Hello.
I wrote flex application with http basic authorization. After
I successfuly loginin i try to upload file and independently of
used browser I recieve authorization window from IE and I have to
enter login/passwd second time. After it everything work fine and I
can upload more files without authorization window. How can I make
away this window? Is there any securinty flash settings?

OPMN and HTTP server problem

Hi all,
I'm trying to install Application Server Infrastructure on RHEL 3, I Managed the connect the OID with database repository on another server..
But the installation failed at OPMN configuration assistant-start HTTP server!
I continued the installation anyway and used configToolCommands to configure the rest of the required tool, so now every thing is configured well exept for the (OPMN configuration assistant-start HTTP server)
in the installation log file, this was what I found:

try this...there might be a port conflict with webcache and Http.
if you do not need webcache..stop it and start http.
opmnctl stopproc ias-component=Webc{C}ahe
opmnctl startproc ias-component=HTTP_Server
i am positive it will be port conflict. try running your http in a different port.

OSB call to remote Web Service via https proxy and https CONNECT problem

I have a service that calls a web service on another server as a web service. This call is via https and the certificate validation raises no errors.
I now want this call to go via a squid httpd proxy on port 3128 on some machine. So I would like to use HTTP CONNECT (RFC 2817) proxying,. But when I set up this as a proxy, I am getting "Certificate chain" error messages. The certifcate chains is no different now from when I called without the http proxy, so what am I doing wrong? Does OSB support HTTP CONNECT?

General runtime error: [Security:090477]Certificate chain received from XXX - 123.123.123.123 --> test.salesforce.com was not trusted causing SSL handshake failure.
This is of course not relevant if the callout were using CONNECT. In the CONNECT scenario, OSB would not care about XXX's certificate.

Uploading and attaching files problem

Dear all,
Since a couple of weeks, I can not attach anything to a mail nor upload any image or file on any website (facebook, fileshare etc.).
The finder always freezes (no matter if it's Mail, Safari, Chrome or etc.) and I have to start the app again. I don't know where the issue comes from and I would appreciate any help on this matter.
I'm under OS X 10.9.2. (Macbook air 13")

Historically, if you wanted to send a UNIX folder via email, you would compress it into a foo.zip file. Apple understood this with Pages ’09 v4.n, when it took a Package (folder), compressed it, and renamed the .zip extension to .pages. All automatically, with general email and filesharing compatibility.
Along comes Pages v5+, with a totally new document architecture that is incompatible with prior Pages versions. To the Finder, it too looks like a file due to Package magic — and yet, in its natural state, is an uncompressed folder. To get this to play nice with Gmail webmail, and non-Apple filesharing services, you have to compress this document (folder) yourself before mail attachment, or placing on your preferred filesharing service. This is achieved by right-clicking the document icon, and choosing compress, which produces foo.pages.zip.
The other work-around is to simply not use Pages v5+, and resume using Pages ’09 v4.3. If you had Pages ’09 v4.3 previously installed, the new Pages installation moved it into /Applications/iWorks ’09. The trick here is that you cannot double-click on a document to open it as Pages v5+ will try to open it. You wil need the right-click contextual menu and Open With... Pages (4.3).

Problem Uploading and Sharing Video Files

I just uploaded a 3.3GB h.264 Quicktime movie to Creative Cloud. It took many hours. Now that it's finished uploading, I can't figure out how to play the video while logged into Creative Cloud, despite that fact that under information it's recognized as a mov and 3.3GB. And when I try to share using the link-in-email option, my friend can't play the movie or download it. When he tries to download it, nothing connects. Creative Cloud seems to be treating this movie as a single still image or something. Suggestions as to how to solve these upload and share video problems? I have a 2011 MacBook Pro with all possible upgrades, Mac OS X Version 10.6.8. Any help here much appreciated. One of the reasons I signed on for a year with Creative Cloud was to utilize this 20GB to share video in the way I've done through Dropbox.

I've uploaded this h.264 Quicktime (which plays fine before uploading) a few times now and cannot download or share due to a very long period of "Connecting...", then the message "Problem loading page. Try again in a few moments. - If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network connection. - If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the web." Then I'm given the option to "try again". This or a similar message is what others get when trying to download when I try to share the file with them using the link-in-email method, and neither I nor any of those I try to share this with are having problems with internet connectiions or downloading other large video files from the internet. The reason I suspect that Creative Cloud can't deal with downloading larger files such as this 3.3GB Quicktime is that I have no problem uploading, downloading or sharing small Quicktime movies through CC, and they are identified the same way and look the same when uploaded to CC. I also have no problem downloading much larger video files from other sites on the internet, such as feature length films that are a lot larger than 3.3GB. It seems like only things that download quickly don't time-out, regardless of what browser I'm using. Does Creative Cloud's download system rely on files being able to be downloaded quickly in full before a browser's time-out? As I've mentioned before, I have no problem uploading, downloading, sharing, etc. using Dropbox. Long explanation here, I know, but I thought all this info might help in figuring things out. Any ideas as to what's going on?

