Upload functionality for Posting level 30

HI,
I have a situation where I need to post around 800 entries at every period at posting level 30.
Is there any options to upload the documnets, as it is very difficult and time consuming for posting manually.
Can any one suggest how to develop an upload method for posting level 30?

our basis team did it, once in each system, during a weekend/night when everyone else was locked out/inactive.
As you would expect, they activated function FIN_ACC_GROUP_CLOSE in Dev, then we tested it
Then when happy, we went to QA, user testing then Production
We had a transport freeze during this period but it did not take us long (eg under 1 week)
There is no requirement to perform any further activations, unless you want the next functionality (we did not need the next 2 functions yet)
If you want to activate the later functions, you must first activate the earlier functions
You can activate all of the functions at the same time (in the correct order) but you must perform testing and remember that you cannot undo the activation
NB for BCS there are only 3 functions for BCS (NB I don't know about EHP5 yet):
FIN_ACC_GROUP_CLOSE (available in EHP2)
FIN_ACC_GROUPCLOSE_2 (available in EHP3)
FIN_ACC_GC_TAXRATECHG (EHP4)
- So you would have a maximum of 3 activations per system, or you could activate all at once.
Once activated, all of the new configuration options in that function are available in the workbench

I successfully downloaded the screen from 4.6 into a text file but when i went to 4.7; upload functionality is disabled.

but in my case Upload is grayed out in case of this particular program even if I am creating a dummy screen
My program already exist in SE38 in 4.7 and i have to copy screen from 4.6 . So I was looking for some simple tool like UPload /Download ..
I dont know why Uplaod is inactive in case of this program

On Yahoo Groups, Internet Explorer show a clipboard function for posting photos. When using Firefox the clipboard doesn't show up, so you can't post photos.

On Yahoo Groups, using Internet Explorer, one can use a clipboard function to post photos to messages. When using Firefox, the clipboard doesn't appear and you cannot post photos on group messages.

Make sure that you allow pages to choose their colors and that you haven't enabled High Contrast in the Windows Accessibility settings.

Function for post foreign currency valuation (F-05)

Hi,
I need a function module, BAPI, method or any other way, that help me to post a FI document (including all associated documents), as if we were working on the transaction F-05.
We really need to do postings affecting only the strong/hard currency with a more efficient method of updating than the batch-input.

Java-Based Upload Function No Longer Works After KB3021952 is Installed

Kindly note that my organization has just deployed the February 2015 Microsoft Security Patches including KB3021952. At the same time we have a Java web-based application that works fine before the February patches were deployed to all users. Upon deployment,
the upload function for the application started to fail, causing IE to crash (as shown below):
Event ID 1000 error was logged under Application logs (as specified below):

If I debugged the IE error using Visual Studio 2013 (loading symbols from Microsoft Symbol Servers option is enabled), the process will stuck at the following notification message:
I suspect that this error might be related to the new iexplore.exe file which being deployed together with KB3021952.
Another official case will be logged to the vendor of the Java web-based application. Just wanted to know if anybody else experienced the same issue upon the deployment of KB3021952. Additional information on my environment can be specified
as follow:
      Operating System: Windows 7 Ultimate and Enterprise
      Java Version: Version 7 Update 75
      IE Browser Version: Internet Explorer 9 and 11 (same issues detected on both versions).

Hi,
According to your description, it's hard to judge this update caused jave problem, you can try to uninstall the update package for test if this is Windows update problem.
On the other hand, according to the event log, IE crash seems like caused by MSVCR100.dll which refers to Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 SP1 Redistributable Package. Please access to the link below to downlaod and reinstall it for test:

Document upload/display for master data

Hello,
I have to implement a web application which provides a upload functionality for documents (images) of master data. Therefore exists a FM RSOD_MAST_CHANGE and this seems to be no problem to implement.
My problem now is to find a FM which provides the functionality to display these uploaded documents of specific master data characteristic.
Has anyone implemented such a functionality, too? Is there such a FM?

Suggestion for future Match upgrade -- add a "force upload" function

I've been using the Match service since it went GA, last month. I have a lot of CD rips, but also some vinyl needledrops and different masterings (i.e. The Beatles in Mono) which the Match functionality really has trouble with. In the case of the Beatles Mono, it might upload some tracks but "match" others. So my Beatles album ends up becoming half mono / half stereo in iCloud.
This is undestandable given the technology being used, but is still very frustrating. So my suggestion to Apple developers is to create an "force upload" function to their Cloud service, with the next Match revision. This doesn't need to be enabled by default, but make part of the dropdown for a song or album to alow the user to use their specific local version, if the Match process doesn't work to their satisfaction.
What do you think? Good idea or waste of developer resources? I've already called Apple support with this suggestion, but I'm assuming that they are hesitant as it might give users the ability to eat up a ton of storage space on Apple's end, if it's abused.

