    Error while uploading Template in Internet Procurement Catalog Administrator responsibility
    I downloaded "Item Price" and i had one item onto spread sheet and tried to upload in above responsibility.
    This is how header level is in the template and line level has item information.

    I already had language section in the template as shown above, not sure why it is giving error.

  • Error uploading template to BI Publisher

    I've just installed BIEE 10.1.3 and have the Oracle BI Publisher add-in for Word installed (v 10.1.3.3.0, Build 108). I'm following the OBE found at

    Everything is working well until I get to the 'Publishing the Template for a BI Publisher Report' section. In MS Word, I'm selecting 'Upload Template As' (which, I presume, is the updated version of 'Publish Template As' which is noted in the OBE). Immediately upon selecting 'Upload Template As', I get this MS Word error dialog:
    -2147467261
    Load Report Parameters Error: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
    Note that everything has gone well up to this point. The SQL executes. The preview in PDF mode looks great. The 'Validate Template' menu option shows 'No Error found'. I am logged in as Administrator.
    Any ideas?

    I got a similar error. I was able to fix it by Turning-off the Norton Internet Security.
    I don't know what is the connection between the two, but it worked for me.

  • Clearing g/l account with upload template and ZFG1

    Hi there
    I wonder if someone can help me please.
    I need to manually clear some line items from 2 g/l accounts that cannot be cleared using the clearing program (they are duplicate documents created in error and since reversed therefore account balance does not set to zero and not picked up by clearing program).
    A colleague has provided me with the t-code ZFG1 in order to do this manual clearing. This involves the use of an excel upload template where I populate the Document and item #, then execute via ZFG1. I would however like to do a test run of this 1st as I have approximately 6000 line items to clear for each account.
    Can someone please confirm that if I uncheck "Post Directly" on the ZFG1 selection screen and execute the transaction with the upload file that this will have no impact in the system and is similar to a "test". There is no "Test" option in the selection criteria for the t-code.
    Appreciate any advice anyone can provide.

    Hi Sharon,
    this is a customized program and i believe you should know first its capabilities.
    you can ask your ABAPers help to have more understanding if you dont have the func spec.
    or you can go to your QAS environment to do some testing first.
    These are the standard tcodes that sap has in order for you to do clearing General Ledger Manual Account Clearing – F-03 or F.13 for authomatic clearing of  GL a/cs.

  • Role Upload template for SAP GRC CUP 5.3

    Good Morning / Afternoon / Evening SAP Security Gurus,
    I am looking to upload end user roles via a role upload template spreadsheet for use in SAP GRC CUP 5.3.  I am referring specifically to the recommended template mentioned in step 11 of the 5.3 Post Installation CUP guide, so that roles can be picked within ERM for workflow.
    According to the guide, it recommends uploading from the backend systems via a spreadsheet - any template versions or advice on finalising this would be most appreciated.

  • Validation - GL upload template

    Hi SAP Gurus,
    We have created a Validation, this validation is working perfectly fine when I used f-02 or try to post manual journal entry.
    But when we try to upload a GL template the Validation is not working. I the upload template also i have checked eveything is fine.
    Does Validation work for GL upload...

    Yes my validation is based on t code f-02, now when i do a manual JV using F-02 then my validation is working perfectly. But we have a GL upload template i use the same detials in the upload template which i used in manual JV, but now my validation is not working.
    So does validation work for upload / background jobs, if so then how can i chance my validation so that i can take the upload template also into consideration for the validation

    Hi,
    I installed Oracle BI Desktop and logged into Publisher Server.
    I see Open and Logoff button as Enabled.
    But "Upload Template" and "Upload Template AS" buttons are disabled.
    Any pointers?

    Hi Nikhil,
    Please use the "XML" button within you datamodel to export some sample data (or just create an empty xml file) and then click "Load sample data" within the BIP plugin. Select the XML file. Now al buttons will become available.

