OK, so you are writing the file with UTL_FILE. How long is the whole process taking. Have you timed the time taken to generate the temp_clob with the result Vs the time to write the output to a file.

There is a JSP file which invokes the method of BPM, which inturn creates a excel file.
In JSP we are calling the method in the following way:
function exportSelectedItemsToExcel(){
var url="<f:invokeUrl var='reportingView' methodName='exportToExcel'/>";
url = url + "&bpmRespContentType=application/vnd.ms-excel";
var windowHandle = window.open(url,'windowName','width=800, height=600, resizable=1, menubar=1');
POI jars are used to create the excel.
Also we recently did the migration and applied a patchset of 10.3.3 on 10.3.2. In the previous verison(10.3.2) it was working perfectly fine. When i am trying to test it on localstudio, it is generating the excel file properly.
Have any one faced any such issues while migration or any other time?Manifests are saved with the .mf file extension. Rename your manifest mainfest.mf.

Depending on the object "myLastFile", the method openDlg might not even exist (if the myLastFile object is not a File object, for instance). And I do not see any need for the myLastFile anyhow, as you are presenting a dialog to select a file to open. I recommend using the global ChooseFile( ) method instead. This will give you a filename as string in full path notation, or null when no file was selected in the dialog. I am not sure what your ExtendScript documentation states about the return value for ChooseFile, but if that differs from what I am telling you here, the documentation is wrong. So, if you replace the first lines of your code with the following it should work:
function openXMLFile ( ) {
var filename = ChooseFile ( "Choose XML file ...", "", "*.xml", Constants.FV_ChooseSelect );
While writing this, I see that Russ has already given you the same advice. Use the symbolic constant value I indicated to use the ChooseFile dialog to select a single file (it can also be used to select a directory or open a file - but you want to control the opening process yourself). Note that this method allows you to set a start directory for the dialog (second parameter). The ESTK autocompletion also gives you a fifth parameter "helplink" which is undocumented and can safely be ignored.
Good luck

Error while creating an EAR file in 7.1 version
Hi All,
While developing an Adapter module in PI 7.1 version, facing a problem while creating an EAR file.
Using NWDS 7.1 version
1) Have developed the code compatible to 7.1 version changes which is not throwing any error while compilation
2) Have given the jndi info in ejb-j2ee-engine.xml
3) Also entered info in ejb-jar.xml like
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<ejb-jar xmlns="http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/j2ee" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" id="ejb-jar_ID"
version="2.1" xsi:schemaLocation="http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/j2ee
http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/j2ee/ejb-jar_2_1.xsd">

<session-type>Stateless</session-type>
<transaction-type>Container</transaction-type>
</session>
</enterprise-beans>
</ejb-jar>
Then have clicked on Build project. Its throwing the following error
Bean Interfaces: Stateless Bean "Encryption" should have atleast one of the following interface pairs: "local" and "localhome", "home" and "remote" or service endpoint interface
Bean Interfaces: The home interface "com.sap.aii.af.lib.mp.module.ModuleHome" cannot be found in the search path
Bean Interfaces: The local home interface "com.sap.aii.af.lib.mp.module.ModuleLocalHome" cannot be found in the search path
Bean Interfaces: The local interface "com.sap.aii.af.lib.mp.module.ModuleLocal" cannot be found in the search path
Bean Interfaces: The remote interface "com.sap.aii.af.lib.mp.module.ModuleRemote" cannot be found in the search path
Also I have included the below code in the class file
@ejbHome <{com.sap.aii.af.lib.mp.module.ModuleHome}>
@ejbLocal <{com.sap.aii.af.lib.mp.module.ModuleLocal}>
@ejbLocalHome <{com.sap.aii.af.lib.mp.module.ModuleLocalHome}>
@ejbRemote <{com.sap.aii.af.lib.mp.module.ModuleRemote}>
@stateless
Request to give suggestions to resolve the above problem.
Thanks in advance.
GaneshThis is what I was looking for: http://maveninjdeveloper.blogspot.com/2012/04/handle-adf-application-maven-ant.html
It further references:
- http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E24382_01/user.1112/e17455/deploying_apps.htm#BACIIDEJ
- http://javaosdev.blogspot.in/2011/12/ojdeploy-documentation-for-tool.html
The only issue now is that Oracle JDeveloper release 11.1.2.2.0 (version being used) does NOT seem to support Ant while release 11.1.2.1.0 does. This necessitates a further kluge to make things work. The amount of difference between versions of JDeveloper is quite amazing. -
Issue in Creation of XML file from ABAP data
Hi,
I need to create a XML file, but am not facing some issues in creation of XML file, the in the required format.
The required format is
-<Header1 1st field= u201CValueu201D 2nd field= u201CValueu201D>
- <Header2 1st field= u201CValueu201D 2nd field= u201CValueu201Du2026u2026. Upto 10 fields>
<Header3 1st field= u201CValueu201D 2nd field= u201CValueu201Du2026u2026. Upto 6 fields/>
<Header4 1st field= u201CValueu201D 2nd field= u201CValueu201Du2026u2026. Upto 4 fields/.>
<Header5 1st field= u201CValueu201D 2nd field= u201CValueu201Du2026u2026. Upto 6 fields/>
</Header2>
</Header1>
Iu2019m using the call transformation to convert ABAP data to XML file.
So please anybody can help how to define XML structure in transaction XSLT_TOOL.
And one more thing, here I need to put the condition to display the Header 3, Header 4, Header 5 values. If there is no record for a particular line item in header 3, 4 & 5, I donu2019t want to display full line items; this is only for Header 3, 4 & 5.
Please help me in this to get it resolved.Hello,
you can use CALL TRANSFORMATION id, which will create a exact "print" of the ABAP data into the XML.
If you need to change the structure of XML, you can alter your ABAP structure to match the requirements.
Of course you can create your own XSLT but that is not that easy to describe and nobody will do that for you around here. If you would like to start with XSLT, you´d better start the search.

