Upgrade to Mobile 7.1

Hi All
I have done couple of implemetation on MI 7.0 for applications xMAM 2.5 and xMTR 2.0. From my understading of SAP Mobile 7.1, if we need to upgrade to 7.1 for the above applications,
- It is like a fresh implementation with new MAM and MTT applications for Mobile 7.1?
- Can we use the existing MAM or MTT applications for Mobile 7.1 as there is no concept of synbos in 7.1 and with DOE?
FYI, I went through this thread

and As it said by Julien that this procedure is not going use the complete perfomance of 7.1.

Hi,
SyncBo's can be migrated using TR MEREP_MIG to a text file.
Now in DOE we have similar concept as DATA-OBJECT.
in DOE you need to create a SWCV with correct backend config and use TR SDOE_MIGRATION to migrate that text file to convert the same sync-Bo's to Dataobjects. ya if you are going to use old applications than you ll have to check backward compatibility check at SWCV level.

last thing you can try would be go to settings, general, settings, reset all settings
if that does not work, a factory restore will be needed...

Upgrade to Mobility Service causes "incorrect password" messages

After upgrading to Mobility Service a couple days ago, some users
suddenly can't sync mail on some of their devices. The problem device
will constantly prompt for a password, but then say it's incorrect (when
it definitely is not). Same user will have a second device that's
ticking along without a problem.
Not restricted to users with multiple devices, though - a few who have
only one device experienced the error.
I'm unfortunately pretty user-level, but will appreciate any tips on
what to look at & how to solve.

I have verified that in my case the following process gets the
problematic device working again (I add users to Mobility server via
ldap. Only iPhones and iPads have been problems for us this time.):
Remove the user from the ldap group and poll for users on mobility server
Add user back to ldap group, re-poll for users on mobility server
Any of that user's devices that were working before will automatically
show up, authenticate, and continue working
The user's problem devices will prompt "Cannot Verify Server Identity"
User can press "Continue" at that prompt, and mail will begin working

Upgraded to Mobility 2.0, follow up Windows 8 and ASync Ver

So far so go good on the Mobility 2.0 after the upgrade. I just have two questions though;
The primary reason I did this upgrade was to obtain support for Windows 8 Phone and tablets. I still cannot get my tablet or phone to connect to the server giving the same error in the past mentioned in the forums ; either contact system administrator or please check information - for the tablet, or "We're having a problem connecting to "my servername". Error 80072EF3 - for the phone . Are there specific directions for the Windows 8 devices?
Activesysnc protocol version for all the users except two is still 2.5. One of those two I reinitialized and the other was a new user. Will this be upgraded automatically or do I need to reinitialize all users?

Yes we can. From my pc I get no certificate errors. If I am on the same network with a mobile device or tablet with Windows 8, I get a cert warning to proceed.
I tried the the solution to download the cert manually on the Windows tablet or Phone and it still does not work, however I'm not a 100% confident the mobile device installed the cert. IF I go back and do the procedure again, it acts like it is not installed on the device and proceeds to let me install it again

Upgrading for mobile me from 10.3.9

Hi there fine people. I need a bit of help. I'm a bit behind the times and need to upgrade in order to access the mobile me stuff. I'm running 10.3.9 and am really unclear what to do next. Is 10.4 free? Any help would be appreciated.

If your Mac meets the Leopard System Requirements, the Full Retail Version, of the Leopard Install DVD, can be purchased at The Apple Store (U.S.).

Where can I find the free Snow Leopard upgrade for Mobile Me customers?

I stopped by my local Apple Store yesterday and asked about purchasing Snow Leopard for my macbook. I am a mobile me subscriber and I was told that there is a free upgrade available on apple.com. I have searched, but cannot find the form to fill out to receive my disk. Anyone know where I can find the application?

Sorry, but that offer expired already. Mobile Me has shut down. You can still purchase Snow Leopard from Apple's Online Store - $29.00.

What handset do you have? It could be your carrier has not approved a new software version which is why you get the message the handset is up to date

Lost Contacts after Upgrade and Mobile Me

After installing the latest iPhone software 2.2 and setting up to do mobile me I lost all of my contacts and phone numbers. Can I do a restore and get all of my contact information back? My contacts were not already on my macbook pro as it is new and I am setting it up as well. NEED HELP!

