[Urgent]About the report of Business Content 3.1

Hi, everyone here,
    I'm a new fish in BW as well as Business Content. But I'm asked to show one or two reports of BW (SD area) to my boss in this week and the data will be extracted from our R/3 system. So , I think Business Content is the fastest way for me to finish my task.
    The situation is :
    I have installed BW 3.10 with Business Content 3.1 by myself.
    The software components are :
    SAP_BASIS (Release)620    (Level)0011
    SAP_ABA    (Release)620    (Level)0011
    SAP_BW     (Release)620    (Level)0010   (I'm now updating it, the highest level is level 27)
    PI_BASIS     (Release)2002_1_620    (Level)0005
    BI_CONT      (Release)310    (Level)0000
   (BTW, the updating process drives mad.... so much patches, why SAP doesn't provide us with Service Pack like microsoft.....)
   I have defined a source system (R/3) and created the RFC users for both SS and BW.
   Then can anybody tell me a fastest way to build up / show a report for SD via Business Content?

  • Urgent: about the checkbox in OOP ALV report

    Hi Experts,
    I had use OOP method to display my ALV report. In the report I have a checkbox for each line. I had set this check box use below statements:
        gt_fieldcat_record-tabname = 'GT_ISSUE_INT'.
        gt_fieldcat_record-fieldname = 'CHECKBOX'.
        gt_fieldcat_record-checkbox = 'X'.
        gt_fieldcat_record-edit = 'X'.
        APPEND gt_fieldcat_record.
    When I press the save button, then I will save the lines to my Z-table which its GT_ISSUE_INT-CHECKBOX = 'X'.
    Now I click the checkbox to select several lines in my ALV report and then press save, but it do not work. Then I check the internal table GT_ISSUE_INT in debugger, I found the GT_ISSUE_INT-CHECKBOX = ' '. Above statements is not correct for the checkbox?? Or I need additional statements to move 'X' to GT_ISSUE_INT-CHECKBOX?? Please help!!!Thanks.

    If u want to read check box status from list, need to call function module explicitly.
    see the sample code:

          CALL FUNCTION 'GET_GLOBALS_FROM_SLVC_FULLSCR'
            IMPORTING
               E_GRID = ref1.
           call method ref1->check_changed_data.
    loop at GT_ISSUE_INT to workarea.
    ____ continue writing ur code.
    function module read the data from list . and save the changes that made on list.
    when u debug, u can see the check box status as 'X' after exucut\ing this fm and method.

  • Error While Grouping the objects in Business Content

    Hi BW Guru,
    Have u any idea about the following Messages.
    RSA1- Business Content -> Grouping ->Only necessary Object for the INFOCUBE (0SD_C03) in business content for install it is showing message like
    1. InfoObject 0PDCEOBJ is not active in the system and is being deleted
    2. InfoObject 0PDCEPOBJ is not active in the system and is being deleted
    Any suggestion is appreciated.

    Plz tell me.. How could we check the version of the business content installed for ECC 5.0?  I tried to search for the same in the forum but I couldnt.. plz let me know as I doubt that the business content is not properly installed for ECC 5.0 in my PC. and also I see only Technical content for Object Types under Business Content in AWB.

    I am using my ECC 5.0 as BW system as it got BW 3.5.. and I am really trying to see the Business Content Cubes like 0PUR_C01,0PUR_C04 etc... and in RSA1>Business Content> Object Types I could see only the Technical Content cubes..(not able to see the SD,MM..etc related cubes)...
    And yeah I have R/3 PI installed with 2004_1_490 Version.. and so I could see all the Business Content DataSources in the source system...
    Is there one more PI for BW?? or the same as above??

  • Help me about the Report Category !!

    In a ABAP report program's "Attributes", we can set the Logical database (eg. in HR, it's PNP) , and then, we can select the "HR report category", for the report screen category setting.  After we set the Master Data(infotypes), we will get the report with several pushbuttons in the first line, like “Further Selections” "Sort order" ...
    So, my question is if I want to add some items into the "Sort Order" selection screen, how to do that ?

