URGENT need reply asap, PLEASE

Hello,
I need to know if and where if it does that MS shows or has any posting that says that after a critical update you are forced to within 24hours reboot.. I have yet to find squat on this however it is being pushed in an issue. I would appreciate any information.
I know it says it requires a reboot however I need to know where it says after 24 hours it will reboot them. Can I get someone to answer this as soon as possible..

You probably have the "Delay Restart for scheduled installations" configured as a group policy or registry settings on the clients. There is no mandatory 24 hour restart as far as I am aware so it will be something local to your setup.
Certainly a review of your Windows Updates options would be the best place to start.

Try resetting it while it is connected to power: Hold down the home and sleep button, wait for the Apple logo, let go of the buttons. It is connected to a wall charger?

URGENT! need help ASAP please!

Hi, I've created a site in Flash, put the swf file into an
html file using Dreamweaver CS3, uploaded it to my host
(123-reg.co.uk). The url is
http://www.simpson-house.org
and you can see in the source file that it's all there. The file
plays in Dreamweaver, when I test it in Browsers etc. I have all
the folders in the right places (The paths are all correct for the
links etc), but the uploaded swf will not play. I'm tearing my hair
out. Is it to do with the fact I exported the swf to use Flash
Player 9? I have Firefox 3 and Safari.
Please Help as the people who paid me to do this are
expecting it up today.

Ink cartridges stuck, need help asap please

Hello a I am writint this because I need help!! I keep getting a message in error on my Macbook Pro about my Photsmart 6520 is jammed and it says to check to see if any obstructions are bloacking it. Hoever this is like the 20th time that I check inside the printer over and over again. I make sure everything is in order, however when I turn the printer back on it will say the same thing and I keep trying to get it to work, but it won't!!! I just got the printer the day before yesterday and I caanot fix it, please help it is urgent.

OK So i have a HP Deskjet F2180
I just recently bought new cartridges for it, and the refuse point blank to work!!
ive taken every measure to fix the problem through HPs help sites but NOTHING is working. I think theirs a problem with both cartridges

Hi - Try the steps in this document. Specifically, go to the "Check Cartridge Light is Blinking", click on "Solutions". The doc will walk you through cleaning the contacts on both the cartridges and the carriage.

BBM icon missing after update. need help asap please

Hi I'm using a bb bold 9780 and my bbm is 5.0.1.45 and when I tried updating it, it hangs whenever it finishes installing. And when I tired a battery pull, my bbm icon goes missing. Any idea how to solve this issue? Could really need some help here cos its quite impt. Thank you in advance

When you get a chance, do a battery pull. When the red light goes away on the front of the phone, hold down the back button the entire time while the phone is booting up. When the boot is complete, the phone will enter safe mode.

Try to delete it from there and do another battery pull / reinstall.

LiveCycle won't load... need assistance ASAP please

I'm working on a form for a staffing company's tiem sheet. I've used LiveCycle in the past atr otehr jobs, but never launched my own copy through my Acrobat Professional until recently, and it doesn't work. I've tried repairing the install and even did a fresh install/re-registering the product, and it still won't launch.
I get the following error messages:
"Acrobat cannot start Adobe LiveCycle Designer. You may need to repair or reinstall the application using the original installation program."
or when launching LiveCycle directly from my programs:
"The application or DLL C:\\WINDOWS\\WinSxS\x86_MicrosoftVC80.IvFC_1fc8b3b9a1e18e3b_8.0.50727.4053_x-ww_b77cec8e\ MFC80U.DLL is not a valid Windows image. Please check this against your installation diskette."
Like I said, I've repaired and reinstalled the program a number of times already with no luck. If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated.