When turning on over the air syncing for contact info and calendar events with a MobileMe account on an iPhone, there is a warning message provided that indicates all contact info and calendar events on your iPhone will be erased and replaced with your MobileMe online address book and calendar.
You need to sync the Address Book and iCal on your Mac with your MobileMe online address book and calendar first.
The same applies when turning on over the air syncing for contact info and calendar events with an Exchange account.
iTunes creates and maintains a backup for your iPhone which includes contact info. The backup is updated if needed as the first step during the sync process.
Which computer were you syncing your iPhone's contact info with before turning on over the air syncing for contact info with your MM account on your iPhone?
You should be able to sync the supported address book on that computer with your MM online address book, which will be followed by transferring your MM online address book to your iPhone's address book.

Since upgrading from mobile me i cannot see who is in my family pack

So i upgraded to icloud and did not reallise that I had another account for my wife on a family pack. The problem is that she cannot remember what her mobileme address is as I used it on her iphone to backup stuff and it was never used as an email. so now I need to know what it is but since upgrading to icloud I cannot. Any ideas how I can see what accounts I created with my family pack in my old mobileme account?

the problem is Firefox 5. I switched browsers and can get my FB messages just fine. Got to go check out Chrome.

ITS MOBILE: Button alignment after EHP7 upgradation

After EHP7 upgradation, ITS mobile buttons are not aligned. But in dialog programming it shows correctly. But in service/scanner it shows not correctly

I have looked into your issue about your HP ENVY TouchSmart 15-j001tx Notebook and the Touch display doesn't respond to touch after a Windows 10 update. If your computer is having problems finding and installing operating system updates, try using the Windows Update Troubleshooting tool to fix the problem. Here is a document that shows how to update drivers that are not working correctly with Windows 10. Here is a link to your driver page. I would try the section on Driver -Chipsets. 3G iPhone, can't sync using .Mac (also can't upgrade to iTunes 7.7)

Just got a 3G iPhone (totally new user), was activated at the store. Have a working iPhone in terms of phone & web.
However, I'm trying to get my .Mac acct (which has been automatically upgraded to Mobile me) to sync the 3G iPhone over my Powerbook G4 1.5Ghz. I follow the directions: goto System Preferences, click on .Mac (there is no icon for MobileMe), enter my .Mac username/password, click on Sync tab,
waiting..waiting
finally comes back with "There was a problem with the sync operation. .Mac login failed"
Is this an issue with server overload? (because of heightened 3G iPhone craze)
Another thing. I have a PC laptop runnings Windows Vista & tried to upgrade iTunes 7.6.x to 7.7. Failed on 2 successive attempts! (very rare, most of my Windows app installs go hitch free). Is this also a "server overload" issue, because of the heightened traffic due to iPhone craze?
However, I was able to download/install the entire iTunes 7.7.0.43 Also, on my other PC laptop I was able to successfully load/install an entire iTunes 7.7. This seems to imply some problem with Apple servers doing updates.

ICal won't sync to mobile me, iPhone, or iPad. On my iMac I went to preferences, mobile me, set it to sync, and even did a sync-now. It syncd everything else, contacts etc, but not iCal. Went to calendar preferences and it won't let me sync at the bott

Went to calendar preferences and it won't let me sync cuz it says: Your mobileme suscr info is not correct or you did not turn on sync in mobile me prefs - well, my mobile me subscription must be ok, I'm in and out of it easily enough, checked the acct fields, and my other stuff is working fine. I did go to mobile me prefs and it is all set to sync, calendar is checked, it says the last sync was 15 min ago. Ak! What is up? I did just upgrade the mobile me calendar. Is that my problem?

Graphic card upgrade on mobile PCs is not supported. You can do on desktops but not on notebooks.
Notebooks have specific construction and design, well adjusted cooling system and are also supported by tested and right display drivers.
With new and more powerful graphic card you can have overrating problem and hardware can be damaged.
In my opinion GPU upgrade is not a good idea.
