R1                     (Here excel cell will be filled with Red Color)
G1                     (Here excel cell will be filled with Light Green Color)
G2                     (Here excel cell will be filled with Dark Green Color) and so on....
How to save the Color_Code And Color in ZTable. I have the clear idea about BDC that can upload excel file containing data but no idea hoe to upload the Excel file containing Fill Color.
Kindly guide me in this matter.

  • Brushes have pixelated edge: when filled with color there's a white line at the border

    Hello,
I'm trying to make geometric shapes that are black outlines filled with color. I'm drawing the shapes with the pen tool. When I fill them using the bucket tool, there's a pixellated white line separating the black outline and the color infill. How to do make the color fill directly to the black outline?
    Thanks for your help,

In addition to Chris's post wanted to advise you that stroke effects in Phothsop have rounded edges in Phothoshop. You will notice this on thin strokes (eg: 1 pxl).
Set the stroke to go on inside for squared edges, not center or outside. Adobe has been aware of this since CS, but has not been find a solution for Photoshop to handle this.

  • Why are my Pictures distorted and not fully filled with color?

SG asked rsayen06 several important questions to get at the core of that user's Premiere Elements issues. So far I do not see any answers to the questions. An the answers will be in those details. Although you have offered your project settings and saying that you have the same problem, they are but a small part of the troubleshooting equation.
    1. What version of Premiere Elements are you using and on what computer operating system is it running?
    2. You say you are putting pictures and music on the Timeline? How many pictures and what are their pixel dimensions? What type of music, what compression and file extension? What is the total duration of the Timeline content?
    3. When you playback the Timeline content in the Edit Mode Monitor are you looking at the rendered or unrender Timeline?
    4. When you say that you see distortion in the pictures...how are they distorted...
    a. from the point of view of pixel aspect ratio, flicker, lines, other?
    b. What do your computer resources look like in the way of installed and available RAM and free hard drive space? Are you getting any error messages associated with any of the project difficulties that you are encountering?
    c. When you get to the burn dialog, what does the Quality Area show for Space Required and Bitrate?
We will be watching for your follow up.
    Thanks.

  • Shapes Will Not Fill With Color

For some reason, all of a sudden when I go to make a shape and choose a color, it does not fill. I noticed that the Style box to the right of the color box on the top bar had a white box with a red line through it. I then chose Simple Outer from the drop down box and it still will not fill. Please advise! I am using Elements 10. Thank you! Kelly

  • Webdynpro DateNavigator cell marking with color or character

    Hi Everybody,
We have a requirement to mark the calendar(Date Navigator) with more than four colours, as per my knowledge in webdynpro there are only four colours, which we can use for marking the calendar in WDMarkingCategory.  So, Can anybody tell me whether we can set more than four colours to mark the calendar.  Or otherwise can we set a character to the calendar cell instead of the date.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Ravi

Well, fifth color ist marking the actual selection, so not usable as category.

  • HT4648 So if you import a numbers document from a mac to iPad which has a conditional format rule such as a cell with a score between 1-10 fills with the colour black will still work on the iPad? Not being able to edit it just means you can't change this

I want to use numbers on my iPad mini for a team I coach. I have a spreadsheet on my mac I want to import onto the iPad mini for players to enter in wellness ratings. On this spreadsheet (on the mac) I have a conditioning formatting rule that when a player enters in their numbers the cells fill with black so others can't see their entries (to maintain privacy). Will this function import across onto iPad numbers? From the discussion I saw on this site it only partly answers my question stating "it cannot be edited" does this mean the conditional formatting rule cannot be changed and therefore will still work or the whole spreadsheet can't be edited and you can only view the spreadsheet and make no new entries to it?

Yes, I have posted this thread to different forums after I realized that Lenovo "customer care" is not likely to help me out and even wirelessforums.org members couldn't come up with any ideas for days, that's why. I have already written that helper applications like SMAC (or etherchange or macshift) don't work, because they do the same thing in the system as I change it in the driver panel, so they use the same method which simply does not work.
Locked? Definitely not. If yes, why can I change the MAC of my adapter under Ubuntu Linux using b43 open-source driver if it's really locked? Or you mean it's locked from software, because Lenovo or Broadcom didn't want their users to change their MACs or they just forgot to release a fully-functional driver? Well, then I would like to have a driver in which it's not locked, because this is a basic feature of my adapter of which the hardware is capable.
I have already contacted Broadcom, see their (automatically-generated) answer in my initial post, but I will try to do that again with more foresight.

  • Photoshop: Making a text box with color or border.