I got this error also, and found out that this props up when
You have SQLServer or SqlServer Express intalled on your local machine. Uninstall Sqlserver and Livecycle will load. At our company we use, SQLserver off the Server anyway, so my desktop only has SQLServer management Studio and thats fine for me

Need Help ASAP Please

My friend jailbroke my iPad a couple of months ago and then recently apple came out with the new update 4.3.3 and then i wanted to update my ipad so i did so. It then stoped and i let it contuine for a couple of hours and when i came back to check up on it it was still the same. So i unplugged it from my Mac and then restared itunes, relized that itunes needed to be updated and i updated it. Proceeded to update my ipad and then it did the same thing. I then put it into DFU mode and then updated it, still did not work. I have done so about 5 times and has done the same thing over and over again. I am worried that i wont ever get my Ipad (1) to properly function again. Can someone please help me or give me adivice on how to get my ipad working again.

If you can't successfully restore with the iPad in recovery mode, it's quite possible that the jailbreak has caused permanent damage. Sorry, but we cannot help with jailbroken iPads here in Apple's forums.

I am trying to submitt an NIH Grant. They say the problem is that my abobe security settings are too stringent. I cannt find out how to change them, I type 'alt' and no menu bar comes up that says 'edit'/.

thanks Claudio, the problem was in the security settings, in version XI. the NIH knew all about the problem, and helped me figure out how to turn them off.
we didn't have this problem with version X, so I guess its the price we pay for upgrades.

Windows 7 and Bonjour--Printer issue--Need Help ASAP, Please!

Okay, add my name to the growing list of people with Windows 7 issues. (Actually, add my wife's name. I have a Mac, and I'm glad I do.)
Anyway--she has a new HP laptop with Windows 7 preloaded. We use Airport Express as a wireless router for our 5 year old HP PSC 1350 all in one printer, requiring the use of Bonjour 1.0.6 on her new laptop to print wirelessly. Except it is only printing about 2/3's of a page and quitting. This also fouls up the printing que, meaning nothing else will print on her unit. (I have not tried printing from the Mac while her HP is AFU.)
How do I rectify this, other than taking her HP back and getting the Mac she'd be happier with?
Any and all help would be greatly appreciated, as she's in school and needs to print a lot of papers.

There has been no satisfactory answer to this. So, no, my question isn't really answered.
Instead, we bought a new wireless printer, and I removed Bonjour and AirPort from her Windoze 7 unit.
I'm not so thrilled, but she's happy. And if she's happy, it's okay.

So i play on a game on here called clash of the clans my 4 y/o daughter loves ot and i let her play un supervised but she decided to shop n click on buy stuff but she dont my password and it was not entered ot now cost me around 150 pounds is there any way i can get this back as the pasword for the app was not entered so should of never went through please help me

That is the only choice you have to get in touch with iTunes support. They usually will answer an email within 24 hours. I'm not sure of their policy for in-app purchases, but I know that normal purchases in the App Store of iTunes is all sales are final. However, if you relate your story to them, it could make a difference. I suggest that you set restrictions on and restrict in-app purchases if you are going to allow a child to use the device.

Okay where to start... we have had our BT Line in for over a week now and have all connected to it as our engineer told us its connected and ready to use... our phone works but our broadband hasnt been connected!! I need the broadband for work so expected it to be ready to use as the engineer said!!
After 2 days we started to call BT... that was the biggest waste of my time as when we eventually got through to a human after the automated messages and robots we were told it would be connected the following day! and as you can guess this hasnt happened after calling them EVERY DAY!!! If this problem is not resolved by the start of the week I will be leaving and joining SKY!!!

The business/residential line question is an interesting one as it depends on what BT actually means both when they originally came up with the definitions and now in the 21st century when we work in so many different ways.
We are a family of 6 with 2 Visionboxes, 4 laptops, 2 PCs, smart phones and of course use of the landline and so as far as I am concerned it is residential set up.
My employer allows me to work from home ~2 days per week and I use my Infinity service and a VPN to connect. The council, tax man and insurance companies are all happy that there are no implications for the services I have from them and I am not penalised in any way.
A recent report by Leicester University stated
.5% of UK workforce was working "mainly" at home - 133,000 people
3.5% of the workforce worked "partially" at home, i.e. at least one day per week - 932,000 people
22% reported working "sometimes" at home - 5,585,000 people
and you would presume that a vast majority would use their phone line either for speech or data; thus if BT were to interpret this as them all needing business lines the push back would be vast!
