Upgrading to 11.1.1.2, registry.xml not found and oracle_common not found

We are running OFM 11.1.1.1, with the OID component only (and no weblogic domain). We're trying to upgrade to 11.1.1.2, and when running the ant master-patch-schema command, we're getting the following errors:
validate-file-exists:
[echo] Error: ** file location /ora01/app/oracle/product/middleware/Oracle_IDM1/registry.xml is not found
validate-file-exists:
[echo] Error: ** dir location /ora01/app/oracle/product/middleware11g/oracle_common is not found
Has anyone seen this before?

I worked through this issue with the assistance of Oracle Support. What we ended up doing was the following:
1) Install (do not configure) the 11.1.1.2.0 verion
2) patchMaster.properties should have these values filled in:
patchMaster.Componentlist=OID
patchMaster.Schemaurl=jdbc:oracle:thin:@<hostname>:<port>:<sid>
patchMaster.Schemauser=SYS AS SYSDBA
patchMaster.Schemaprefix=ODS
patchMaster.Mwhomenew=/ora01/app/oracle/product/middleware11g
patchMaster.Mwhomeold=/ora01/app/oracle/product/middleware
patchMaster.Oracleinstancenewlist=/ora01/app/oracle/product/middleware11g/asinst_1
patchMaster.Oracleinstanceoldlist=/ora01/app/oracle/product/middleware/instances/asinst_1
patchMaster.Oraclehomenew=/ora01/app/oracle/product/middleware11g/Oracle_IDM1
patchMaster.Oraclehomeold=/ora01/app/oracle/product/middleware/Oracle_IDM1
patchMaster.Loglevel=debug
patchMaster.ValidationErrorContinue=true
The ValidaitonErrorContinue=true basically means ignore errors and continue -- so we ignored the files not found errors.
3) run the 'ant master-patch-schema' command
4) run the 'ant master-patch-oinstance' command
5) copy the wallets folder and files (the ewallet.p12 and cwallet.sso files did not get migrated)
6) Modify environment variables and custom start up scripts for new middleware and instance home directories

2.      Top right hand part of the screen select "Options"
3.     Select "See All Options"
4.      Select "Phone" menu
Check if you have 10 Devices registered.
If you have, you need to delete one of them to add your new Smart Phone to Exchange for synching
Check the "Last Sync Time" to indicate if this device is still active or not.

Since I downloaded the upgraded software, my charger that came with my phone says "this cable or accessory is not certified and may not work reliably with this iphone" It worked before but now it doesn't...I don't think I should have to buy a new one...

Try checking your cable socket/lightning cable for dirt, grime, pocket lint, etc. I could not find the solution to this issue myself and after much searching I found someone stating that cleaning this out helped them immensely.
After taking a wooden toothpick (making sure the phone was OFF first) and gently clearing out the edges and inside of the lightning socket this went away.) It is worth noting that I had a significant amount of dust or lint buildup along the edge rails which I think was causing the iphone to believe it was plugged into something when it was not.
Try it and see, ensure you are very careful and do not use any conductive tools to clean the area in question. Compressed air also does wonders here.

Were you using Acrobat IX standard or pro version? Is Acrobat currently installed on your system?

After upgrading from Vista to Windows 7, Firefox lost all my stored passwords, never asks to save them, even though I've checked box for saving them, have made sure history is not cleared, and am not in Private Browsing.

In Windows 7, Firefox 8.0 does not ask to save passwords, and does not save, them, even though I checked the box to save passwords. I have confirmed that clearing history is not on and that I am not in Private Browsing. This is so frustrating, it almost makes me want to go back to Vista. I have looked at all the suggestions to fix the problem in "Help" and have followed the suggestions, and none of them help.

