Uploading Contacts into online share

Is there a way that I can upload my contact list for online sharing of my photo's Starter Edition? I have a lot of contacts, family and friends and this is going to take a long time to do...

You don't even have to do that. When you want to send something, don't put
anything in the address area. It will automatically start the email client
as you normally would except that the files are now attached. Then, from
within the client, add your contacts as you normally would... That's it.

Hi,
I have been trying (several ways) to import the contacts into N73 through my PC using the PC Suite. However, everytime an error message is displayed that format is not correct. I have tried both Txt and CSV files. Request, if anyone has a ready template, please share it or mention as how to import the contacts information into the phone.

You can also use Windows Contacts (in Windows 7 - presume Vista or XP) - this will import from CSV
(very handy for Hotmail or email accounts where you may have stored your contacts previously).
While Windows Contacts can export to vCard - there's no need as Ovi Suite (at least the v2 beta) can use this to sync :: Tools > Options > Contacts
I'm having to do this initially to get contacts from Hotmail into Ovi as Windows Live is unfortunately not yet available on nokia 5800 xpress music

If you have the contacts on the phone you can sync the phone to the computer. The contacts should then show in address book. At this point you can sync the address book data to iCloud. You have to make sure the iCloud account is setup on the computer and this will not work unless the computer is running 10.7.2 of course. There are other ways to add the contacts to iCloud like through the phone but the phone must be running iOS5. If it is you can simply add the cloud account to the phone and toggle the contacts slider. You will get a prompt to keep or delete the contact data. Of course you keep. Then you will get a prompt to merge at which point you do. This should merge the contacts on the phone with iCloud. Hope this helps.

Upload contacts in Excel to BB Curve-

Help- I got a new pc and new bb at the same time- I downloaded my contacts into excel via an older version of the bb desktop mgr- now cant figure out how to upload the excel contacts into the curve via the desktop manager- any thoughts?

You can import the excel file to Outlook, for one method, and them Sync your Outlook file to the BlackBerry using Desktop Manager.
Another is to export that Excel file to an ASCII file text file and import it directly (without Outlook) using Desktop Manager.

Importing Shared Contacts into the Global Address List (Outlook 2013)

A colleague of mine has made a contact list which is going to be shared with other colleagues to increase productivity.
His question is, if it's possible to import the contact list into the Global Address List after it has been shared?
The contact list does not appear in my Global Address List, instead it appears in the People section (next to Calender).
If you need technical info about the office version etc., feel free to ask!

You can import contacts into Active Directory, so that it can be included in GAL. There are some gotchas with that however. Maybe, a simple Outlook folder sharing is more convenient for you. You can share Outlook Contacts folders among collagues just the
same as Outlook Calendar sharing works. Start here:

The ideal situation would be if the shared Contacts Folder shows up in the Offline GAL, but I'll try to fiddle around with it for a bit.
Is there also a possibilty that users can import a contact list so that appears in their Offline GAL?, I do think that it might be a hassle to keep the contacts updated....

Kin ONEm: uploading contacts from backup assistant?

back when the Kin was a full social networking phone with access to a "cloud", you could add all your contacts by exporting them into a spreadsheet from the backup assistant, and then use your microsoft live account to get them into the phone (or somethign to that effect). but now that the kin is just a feature phone, it appears you can't any more.
does anyone know how to upload contacts? I think now we have to do them all manually, which stinks. but I'd like to know if there is a way before I do all that work!

Upload file to windows share folder running on unix

Hi, I am having requirement to upload the files into windows share folder, It works fine If I run the application on windows, but we moved the application to UNIX, so right now the client has to upload the files to windows shareholder , server is running on the UNIX,
as I am using the simple File file = new File(//share/shareholder),
so the problem is once we move to UNIX, how can I handle ., any example will really helpful.

How to upload data into Sharepoint?

    Before you use RBS you have to either:
    1- Manually upload data into Sharepoint 2013 Server
    2- Use a migration tool.
    But how do you "manually" upload data into Sharepoint 2013 Server and what is the
recommended tool to use to upload data into Sharepoint 2013 Server

Uploading manually just involves uploading data like you normally would to SharePoint. Drag-and-drop documents into the Document Libraries or use WebDAV to connect to the SharePoint site and copy that way.
As for migration tools, there are plenty out there. ShareGate, Metavis, Metalogix, AvePoint and others have migration tools.

HT1386 Since iTunes upgrade, sync no longer puts my contacts into my groups

Since my recent ITunes upgrade, IPhone sync no longer puts my contacts into my groups, even though I use the checked off groups option. The groups show up but do not contain any contacts.
I even deleted all the contacts on my IPhone and started out fresh and resynced. Nada.

Well, I can see a potential problem with that, although you must have made it work before.
I had a set up on a Windows computer like that, but the iTunes accounts couldn't communicate or share content. We consolidated, after much fuss, to one Library, one location.
This may be why your daughter has problems connecting to the iTunes store. The "server" is serving 2 accounts.
I am sure it is why the books didn't sync and can't be found on her iTunes account. If you look on her iTunes on the computer, are the book titles pale gray? is there an ! point on them? This means that while the computer knows they were there, they can't connect with the actual content. After all they can't be in two places at once. iTunes can sometimes offer to "rebuild the path" to lost files, I don't know it that would work here.
As for why they come and go from your device, I can only guess it is because they are not iTunes purchases. Just like my PDFs, iTunes tolerates them, but really doesn't know what they are, or what to do with them, so it does nothing. (unless you make it!) Not that iTunes treated the iBooks I did get from iTunes any better.
As I posted above, the only way I could get it to work was to delete stuff, which seemed to shock iBooks into syncing the books and PDFs. Maybe, finish the book you are reading, delete all then add new books? (Sorry,it's all I got)
If you are going to share content, one iTunes Library, but separate Apple IDs would work better. But that is up to you (I'm also a parent, I get it) I share with my 2 sons.
You mentioned a Kindle. I have one. Never use it, but it is an older one. The paperwhite seems like a good idea. It is absolutely impossible to transfer PDFs to the kindle in a print size big enough to read unless it's
24 pt type going in. Didn't work for me, might work for you.

How to get Outlook contacts into Android's contact list?

I have just installed Outlook by Microsoft Corp onto my Android Asus ZenFone 2. From the Outlook app, I can see under People all my contacts from the Exchange server, with other contacts on the phone's contact list. However, from the phone's contact
list, I cannot see the Outlook account, I can see only Google, WhatsApp, SIM, device, etc.
Is the Microsoft Outlook app a "normal" phone app like all the other apps with contact lists?

As per the information and details provided by you, to get the Outlook contacts into Android’s contact list, please follow these steps: -
Gmail is an excellent import tool fir contacts exported
in an Outlook CSV form.
Login to
Gmail that is associated with your Android device, go to the
Contacts from drop down menu up left, More > Import function.
This will allow you to choose the CSV file you just got out of Outlook on your computer, and
upload it to Gmail. Here they are – all your Outlook contacts synced with your new
Android device.

Generally setting a common Album title and Album Artist will fix things.
For compilations that aren't, select all tracks, Get Info, and on the option tab set Part of a Compilation to No. If it already says No tick the box alongside, then click OK.

If you have a Mac, create the groups in Address book application.
You can also log into icloud.com and create the groups there. They will sync to your iPad.
