to reload the upgrade?

Go to settings/control center/make sure both options are turned on
    You can also try this
Reboot device by pressing both the home button and sleep/wake (power) buttons at the same time for 10-15 seconds until the apple logo appears on the screen, then let go.
If that doesn't work then reset the device by going to settings/general/reset/reset all settings  (or for network connection issues 'reset network settings').
(no media or data will be deleted from the device, this will only take a minute).
If that doesn't work then backup and then restore the device as new first (to isolate cause of the issue). Then from backup if necessary.
Make sure iTunes is updated to the latest version

  • Help for upgrading runtime to control center

    hi guys,
I am upgrading runtime repository (10g r1) to control center (10g r2). while moving the audit data, I get the error message "Failed to Migrage Audit Data into OWBRTR. java.qal.SQLException ORA-00001: unique constraint (OWBRTR.AMP_PK) violated".
I check the orginial runtime repository, and all these unique constraints are enabled. so I assume that there should not be any duplicates there. How does it possible to having duplicates when I doing the upgrade?
does anybody met this error before? how can I resolve it?
    thanks so so so much

  • Upgraded to ios7 on iphone4. Swipe up to bring up control center wont work. Turned optins on and off restarted phone.  No luck .  Any ideas

Upgraded iphone 4 to ios7.  Swipe up to get control center works when it feels like it, which is seldom. I have turned options on and off, restarted the phone, no go. Btw, swipe down on lock screen to see events no good as well.  Any ideas.

I had this problem also. First thing I tried was to reset your device.
Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously ignoring the red slider should one appear until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. That seemed to help.
But then I discovered that a light swipe starting just off the screen at the bottom worked well.
When I tapped and swiped on the screen I often did not get the Control Center to come up. But after practicing some with a swipe beginning just off the bottom of the screen I get the Control Center to come up every time.

  • Since upgrading to IOS 8 on 5S I have no AIRPLAY button in control center

What has caused my AIRPLAY BUTTON to vanish in the Control Center after upgrading to IOS8 on my 5S?
    Only shows AIRPLAY now!

    Hello Chipfxr,
If I understand correctly it sounds like you are not seeing your Airplay option in the Control Center, but your last sentence makes me wonder. If that is correct then use these steps from the following article to help figure out why the Airplay button is not there:
Resolve issues with AirPlay and AirPlay Mirroring from iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch
    Try these steps first
Verify that your iOS device's software is up to date.
Verify your Apple TV's software is up to date.
Verify that your iOS device has Wi-Fi turned on. Go to Settings > Wi-Fi on your iOS device and turn on Wi-Fi.
Connect all AirPlay-enabled devices to the same Wi-Fi network.
Go to Settings > General > Network on your Apple TV to see which Wi-Fi network it's connected to. On your iOS device, tap Settings > Wi-Fi and confirm it's on the same network as your Apple TV.
With peer-to-peer AirPlay, an iOS device can stream to Apple TV without first joining the same Wi-Fi network. Find out if your iOS device can use peer-to-peer AirPlay.
If the AirPlay icon doesn't appear
Ensure that you have followed the steps in using AirPlay and AirPlay Mirroring.
If you are still unable to see the AirPlay icon  , try one of these steps:
If trying to AirPlay, or AirPlay mirror, to your Apple TV, ensure that AirPlay is enabled on your Apple TV as well. You can enable or disable AirPlay on Apple TV in the AirPlay menu: Settings > AirPlay.
Check Internet or network connectivity on all affected devices. Some content requires an Internet connection to authorize content playback. AirPlay capabilities may be limited if your network is not connected to the Internet.
If attempting to use AirPlay from a third-party app or a website from your Safari app on your iOS device, confirm that the app or website is AirPlay compatible (refer to the developers of the app or website for additional information).
If that is not correct, then can you elaborate a bit more?
Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.
    Cheers,
    Sterling

  • [SOLVED] Gnome 3.6.1 Control Center Printers and Users "unlock"...