I have the TX2 1012NR and its can upgrade just fine! Here is a few recommendations "only if u have the HP Upgrade program disks"
If you have them you can install a clean copy and delete everything... Do not use the use me first disk included because it prompts you to install an older BIOS.... Just use the windows 7 upgrade disk and start the process. The clean install clears your entire drive but does not void your warranty! When you use the use me first disk after the install it actually loads everything else needed to get you up in running. The touchscreen driver and the HP Mediasmart programs will have to be downloaded from the HP support site. Once again its recommended that if there were any programs installed delete them do not try to update them! This causes issues and countless errors. Specifically with touchscreen drivers etc uninstall them before installing the ones from HP support. I found this was not the easy way to do it but the best way... I also recommend that when doing any sort of BIOS update that you remove your Battery and leave it connected to a power cord only! Last but not least if you really mess up and its under warranty... Send it to HP they will set it back up to factory defaults under Windows Vista with the more up to date BIOS installed. I hope my information helps! Sure you might loose some programs but in the end your computer runs faster and smoother because all the programs installed are made for Windows 7.... Also they did release the Touch Pack for download from the Microsoft website here is a link telling more about the features and benefits and how to get it as it is a totally free download...

I have the same but not the same problem. When I play a sound or a video on a website (other than youtube)on safari, a weird nois is comeing from the speakers, the sound has pops/clicks but if I play the same video/sound on mozilla it works fine.. If wnyone know what's the problem.. please let us know

Submitted podcast XML to ITS and did not receive email.

Hi, new user here. I have set up a fully functional working Itunes compatible XML feed that was checked and verified by feedvalidate. During the submission to ITS everything went smoothly displaying all the proper info at the summary page. However it has been a few hours now and i have not received the email stating that my podcast has been submitted and is under review. I have also ensured that the right email was used with both my itunes account and inside the XML file. Does ITS still issue this email or do they only issue an email when you are accepted / denied. Thanks in advance.

It will probably take at least two weeks, maybe more before you hear that your podcast has (hopefully) been accepted.
It's worth checking a feed by subscribing to it manually from the 'Advanced' menu in iTunes; if it works there it should be fine. FeedValidator has its uses but it checks XML; a feed can be compliant with that and still not work in iTunes, though likely enough yours is fine.

Can't upgrade iWork 09 to iWork 13, App Store shows INSTALLED and will NOT download

When I purchased a MBP in 2010 it came with iWork 09. Each time I launch either Keynote, Pages, or Numbers it tells me there is a new version available and asks if I would like to install. If I say "YES" I get taken to the app store and each of the apps says "INSTALLED" and does not have a download option.
I tried manually moving /Applications/iWork 09 to /tmp but when I revisit the app store it wants to charge me for the free upgrade.
No idea how to fix this.
I wanted to demo this cool new collaboration feature, but it looks like it will have to wait.

While upgrading my iPhone 3GS to iOS 4.2 something went wrong and came up with the message "The iPhone could not be restored. An unknown error occurred [1015]." Now it will not start at all. It just stays on screen with USB and the iTune picture. What can I do to get it going again. I only tried to upgrade because I was prompted to up-grade and now I am helpless. I did a backup before starting the upgrade. The error message did not tell what to do next. Any help is very much appreciated.

Usually that means the iPhone was hacked to unlock it from the original
carrier .
Updating the operating system locks it back to that original carrier

(Expect it to take longer to start this way because it runs a directory check first.)
If this works look in System Preferences > Users & Groups > Login items and delete any third party login items (-), you can always add them back with the (+). Don’t just “hide” them by checkmark.

You can't downgrade the iOS level.
Try using Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.

Go to Settings>Safari>Clear History, Cookies and Data. Restart the iPad. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.

I have entered the 24 character licence from v.1 of Photoshop Elements and the Upgrade to v.12 says it isn't valid.
When I regestered v.1, I was living in NY and used a different userid (and I told adobe about this). When I try to reregister v.1,

You can't downgrade the iOS.
As long as the apps are still available in the store, and you use the same iTunes account as you originally used to buy them, then you should be able to re-download them for free. If you download them to your computer's iTunes you could then try restoring to your backup (have you not got an old backup that might be of some use ?) and see if that restores them and their settings/content - a backup doesn't contain the actual apps, just their content/settings, so for the restore to work fully iTunes needs access to the apps so that it can restore them.
ibooks can also be re-downloaded for free, and, depending upon which country that you are in, possibly music and tv shows and (in the US some/all) films.