    Hi Tom,
    You can create the report category from SE38-> Attributes and then give the LDB name as PNP.
    Now click on the HR report category button and proceed creating the new report category by clicking the create button.
    The report category name should start with 0* or 7*.

    To print, include "destype=printer,desname=<printer>" in the url.
    The printer has to be accessible form the web server, not from the client.

    1 Report takes  input as  range of materials and shows subtotal of the stock for  each storage location  and grand total  of the stock at the end of each plant .
    2.Goods movement report for production orders:reort dispalys  doods movement by the specified production order  and  can view  material document  clicking on document  number  or by  double click on the desired line...
    3.report that  didsplay the materials  that  go  out-of-stock  only finished goods .
    4.drill down report  for materials  details for totals  and subtotals  for material stock  values  by material group  and  material type ..
    depending  upon the time frame  available..  u  can specify  the  tables  and  fields  that  are   needed for the  4 kinds of  reports....

    Hi,
    1.for the ist one you have to use MARA and MARD tables.
    get matnr from mara table, werks(plants),lgort(storage location)& stock(take appropiate field) from MARD table
    define matnr as select-option.
    first get matnr from mara as per selection-criteria,then use for all entries to get other data from mard table.
    after getting the data move all the data into fiinal int. table,sort the table and use control breaks statements for doing sum as required.
    4. get matnr,mtart,matkl from mara table and stock from mard table.
    get the data as above,move to final int. table,sort it and use control breaks to group and sum the required data.
    Firrst start doing,if u get any problems post it.

  • Report : How to show all the reports in Content Management

    Hi,
      Can anyone tell me how I can show the "Resource Locks" Report in Portal.
      I can see 4 reports through Content Management -> Reports i.e. Approval Maintenance, Link Consistency, Resource Statistics, Time-based publishing.
    If I want to add more reports over here than "How I can achieve it".
      Also I have seen the settings System Administration -> System Configuration -> KM -> CM -> Repository Managers -> Reporting Repository
    But here I find no combo box for Active Reports, so from where I can activate the reports and show them in Content Management -> Reports
    Please help me.

    Deep,
        Are you talkign about the report which give you details of which Portal Objects are currently locked?
       If yes, then you can go to System Adminitrator > Monitoring > Object Locking

    3. Price list
    4. Customer Stat.group
    What I mentioned above fields i need business case explination, but all the above fileds are explaining  about the Price and Statistics about the report. By using F1 Help i can understand but i need business case
    Is there any link between those fields ?

      I am using a business content cube 0PCA_C01 and a report (Business Content) Plan/Actual/Variance.
      But i need to have info on on Profit CenterCost center and cost element.As the cube is business content,only profit center info is loading now.How can I load  Cost center and Cost element  data.
    My question is
    1)     From where I can (In which tables) pick the data from to modify the data source
    2)     As the data source is based on view (ISPCACST),How can I check on which tables this view is developed.

    depends which datasource you are feeding the data with
    If you are using 0EC_PCA_3 then you are doing it via the GLPCA table and a timestamp extarctor
    If you are doign it via the 0EC_PCA_1 in FULL load then you are doing it via the totals tabel GLPCT
    If you are oding it via the 0EC_PCA_1 in delt amode you are actually doing it from GLPCA line items posted to the delta queue in RSA3 that looks the same as the GLPCT table (ie its aggregated in the delta queue)
    In your installation does cost centre = profit centre and does GL account = cost eleemtn
    If they do just add these to the cube and map them from the base data so profit centre in cube gets loaded from profit centre and cost centre in cube gets loaded from cost centre
    Else - then you are in trouble as you dont have the cost centre information on PCA - thats what CCa is for
    An FI document can create a PCA and a CCA document
    A CCA document does not have to exist in PCA or FI (secondary cost postings)
    The reference doc number in PCA dn CCA can be used to poitn to the original FI document - thats where the link is
    If you dont use secondary cost postings - and the profit and cost centres are different why not build a cube of the GL4 datasource? All the data is in there - cost and profit centre