How do you fill a text box in Photoshop?
    Answer: You CAN’T.
Solution:  You CAN do anything you want in Photoshop -we know it’s GREAT - but the steps are not always so easy.  See below for solutions to making it seem that the text box is filled with color, bordered, semi-tansparent etc.
In Photoshop, a text box is mostly about the text inside and less about the box that surrounds it.  In other words, the box is always transparent and all effects apply to the font shapes typed inside by the user.  Photoshop (CS4) can produce incredible, professional, amazing text images. No Doubt About It!
A Photoshop text box can display one of two types of bounding boxes:
Its OBJECT bounding box is there for moving the whole text layer, rotating it, duplicating it and distorting.  Clicking once on the text layer pallet and selecting the move tool (v) will produce this bounding box.  The direct selection tool (a) won’t recognize it.  Note:  If you try to resize the box as an object, it also distorts/stretches the text inside.  This can make cool effects but usually you want the text to stay the way the font was designed.  See: Layers>Type>Warp Text.
The TEXT bounding box is there for highlighting, re-typing and selecting the margins of the actual text/paragraph etc.  Selecting the text tool and clicking over existing text will produce this bounding box.
Some features are accessible in either mode.
The Photoshop text tool has two types of cursors:
The NEW text box cursor looks like a text insertion cursor (often seen in word processing) WITH a dotted box around it.
To produce the new text box cursor just select the text tool and move over to a new work area.
The EDIT text cursor looks very much like the ordinary cursor people are familiar with (no dotted box).
To produce the edit text tool, hover the text tool over EXISTING text and the cursor changes to the simple insertion shape (without the dotted box).  A click now will put you into text editing mode, not new text box mode.  This drove me batty for a while because I was used to clicking anywhere inside an existing text box and the blinking cursor would pop in automatically - usually at the end of the last letter.  This doesn’t happen in Photoshop; if that NEW text box tool is active, it will try to place a new box anywhere you click sometimes overlapping another.
When in this mode (edit existing text) you can carefully hover the arrow to the edges of the text box and resize the bounding box without altering the shape of the text itself.  This is how you make the text box larger or smaller to fit/accommodate your needs.  You can also highlight text, insert between words/letters.  Highlighted text is available for changing its font, color, size, cutting/pasting etc.
To get OUT of the EDIT text mode, click the check box on the tool column above or type enter (not return) or type cmd-return (MAC), ctrl-return (WIN).  If you want to cancel any changes to an existing text box click the ex-circle on the tool column or press the esc key (top left of keyboard-escape key)
    OK, THE MAIN POINT:
To make an effect that looks like a text box that is filled, bordered, semi-transparent etc., you will have to create an object shape (box) and place it just behind (under) the text box.  Linking the two allows you to move them around easily.  The drawback is that, when you need a larger box, you’ll have to alter the size of both boxes and possibly re-center them to each other (I know it’s sort of dumb to have so many steps just to get a shaded text box or bordered one.)
Begin by selecting the Rectangle shape tool and draw a shape on the screen of any size.  In the layers pallet a layer is created with two items (layer thumbnail and vector mask) Double click the one on the left the layer thumbnail).  Change its color to a light one such as baby blue or yellow.
Now select the text tool and click once over that shape.  A text box is created exactly the same size of the rectangle (any shape will work too).
Type some text into that box and change the font type, size and color to something you might use regularly.  Check to see that the text color is black (can be changed later).  The text automatically wraps around when you reach the edge of this box and fits well (inside margins can be altered by pixel later).
Now link the two boxes to one another.  Shift-click each layer in the layers pallet to select both and choose the link button at the bottom of the window for layers or go to Layers>Link Layers.  Now when you move one it will move the other too!
Using the paragraph tools you can center text, indent first line, and add space between paragraphs.  Except the first paragraph seems too close to the top of the colored rectangle; doesn’t it?  Photoshop won’t add extra leading (horizontal space) between the text box and the top of the first paragraph.
There are two ways to fix this:
    1.     Select the text tool and click inside the existing text then hover the pointer just above the little box/tab in the top center of that rectangle and bring it down just a bit.
    2.     Or you could unlink the two layers (to unlink just click link again while one of the two layers is selected in pallet) and move the colored rectangle up just a bit.
In the first instance it was not necessary to unlink the boxes.  This is the advantage because altering the colored rectangle without unlinking will distort your text as will altering the text box if you are not in object text mode (see intro.)
    Ok, some advantages:
Now that you have this set up you can use the background box (colored rectangle) to make other effects.  Select it as a separate layer but you won’t have to unlink it.  To make the box semi-transparent change either the layer OPACITY or the layer FILL (found in the layer pallet).
    To create a border box:
    1.     Select the colored rectangle box and under Layers>Styles>Blending Options (or just double click in an open area of the layer pallet for that shape.)
    2.     Select Stroke, change:  Fill Type color, Color black, Size 4, Position inside, Blend Mode normal, Opacity 100%. Click OK/Apply
    3.     Back in the layer pallet, change the Fill to 0% and you will just have a border with attached text box.  You may have to alter the inside text box again depending on the thickness of that border especially if you made the Position to be inside to keep the sharpness of the rectangle.
    4.     Yes this will work with other shapes and even custom shapes.  Remember to draw the shape first and immediately place a new text box over it BEFORE any other alteration is done.  This ensures that Photoshop creates a text box exactly the same size/dimension of your chosen shape.  It even makes margins fit irregular shapes like triangles.
    5.     Try it!

