Urgent: Customized 11i forms, work into R12 - Problem

Hi,
We are running 11i, R12 versions instance.
In that for 11i forms, we are using in R12.
In that one customized form colomn data defination area, has to define some other tables/ views.
We would know the present form colomn 'data defination : query, to modify the particular colomn.
Note: That column has record group as well lov, functions and procedure etc.
Kindly give me the one by one steps,

Oracle alert not working in 11i but working on R12 on same server

Hi Friends,
I have an R12(R12.1.1) Instance and I configured Oracle Alert with the following details
Mail systems : Windows NT Mail
Mail Database/Server Name: server1
Send Mail Account/password : wf/wf
Response Mail Account/password: wf/wf
Enable Response Processing:no
Workflow mailer is working and I tested a sample Oracle Alert and it works fine.I received mail also.
I also have a 11i (11.5.10.2) instance on the same server and i configured the alert options exactly as i did for R12 and the workflow mailer is also running but the alert is throwing error:
APP-ALR-04124: Oracle Alert was unable to deliver your message
To <mail id>
Apps Version : 11.5.10.2(Default Installation,No patches applied)
Server OS : Red Hat Linux ES 4.4
Mail server : Exchange 5.5 on windows
Both the instances are on the same server.
what is the change needs to be done on 11i compared with R12(R12.1.1)which is working fine.

Urgent--custom servlet not working with https/gateway of the portal server

We have created the custom servlet to add some more authentication to the login screen. I have explained detaildely below.
We have set if password reset change password screen should come by using identity server.
First screen comes which asks �user id� and �password�.
after this next screen comes with �old password�, �New Password� and �Confirm Password� (as we have forcefully asked user to change password after reset by using identity server ).
On this page we have added two new filed �Date of Birth� and �Date of Joining�.
And we are forcefully transferring request to our Custom Servlet which will validate the �Date of Birth� and �Date of Joining� from the database and submit the same a form as required by Login Servlet to validate the default parameters �old Password�, �New Password� and �Confirm Password� (which is the default validation without adding custom Servlet).
This whole process is working with �http� protocol and giving �unable to connect� host with �https� protocol.
Without custom Servlet process is like this, which is working
Login (usrid, password) � Login (Old Password, New Password, Confirm Password) � Portal home Page
With custom Servlet , Which is not working with �https� Protocol. we are getting the message "Authentication Failed" screen.
Login (usrid, password) --> Login (Old Password, New Password, Confirm Password , Date of Birth, Date of Joinig) --> Custom Servlet validate Date of Birth, Date of Joining --> Login (Old password, new Password, Confirm Password) --> Protal Home Page
This one works with http, whereas this one gives the "Authentication Failed" screen with the https.
Please let me know if anybody have implemented this and help me to resolve the issue.

Problems with custom search form in adf

I am using JDeveloper 11.1.2.4. please can you help with this issue?
I've created a custom search form with the help from this link.
Jdeveloper,Oracle ADF &amp; Java: Implementing custom search form in ADF programmatically (Without using af:query)
I've created two bind variables SkuBind & ImperfectBind and a View Criteria.
My problem is when I press Search button, it does not filter based on values of the bind variables in the View Criteria.
I rightly get bind variable values in the System output though
Skubind = 1000
Imperfectbind = N
but there is no where clause

Not clear what part of the code doesn't work. Assuming that you did check that the code you wrote executed
the problem may be the following.
You need to add partial trigger on the destination component.
Add ...
oddShoeVo.executeQuery();
AdfFacesContext.getCurrentInstance().addPartialTarget(HERE_THE_BIND_NAME_OF_YOUR_TABLE);
Also I don't see that you acctually use View Criteria. There are specific way to apply View Criteria programatically and I don't see that you use it.
The simpliest way is just to change the VO query to embed bind variables into the query
E.G.
select 1
from dual
where some_column= :P_PARAM1

Customer Visible in Sales Order Screen.But not visible in the customer Web form in R12

Hi all,
I have created a customer of organization type using the customer API.I have also created a location and a customer account and account site as well
The created values are loaded into the HZ tables and are visible in the tables such as hz_parties, hz_party_sites, hz_party_sits and so on.
But the issue is that I cannot find the customer in the customer web form in the receivables.but at the same time it is visible in the sales order screen in the order management.
so please, someone help me resolve this issue.