I have an Arch system running Gnome 3.6 with systemd, and without consolekit as is now the standard.
After upgrading from Gnome 3.4 to 3.6, the unlock buttons in both Users and Printers section of gnome-control-center no longer work. (In 3.4, the printers dialog could authenticate but it never actually worked properly - I heard they fixed this in 3.6. I never tried the Users panel back then)
Anyways, I sifted through the source code for the Printers dialog, and it points to the polkit 'org.opensuse.cupspkhelper.mechanism.all-edit' rule. Reading the rule file for cupspkhelper (which exists), it specified "allow_admin" is what this rule wants. Following further research, I added myself to the 'wheel' group which apparently should work. And after all of this? It still doesn't work. I imagine that there is a similar problem for the Users panel, but I haven't investigated in detail.
Any ideas to get this working? Is it broken upstream? Is it my fault?
    Thanks
[edit] I guess I should post some logs, bug running gnome-control-center in terminal doesn't actually output anything. -v adds nothing other than to say it is in debug mode.

    /usr/share/polkit-1/actions/org.opensuse.cupspkhelper.mechanism.policy

Additionally, I have a newly added suspicion that gnome just needs ConsoleKit.

I should note that this cleared up on its own after a packagekit update it seems.

  • Control center

    Hello,
we were migrating application from OWB10gR1 to OWB10R2. Imported the design repository using MDL loader. After that upgraded the Runtime Repository using Control Center upgrade Assistant. Using this moved the runtime audit data from existing Runtime Repository to new control center. After that we need to upgrade all Locations ( locations should be in Valid status) to Control Center.
Most of the Locations were upgraded to Control Center but some locations were failed. I tried through Control Center Upgrade Assistant and OMB PLUS code.
    It was giving error:
    Failed to upgrade location
    exception follows:-
    java.sql.SQLException: ORA-01017: invalid username/password; logon denied
Installed components are at version level (null which is different from version of Control Center (10.2.0.1.31)
to fix these error it gave button to Upgrade. I pressed that button. even though it was not upgrading to Control Center.
If anybody faced this situation please advise me.
    Thanks
    Santi

I have already used this assistant to migrate the repository from 9.2 to 10, but I got a lot of errors for the locations. The assistant migrate correctly only a few of them, the others I had to configure or register again in the new version of OWB. After doing it, I didn't get more errors.

  • ATI Radeon HD 4870 - Bootcamp & Catalyst Control Center

    Hey all,
I installed Bootcamp (Vista 64-bit) 5 min ago and noticed that Catalyst Control Center was not there. When installing Bootcamp on my MacBook Pro I got the Nvidia panel, why is not the CCC available on the Mac Pro?

I have posted a message "White screen of death and computer halts with ATI 4870 in Boot Camp"
I bought the 4870 and ANYTHING I do causes the system to halt and go to a white screen before even attempts to go into windows.
I have called Mac AND gone to a shop. I took the NVIDIA out of my MAc Pro and put in the 4870 and works GREAT in Mac but as soon as hold down the Option key to get the option to select Mac or Windows it halts system when push Windows before even attempts to load Windows.
I went so far as to take ALL hard disks out of system but a new one and put a Vists dvd in drive and try to install it.... Also tried Windows 7 and xp. NONE work... as soon as click the dvd the system halts. So this supposed upgrade just doesn't work.
I haven't found anyone with the same problem which is odd...
Any advice I would love it. Otherwise I need to return it.
The MAc shop said it wasn't their problem. Mac just guarantees works on MAc OS and maybe someday will support bootcamp. Really bad answer.

  • Catalyst Control center options no longer available

My desktop is an HP Envy h8-1534. It is currently connected to an HDTV.
I just attempted to load the catalyst control center to tweak my graphic settings and find that none of the normal settings are available. I'm unable to so much as change my resolution, let alone anything more advanced. I'm not exactly sure when this happend as I don't go into those settings all that often. However, if I had to guess, I would put the blame on upgrading to windows 8.1 a couple weeks ago.
I'm not sure what to do now but it is kind of infuriating! I have several game I'd like to run that only work in 16 bit color mode and I have no way of changing that now.