The idea has merit, though a reluctance on Apple's part to implement, as you pointed out, might be argued based on additional server commitment. However, my guess is that as the matching process improves (crossing my fingers here), the storage requirement for the same number of users would go down, not up. We read a lot more from people who want the songs to match for one reason or another than want the ability to eat up hours uploading. I suppose Apple could put some hard limit on how much could be uploaded without the user paying more, if it really came to that.
On another subject, while you've gone through pieces of it in other posts, I would like a chance to pick your brain regarding your Audacity workflow, i.e. turntable/cartridge used, phono stage/preamp, A/D converter - well the whole ball of wax. I've learned what I know through reading and by applying what I learned in radio & TV studios eons ago, so I'm sure having a dialogue with an actual human who's had better success than I in getting vinyl to match would be very helpful.
Because until I read some of your postings, I was under the assumption my limited success was better than what most were achieving, I detailed my process here.

Lifecycle functionality for startup class at ear level

I've searched and searched and read through a great deal of the R3 (10.1.3)documentation, looking for the ability to initialize a thread/class at application startup time at the ear level. I see where it is documented how to initialize a servlet at application startup using the "load-on-startup" tag, however, I have been unable to find any documentation outlining how to do so at the ear/EJB container level.
Is my only option to put together a servlet that calls/starts my ejb level class/thread and then configure that servlet for "load-on-startup"?

Lest you thought nobody has looked at your post, here I am, with a negative answer though. I do not think there is a lifecycle functionality for startup/shutdown class at ear level in oc4j. There are startup/shutdown classes that are called after OC4J initializes or before OC4J terminates, which is not what you are looking for either.

Creating multiple partner function for a sale order @ header level

Hi All,
I have a requirement where in i have to create more than one partner funtion for a sale order @ header level. But the system did not allow this sort of scenario and i got the error,
Partner function ZZ can only occur 1 times in procedure TA (Sales Document Header)
the function module that was giving this error was SD_PCHECK_PARVW_COUNT_OK
here the function module checks if a partner function already exists if so it throws that error. This also updates the VBPA table where partner function is one of the key fields.
Our issue is that we have to allow the system to enable posting 2 or more partner function for the same sale order. It was also verified that the unique key was unchecked during configuration.
is there any other way of over coming this issue as we are updating the standard table. Is it possible??

I believe this is a configuration setting, based upon the details of your post. Typically, a sales order can have multiple partner functions, but usually the partner type is not duplicated at a single level (header or one item). For example, it would not be logical to have multiple ship-to partners at the header level...these would be unique at the item level, if required.
Speak to your SD functional specialist about the configuration controls for partners, if you must have more than one partner with parvw = ZZ, for the entire order (header level).

BI IP --- Planning function for File Upload

In BI IP , When I am trying to load the data (text file) by using Planning function for File Upload. I am getting an error message When I am clicking on Update .
Error Message : Inconsistent input parameter (parameter: <unknown>, value <unknown>).
In Text file I am using Tab Separation for each value
Anyone help me out.

1. If you are on SP 14 you would need to upgrade to SP 15. It would work fine
2. If not, then -
a] apply note 1070655 - Termination msg CL_RSPLFR_CONTROLLER =>GET_READ_WRITE_PROVIDS
b] Apply Correction Instruction 566059 [i.e: in Object - CL_RSPLFR_CONTROLLER GET_READ_WRITE_PROVIDS,
delete the block: l_r_alvl = cl_rspls_alvl=>factory( i_aggrlevel = p_infoprov ).
and insert block - l_r_alvl = cl_rspls_alvl=>factory( i_aggrlevel = i_infoprov ).

Function module "UPLOAD" failed for Unicode

I have a program that uses the Function module UPLOAD. This function again uses the function ws_upload, which is obsolete. ws_upload and ws_download have been replaced by the new ones in CL_GUI_FRONTEND_SERVICES. But what function / method is replacing the UPLOAD function ?

Is there a standard program in SAP to take a report or listing of extract in MS Excel of the posting rule details configuration settings in SAP-JVA. I am fairly certain there is a program to extract the details in Excel but I am not sure what is the name of that program and how to use it. I appreciate any ABAP programmer or expert can guide me how to go about this listing.

In order to do postings in JVA, we create posting methods and under that Posting method we have to create and configure posting rules. Under the posting method, there are SAP JVA processes or functions and function items that are used to create the posting rules. The posting rules details are specified for each function and function item combination and involve the specification of Recovery indicator along with posting keys, SE indicator and billing indicator.
I am not convinced that the standard codes in my system for posting keys, recovery indicators and billing indicators are exactly the same as the default settings and I need to check it along with the posting rule details.
Please see the screenshots attached to give you an idea. I am looking for an ABAP program or report program to take out a listing of these posting rules details from the system.