Urgent:-Values are not inserted into the custom table

Hi, I am inserting the data from the custom OAF form into a custom table. Only the WHO columns are populated into the table but no field value is populated into the custom table. I have written the following code -

Custom Oaf form inserting blank records into custom table

Hi all,
I have developed custom OAF form to insert vendor details mapped to custom table.
Oaf form is working fine without giving any error.
In back end blank records is inserting into the custom table i.e. only WHO columns (creation_Date, created_by, last_update_login etc.) values are populating correctly but the
data which i am entering in OAF form is not populating into the table.

Buttons not works into xml forms

Hellow,
I have created some custom XML forms . However, the buttons on the editor (hyperlink, text size etc) dont work. I Have created 2 types of buttons, one type is a button standard of xml forms builder. And the second type is a button created with html code.
My problem is that only one of these types works at the same time.
Some body knows how i can solve the problem??

If you have metalink access check out Note:357545.1 it describes the behavior you are seeing, this is caused by Microsoft's IE way of handling embedded objects, the embedded objects will no longer be activated automatically, instead they will require a user interaction like a "click", this is why you have to click twice.
Just like Gerd have said above, this will only appear if you are using "seperateframe=false"

Custom Tabular Form with working days by quarter

Hi All, I'm trying to create an application to improve an old excel that some people use in my office. I came across a challenge: create a page when a user can submit for each business day the amount of hours worked, the real problem is that I have to show on the same page 40 business days that need to be dynamic, I mean that there is a "period" table that has a start date and end date, the range between those two MINUS the Saturdays and Sundays should be the amount of COLUMNS that the report show.

Problem getting custom workflow to work with BPEL Worklist

I am currently working through the DocumentReviewWorklow custom workflow example in the Oracle Content Services 10g Custom Workflows document and cannot get the workflow to prompt approvers through the BPEL Worklist application that an action must be taken.
When I run the workflow, the process gets to the point of calling the TaskActionHandler and the approver is told that a process is pending their approval in the Content Services Console.
The following appears in the BPEL Process Manager when I Audit the workflow:

After a period of time, the workflow eventually times-out because it is neither approved or disapproved. I have got the other non-blocking custom workflow examples to work without any problems.

Despite the fact that the approver's username is in the Oracle Collabortion Suite OID as all lower case letters (and you can still login to worklist with lower case letters), you were right in saying that you have to use all upper case letters when logging into the worklist application in order to see the pending tasks.
Just out of curiousity, do you have any idea why worklist requires upper case letters for the username?

Nothing seems to have helped the situation.

Are you sure it was error 0604 since I never heard of that error, it does not appear in the list of errors in the following and a search of Apple's support site gets no hits. However, error 1604 is list and users have reported that error number. If 1604 is the error number the following tell yu wnat to do when you click on that error number:

How to import 11i JDeveloper into R12 JDeveloper

I had develop a java page program with JDeveloper fro Apps 11i, normal if I want to re-import the program, I can just create the workspace, project and then opne the server.xml. It did not work for R12 version. I try to create a new workspace and project and points to the source directory but the java program can't be imported. Does anyone knows how to import it? Thanks in advance.

The basic way to import code is to use the "New->Projects->Project from existing code" or "project from WAR" dialogs to create your project.
You then need to do some tweaking in the project properties->Content (and sub nodes such as resources and Web content).
And also set the correct JARs/Libraries in the project properties.
You can use the help->check for update to download the extension to JDeveloper that will let you integrate with Clearcase to do version management.