  • Control Center is very slow after mapping execution

    Hi,
I'm using OWB 10gR2 (10.2.0.1) on DB 10.2. When I execute different mappings and try to monitor the execution results in Control Center I'm facing a problem. The execution time of the mapping is quite normal. But after successfull execution I have to wait about one minute for the execution results (row activity). Furthermore opening and closing the job detail window takes about 1 minute to until the control center reacts.
I've worked with same OWB10gR2 on DB 9.2 in the past and everythings works fine. But my DBA upgraded oracle database and i migrated to this new repository. The location that I use is set to 10.2.
Do you know this issue? Any advices for "tuning" my repository are very desirable.
    Steffen

    Hi,
I think this is not related with database issue. And also there is nothing like tuning for this issue.
I will suggest you to upgrade your RAM and always try to work on OWB with minimum CPU load like an example if there are any other exisitng databases rather than OWB then stop the services.
Take care of all these things.
And always deploy your mappings in Control Center.

Last point...who archives? On my regular email page I now have the Archive icon to the left of my Delete icon which I would prefer was to the left, first in the line as this is the icon I use mostly. With Folders, my Sent and Trash lists, who needs to archive?
I can help you only with the placement of the icon placement -- if you right-mouse click on the toolbar, then select Customize Toolbar, you can move an icon to where you want it to be.

  • Control Center status running scheduled jobs stops when DB is shutdown

I have scheduled jobs in the Control Center of OWB, and the status is "Running" (Green Arrow ->), but everytime we stop and start the database I have to start the schedule job again under Status.
Is there any way to fix this so that when the database stops and restarts somebody does not have to go into the Control Center and restart the jobs that are scheduled?
    Thanks

I'm been told that it's a bug in the current version of OWB and to fix this problem we should upgrade to 10.2.0.3.

  • Screen Rotation from Catalyst Control Center won't stick

    Greetings,
I recently upgrade all my software on my laptop (T23, model 2668-J3U, docked in a docking station), both installing XP SP3, and installing all the upgrades through the Thinkpad System Update tool.  I have 2 external flat screen displays connected (one on digital one analog) and I use the rotation feature.  However, since upgrading, I've tried using the Catalyst Control Center to rotate my screens but cannot get it to "stick".  The option is there to rotate and i've tried mutliple combinations, but no matter what I do the screen flickers (like it's going to rotate), but then flickers back to the landscape settings.
I've checked forums on this site as well as googled on the internet but haven't been able to find anything on the subject.
Is there some other trick to get the rotation feature to stick?  You help is much appreciated as I rely on rotated screens for many reasons.
    Many Thanks,
    Fred

    Hi there!
I work in Tech support in the UK for a hospital and i have recently come across this issue on our HP5850's.
They are using the HP drivers built on catalyst 8.4, and also had SP3 installed and the screens would NOT rotate.
After much faffing around and eventually coming across this site we tried uninstalling SP3 and now the screen rotates fine.
So, whilst i do not wish to argue with Lancelspencer (last poster), removing SP3 DOES fix the issue.
    Hope this helps, good luck.

  • (OWB 10g R2) Control Center Manager won't start

    Hi,
I'm in the middle of upgrading from OWB10g Release 1 to OWB10g Release 2 on a testbox.
I have completed the steps to upgrade the runtime metadata (I did the Move, then I upgraded the locations and then I ran the tcl script in OMBPlus).
Now, I have gone to the DEFAULT_CONFIGURATION for my project and I updated the default control center for my project.
    Follow me so far?
Okay, here's the problem.... when I try to start the "Control Center Manager" from the Design Center's Tool menu.... I see nothing but a grey window with a titlebar and nothing else.
This happens regardless of whether I try to launch the Control Center Manager from a windows client or the linux server.
On the linux server I see this output after I enter the username and password to connect to the Control Center Manager:

    Hi, thanks for responding...
When I run show_service.sql it says the Control Center Service is Available. (See below).

    PL/SQL procedure successfully completed.
    SQL>

And when I do a ps command on linux I see the process running.

Do you suggest I run the service_doctor.sql even though the service looks like it is available?
    Thanks.