i have a problem with the authentication against a proxy server and against a content provider. At first I have to authenticate against the proxy to get "free internet". The next step is to authenticate against the content provider to get a html or xml file.
The following source code runs very good in Eclipse, i.e. as JUnitTest. But If I execute the same code within a weblogic server, I will get an error (not authenticated). I believe I get this message from the content provider and not from the proxy because If I test this code within the weblogic server and with no authentication (i.e. google needs no authentication), I will get a valide xml/html file.

I typically have used Apache Commons HttpClient for anything but trivial URL connections, and especially when combining both basic auth and proxy auth. When you use it, be aware of the "preemptive authentication" flag. One server I worked with didn't send the correct parameters back on particular requests, so I had to turn on this flag to get it to work.

What is the HTML form to upload the xml file to the XSQL ?

You are posting your XML file as a parameter therefore you should use the <xsql:insert-params/> tag, not the <xsql:insert-request/>. The insert-request can only handle data not posted via a parameter.
Usage:

2 remarks:
I was not able to succesfully POST the form. The answer was <xsql-status action="xsql:insert-request" result="No posted document to process" />. With GET is was succesfull.
Second, if you use MSInternet explorer 5 or higher use could post the XML directly (not aw parameter) using an ActiveX object.

I would imagine that at school, you're required to connect through an HTTP proxy.
From the menu bar, select
 ▹ System Preferences ▹ Network
If the preference pane is locked, click the lock icon in the lower left corner and enter your password to unlock it. Then click the Advanced button and select the Proxies tab. Enter the proxy settings given to you by the network administrator. Click OK and then Apply.
You may wish to create separate network locations for home and school. See the built-in help for instructions.

Problems with How-to upload and download

I downloaded and followed the instruction listed on the Oracle HTML DB How To Documents site titled - Build a file upload and download application
I completed the exercise and am having the following problems:
1) The one download link that is working gives me a popup to download a file named XXXX from www.XXX-YYY.net. The actual file I am trying to download is called stinger.exe. Www.XXX-YYY.net is the name of the site where the HTMLDB is loaded. XXXX is the name of the customer. I don't know where it is pulling the customer name from when I do the download. The correct file name is displayed in the file list. However, XXXX is the file named in the dowload pupup and an unrecognized file type call XXXX is downloaded.
(Actual names are not being used.)
2) There are two other files in the list but when I click down load for them I get The Page Cannot Be Found Error.

Problems with uploading and synching albums

I am a fairly new user to Elerments, although I've used Photoshop for years. On-line, I have five albums that I have uploaded and friends can view them. I am trying unsuccesfully to upload another album and I follow all the steps (I think) in the manual, but my newest album is not available on line.
Additionally, I am having teouble synching files and get an error message. When I thell Elements to "fix it" the computer just sits and does nothing for a long time.
Can anyone suggest an approach to solving these issues?

What you need from your old Mac is a file titled Domain.sites2 which will be located in the your Users/Home/Library/Application Support/iWeb folder where the home folder is the one with this icon:
Find that file and move/copy it to the same folder on your new Mac. If there is none go to the Application Support folder and create an "iWeb" folder.
If you do not have that domain file you will have to start over from scratch and rebuild your site. iWeb cannot import published html files. However, Chapter 2.3 on the iWeb FAQ.org site has tips on using some of the existing files, image, audio, video, etc., from the published site in the recreation of the site.
To publish to a 3rd party FTP client I suggest you publish your site first to a folder on your hard drive and then use the free FTP client Cyberduck to upload the site folder and its index.html file to the server.

HTTP and HTTPS connections time out--only one computer on the LAN has this problem. Also affects Internet Explorer

For the last few days HTTP and HTTPS connections on one computer on my LAN usually time out or fail to load completely. This also affects Internet Explorer on the same machine, but email, FTP, etc. seem to be working normally. The URLs that do not load in the browsers ping normally, and load normally on another machine on the same LAN. Running Firefox in Safe Mode does not help.

A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox without informing you about that, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox.

LSMW upload and Regular upload problem

Pt1. I am trying to upload few docs from LSMW.......i can upload all upload and everything is fine, but when i am trying to open the attached doc its says that "c:\user\........" could not be accessed.
Pt2. If i do manual creating of document for the same doc type i can attach and open the attachement.
What is the difference, am i missing anything ?
Do i need some DC30 config ? If yes, then why its working (Point 2.)