    Dear Seema,
    Please find the details:-
    1. Eligibility should be monthly and should not carry forward beyond financial year . (31st march)
    Please mention your eligibility in infotype 0589 (Individual Reimbursements) start date and end date should be 31.12.9999 i.e.
    PA30- put 0589 & put reimbursement type, eligibility amount (monthly /annually as per requirement) and start date & end date.
    2. If there is change in eligibility with past effect, system should take care of that and accordingly reduce or increase the eligibility.
    If there are change in eligibility with past effect, then just copy the infotype 0589 and mentioned the effective date (start date) & end date 31.12.999 .Never forget to mentioned the wage type.
    In second steps use the carry forward tcode :- PC00_M40_REMC - Claims Balance Carry Forward
    Through this code you start carry forward the reimbursement with start date.
    3. To update the table T7INAE  by using program PC00_m40_UPCF.
    Table T7INAE update automatic after the off cycle process are completed.
    Scenario is :
    1.     Employee should not be paid more than his eligibity till date.
    Eligibility are mentioned in infotype 0589 (monthly /annually as per client requirement)
    We mentioned the eligibility & other details in table V_T7INAA
    2. If his claim value is more than eligibility then paid amount should be equal to Eligibility. and balance claim value should be carried forward and should be paid in next period accordingly.
    This activity is done by approver
    3. Unclaimed balance in the year end should be paid as taxable amount.
    In table V_T7INAA, we mentioned that end of the financial year whether the amounts are lapse or paid and taxable.
    As per your requirement taxable and paid the mentioned the wage type . This wage type should be configure for posting purpose also for FI posting (tab v_t52EL)

  • XML Publisher in E-Business Suite 11.5.10 Error uploading template

    I am creating an XML Publisher output for a custom report. I have created the Data Defenition, I have created a template file (RTF)in MS Word using BI Publisher Destop.
    Now I am creating a template in XML administrator and Uploding the RTF template file. I am getting an error saying that
    "The uploaded file verapdtl.rtf is invalid. The file should be in XSL format"
    I have no idea what is going on. I have selected the Report format as MS Excel.

    Hi George,
    An RTF file should be created from the existing XML/BI Publisher Local Installer.
    Once you Install XML/BI Publisher locally, you see XML/BI Publisher prompt when you open a MS Word document.
    So while saving you need to save it as rtf file format.
    And you should create the RTF file as per coding standards mentioned in XML/BI Publisher User guide.
    Pls confirm if you have done the same, if not please follow the instructions.

  • Getting Unexpected Error message while Uploading template

    Hi,
    I am updating one of the .*rtf* template. The origional size of the the template file is 49.6MB. However if I made any changes in the template file(even if I add/remove space) and save it, the template size increases to 80+ MB.
    And when I tried to upload this file, I'm getting the 'UnExpected Error'. Probably due to time out as file size is big.
    Does anyone faced the same issue? I tried updating file on different machines but still the template size increases dramatically. Help.

  • Adding Description in Upload Template & Input template

    Hi experts,
    In my project i have a situation where the user wants to Upload the Description also , which is not a Master Data type which keep on changing.
    So the issue is How to Upload the description via Flat file Upload.
    Second is the same Description needs to be there in INPUT Template also which the user wants to input based on the situation so this should be a dynamic field rather than a Static Master Data field.
    I tried inserting Comments option , But here i have some doubts like,
    1. Can i get these Comments in reports as a Column against Each Row i.e
      Customer     sales Region    Order 1    Comment 1  1000
      Customer 2  Sales region 2  order 2    comment 2   2000
    2. I know that when u copy this from Version A to B comments are not copied , Is there any Standard way to copy Comments also.

    ==> You could retrieve comments data in BPC Excel through EVCOMM() function. Those syntax can combine with EVDRE() function. BPC always keep a history of comment. For example: You sent one comment is "ABC" and then update it, BPC keep two data and you will see the last data into BPC Excel.

    And also before those all of the material master, Vendor master, Payment ,Plants etc datas should have been completed..
    It is not so easy
    but your ABAP'er can write a batch input.

    Uhmmm... It looks like you haven't named your default starting page correctly - Yahoo hosting is looking for "home.html" to start from and you currently don't have any document titled that. And seeing your list of files (based on your link you supplied) you also have index.dwt up on the server. The .dwt file extension means it's a template! That's only useful in Dreamweaver to create new pages from and has no business being up on your server. Fix that start page issue and you'll most likely resolve the majority of your issues.