  • Problem of fillup with colored rectangles

    The following is my canvas
    <mx:Canvas id="b1" x="10" y="10" height="40" width="300" borderStyle="solid" borderColor="black"/>
To fill this canvas with rectangles i wrote the following code
                   for(var i:int=b1.x;i<b1.x+b1.width;i=i+15)
                        var line1:UIComponent = new UIComponent();

                        line1.graphics.drawRect(i,b1.y,15,b1.height);

    its fine then

    In btnCall()
entered input in tiUnits should be converted to integer and by considering that value i need to fill the rectangles(width-15) of canvas one by one with colour
eg: if input is 15 the first rectangle needs to fill with color and if i enter 30 then after first rectangle two rectangles each width 15 needs to fill
in this way i have fill the canvas one after another

  • Fill table cells with color % depending on cell content

    Hi.
I'm working on a document with a lot of tables filled with percentages. The tables are originally on a Word document and the table cells are tinted according to their content: a value of 20% on the cell corresponds to a tint of 20%. This is done automatically on the Word document through a conditional formatting option that applies a graded color scale. Is there any way to do this in InDesign? I tried placing the tables and tried all options, but the color is not imported. Perhaps a script or a GREP style?
    Thank you.

Conditional formatting in Word is done via formula, but in Excel it is handled more "on the surface" and Excel's conditional formatting carries into InDesign nicely via Place or Paste. It could be worth considering moving those tables into Excel.
InDesign doesn't do this kind of formatting as a native function, but it couldn't hurt to ask about possible scripted solutions in the Scripting Forum.

  • Inner table output to Excel with colored cells?

    Hi!
I would like to output my inner table into Excel ducoment.
And it is important to have Excel document with colored cells.
I have searched for this solution, but could not find...
    Any help will be awarded!
    Kind regards, M.

    Hi,
You can use function module "XXL_SIMPLE_API"
    or alternatively use "XXL_FULL_API".
On the import, parameter name "N_KEY_COLS" is used to colour fields. The headings are automatically coloured. 1 is the default value.
This reply is nearly 1 year after the last post

When attempting to convert a workbook from Excel 2007 to a pdf using Acrobat 9 Pro, the cell font color prints slightly lighter than the cell fill color, even when the colors are the same - amber, green or red.  Never had an issue previously until now.  Not visible within the file, only when printing.  Any insight or suggestions are greatly appreciated!

Thanks for your reply Bill@VT.  I am converting using the Acrobat addin in Excel.  I read your e-mail and played with some of the Excel sheets.  The problem seems to arise when I am converting a landscape page that has been reduced to fit on one page whether by percentage or by fit to x pages by x pages.  I have tried various settings and in print preview they all look just fine but once I click the convert but the page size grows.  I am wondering if this is not an Acrobat problem but rather an Excel problem.

  • Coloring cells (fill) in Numbers

Does anyone know if Numbers can function similar to Excel? In Excel when you chose a fill color it remains selected when you move to any other cell in the spreadsheet enabling you to just click on fill to have it filled with exactly the same color. Thus far all I have been able to do with Numbers is to attempt to select the exact same color when I get t the next cell. Additionally, in Excel there is a format painter which enables the user to double click on it and then the format of any cell selected is changed to match the cell you selected with format painter.

You will soon discover that starting a new thread with a sentence like :

is far from being the best thing to do
When we start using a new application, scanning its menus is the B.A. BA
In the menu entitled Format, curious/serious users saw the menu items :
    Copy Style ⌥⌘C
    Paste Style ⌥⌘V
I guess that they are available to be used but maybe I'm just a dumb M…oSoft hater.

  • I need help highlighting an expiration date on my Numbers '09 spreadsheet. I want the text/fill of a cell to change color when the expiration date of an item is within 180 days of the current date.

I need help highlighting cells on my Numbers '09 spreadsheet.  I want the cell text/fill to change color when the date is 180 days or less from the current date.  I already have a cell with the current date in it.  I also know how to change the fill/text colors.  All the cells have been formatted to show date only.  I am having trouble with the formula.  I can get to the Conditional Formatting menu and select "With Dates" but after that I am lost.  Can anyone help?
    Thank you for any assistance.
    B

Set a Conditional Format rule as shown in the illustration below. The rule has been applied to all dates in column B of the table.
