Upload Mime and Doc

Hello All,
I have 3 requirements.
1. I want to upload a Document (doc/xls/pdf) through a Web Dynpro Interface. I understand there is a UI named FileUpload, which returns the file data as xstring. What are the possible ways, I can store this in SAP for later retrieval?
2. How can I provide this data back to the user for the user to view? Can I provide a preview of the document in the Web Dynpro interface itself?
3. I want to upload an image using Web Dynpro Interface (not through SE80 into Mimes folder of the Component at design time, but at runtime, using the WDA application) and store it somewhere and then display it in another view. How to achieve this?

1.What i know is that there are lots of information available SCN about this. Just do a search on BDS . see th link here [https://cw.sdn.sap.com/cw/docs/DOC-43894|https://cw.sdn.sap.com/cw/docs/DOC-43894]
Also search for WDA and BDS.
2.If you store your content in a context node attribute of type xstring, you can later you to integrate with Office UI or Interactive form.
3. See th mime repository api class, it provides methods for you to do.
For examples..see also SIOS package in your system.

I was just reading this, but this guy didn't fix his problem till the end of the thread.. However can you help me on how to implement at least the "uploadBean" class because he in his post showed only the jspx file and the "backing_uploadfile" bean. Due to the way Apple sandboxes the applications on the iPad they client doesn't get filesystem access like on other platforms to be able to choose documents from other applications. The client does have access to it's own Documents folder where through iTunes you can sync in documents and then attach. Not a great process but currently all that is available right now.

Uploading PDF as a MIME and using it as a BSP page

hi BSP gurus,
I have received a requirement where in we have to create a page with static content ( which has a processes with flow chart diagrams, text content and URL etc). User has provided this as a PDF document.
Could anyone suggest if we can directly upload this PDF document as a MIME and use it as a page?
P.S : I was able to upload PDF document as a MIME and create a page with flow logic of type application/pdf.
Please let me know how can I use this PDF to display as a static page. Let me know if there is any other better solution.

Hello,
yes you can. Make right-click on your web application and then Create --> MIME object --> import. The file is uploaded into the web application and then you can call it, let´s say, like this:

I know, I always do that but I was in a rush to get somewhere and I was relying on my thousand dollar Mac to do some kind of recovery or something. I know Microsoft always keeps temporary files (I think Mac does too, part of me asking here in this forum was for someone to tell me where I can find those files) and when you go to open Office Works then it gives you the option of opening the last recent documents, saved or not saved.
I usually copy paste into my emial just in case something goes wrong with the created document but I just didn't have the time to login and do all that My loss, you live and you learn, BUT still if ANYONE got any info on this, PLEASE DO CHIME IN *keeping the hope alive*

Just going to throw in again: iCloud is to keep's Apple's products on Apple's devices synced up between multiple devices. It isn't for sharing. It isn't for storage.
iCloud is the Apple-branded cloud (see the "i"). It isn't meant to be a completely free-of-charge realization of the future that all the tech people keep calling "the cloud."
It adds a lot of very nice functionality to Apple's own products, yet people are screaming their heads off about not getting free disk space and free bandwidth to use for whatever they want online. Apple added functionality, but tons of people seem to think they took away functionality. These things were never promised with iCloud.

Window iphoto to big: no access to upload button and bug

I have a problem with my iphoto window upload: she is to big since 2 weeks...I suppose that i'have touched something...I cannot have access to the lower right corner.
For example:if i'm on facebook and want to upload some photos, the iphoto window open and this one is to big .So I cannot access to "upload' button and this window block,bug and i need to quite safari.
If i go to " Presentation" and reduce it,it's not good ( reduce the other window) and if I click on the green button on the left corner its (in my example)for the faceBook page.

Login to another user account on your Mac. Try Facebook on Safari there. If it's ok there, then at least you know the issue is just with your user account, not a system wide problem.

If you haven't tried turning off Safari Extensions... do that. At least you can rule that out. You can access Safari Extensions from the menu bar, Safari / Preferences / Extensions.

Pages can export to PDF and .doc formats and send those via email, but it has no "upload" function. That is something you normally do with a browser or an ftp app.

Since photo stream doesn't support videos, you would need to use an app to do this. Dropbox may be a good choice as I believe once enabled, all you have to do is open the app and it will automatically upload photos and videos taken since the last upload to your Dropbox account (see https://www.dropbox.com/help/289/en). If you aren't familiar with Dropbox, it's a very popular cloud service for hosting files and other media. Amazon just announced that its Cloud Drive service will soon support photos (http://9to5mac.com/2013/05/10/amazon-launches-cloud-drive-photos-app-for-iphone) /; perhaps it will also be extended to support videos at some point.

Uploading pdf (and other) files on my iPod

I am wondering how I can upload/load pdf files on my iPod. I would like to read a book while I am listening to my music and I would like to see if there's a way for me to upload a pdf file on my iPod. Moreover, do I need an Adobe or a Preview to see the pdf files or there's a built-in application that would allow me to see pdfs? Similarly, I would like to know how I could upload other files (docs, etc.) on my iPod.

there are several apps to do this. you should search the app store about this. I personally use Air Sharing. You can also use your mobileme account and use the iDisk app provided by Apple.

New Mac user. On a website the "Browse" button/link to upload pics and files is not showing, but shows up when I check from another computer. Why is it not showing on my MacBook Pro?

I just got my new MacBook Pro over the weekend, and was sooo excited. I wanted it to take back and forh to work with me. However on a website I use for work, I need to be able to upload files and pictures. but the area where the link/button "Browse" is normally at to add the pics or files, it is not showing up on my Mac. I thought maybe the site was messed up, but when I helped another coworker, I noticed on her screen (an HP computer) the link/button to browse files and upload is there. I came back to my MacBook Pro thinking maybe the website was working correctly again, but its still not showing up on mine. So I'm thinking its Mac related. MAybe theres a certain function I need to turn on for this?
I tried to unblock pop ups, even though its not a pop up screen, but this didn't do anything. HELP!!!!!

If the modem is also a router, either use the modem in bridge and run pppoe client on the TC.. that is assuming ADSL or similar eg vdsl. If it is cable service.. and the modem is a router, then bridge the TC.. go to internet page and select connect by ethernet and below that set connection sharing to bridge.
Please tell us more about the modem if the above gives you issues.

Keynote and Docs to go are missing after iOS5 update

I recently upgraded my iPad2 to iOS5 and now my keynote and docs to go apps are missing. What do I do now?

If you previously downloaded them they should be free. I know it looks like you will be charged but if you click on the app to install it, enter your ID and start the download, a box will pop up saying that it looks like you have already downloaded this app and it will download it again (free of charge). I figured out the solution to the problem. First I de-authorized her ipad in my itunes account and in Settings : Mails-Contacts -Calendars, I deleted Yahoo as her default mail account. It was that simple afterall and I didn't need to reset anything.

I need some help i have a friend who has asked me if i can create a website that allows them to upload their own images and text at their leisure.
His company is in the car sales trade so they need to regularly be updating their stock, and this needs to be done by somebody with limited computer knowledge so ease of use is fairly important.
I am using dreamweaver cs4 on a G5 Imac running Snow leopard 10.6.8, my skills are limited to creating uncomplicated websites but i am very keen to learn, i am aware of content management systems such as Druplal but have zero knowledge on how to use these.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated

Although putting together a form that would upload images and all the descriptions required seems like a fairly straghtforward project, depending on your current skill set.