Need help Take out the null values from the ResultSet and Create a XML file
hi,
I wrote something which connects to Database and gets the ResultSet. From that ResultSet I am creating
a XML file. IN my program these are the main two classes Frame1 and ResultSetToXML. ResultSetToXML which
takes ResultSet & Boolean value in its constructor. I am passing the ResultSet and Boolean value
from Frame1 class. I am passing the boolean value to get the null values from the ResultSet and then add those
null values to XML File. When i run the program it works alright and adds the null and not null values to
the file. But when i pass the boolean value to take out the null values it would not take it out and adds
the null and not null values.
Please look at the code i am posing. I am showing step by step where its not adding the null values.
Any help is always appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Error while Importing ResourceObject xml file in Deployment Manager
Hi Everyone,
I am getting this error while doing Import of HRPeopleSoftResourceObjects.xml ( A Resource Object xml file) in Deployment Manager. I am doing this step for Authoritative(Trusted Source) Reconciliation.
Error Says:- Attribute not present in EntityDefination of User :: ExpectedReturnDate.
ExpectedReturnDate is a UDF (Customize) field. I did Metadata and Sandbox import for this field to create this attribute in OIM. I can see this attribute on User Details screen as well as in User Table in OIM. So, ideally this error should not popup. I have to do this import for Reconciliation.
I pulled and checked all the xml files like(UserEO.xml.xml, userEO.xml.xml, userVO.xml, UserVO.xml.xml) from oracle.iam.console.identity.self-service.ear_V2.0_metadata1 and found ExpectedReturnDate field is available.
I am using: OIM Version - Oracle 11g Release 2
Database version - 11.2.0
Weblogic version - 10.3
Please let me know how to resolve this error.
Appreciate your response and support!
Warm Regards
Vijay KumarAppreciate your response Kevin!
I saw your response today. What you have suggested in your post make perfect sense to me.
Yesterday, I was able to create Reconciliation profile successfully. No idea how it worked so, didn't updated my post.
I tried to re-import the UDF, noticed ExpectedReturnDate attribute has little icon in fornt of it on deployment manager screen which says on mouse over "new field". No idea why as I didn't delete it from anywhere, perhaps it didn't get imported properly previously. I stepped ahead and clicked the import button on deployment manager but failed as it was throwing an exception which says udf_usr_expectedReturnDate is available in usr table. That makes sense to me as this column got created in usr table in OIM because of previous import and I didn't delete it either. This raised couple of doubts more as, along with this attribute there were other attributes in the same metadata xml file which were part of previous import and their respective columns were already created in usr table. Then why message poped-up for this field in particular? Anyway I went ahead with the import process.
Now I stopped all the server (Admin, SOA and OIM) and restarted them again and performed the same steps as mentioned above and this time it worked as expected. UDF file got imported successfully.
After this I went to Design Console verified all the fields and created the Reconciliation Profile. I checked OIM database and found RA_ProfileName recon tables got created.
As per your comment, Today I checked the RECON_USER_OLDSTATE table but this table is empty.
Still I have couple of doubts, if Reconciliation Profile got created it should create the xml file under metadata direcectory(in my case path should be: /apps/Oracle/Middleware/Oracle_IDM1/server/metadata/db). Please correct me if I am wrong? I hope it should be physical file not a logical file.
Once again thanks for your response!
Warm Regards

Edited by: user11263665 on Apr 25, 2012 10:38 PMWe faced the same problem when migrating from 2007 to ATG 10.0.3. The reason this error comes up is because the Search depends on a local customization adapter /atg/searchadmin/adapter/customization/LocalCustomizationDataAdapter which adds English as a language in the text processing options.
After the migration you need to import the initial ATG search related data into your Search schema. These instructions have been mentioned in the ATG install guide. Here is the extract from the docs.
Note: The import scripts import data using startSQLRepository. Make sure your JTDataSource and
FakeXADatasource are configured to permit this in home/localconfig. JTDataSource should automatically
point to FakeXADataSource. FakeXADataSource should point to the administration database, and
FaxeXADataSource_production should point to the production database. Note that some product
installation processes, including Oracle ATG Web Knowledge Manager Self Service, need FakeXADataSource
pointed at the production database, so you may need to change the FakeXADataSource between installations.
once you are done with the configurations above, import only the searchadmindata xml into search schema as this imports the LocalCustomizationDataAdapter config information into your search schema. Once this is done, you should be good to index.
<ATG10dir>\home\bin\startSQLRepository.bat|sh -m SearchAdmin.AdminUI
-repository /atg/searchadmin/SearchAdminRepository -import
<ATG10dir>\Search10.1\SearchAdmin\common\data\initial\searchadmindata.

Hi, I am facing an issue while creating a new web part page (Safeunit.aspx) within a folder (Safematic Seal Support Systems) located under a Document Library (Product Information Documents).
The path I am explaining:
Going to the Document Library (Product Information Documents) --> now inside that, clicking on a folder (Wet Seal Support
Systems) --> now inside the folder clicking on another sub-folder (Safematic Seal Support Systems) --> Here I want the web page Safeunit.aspx
Issue is that when I reach to the required destination, and want to create the web page by clicking on 'Site Action' --> 'Create' --> 'Web Part Page', now while selecting the Document Library name from the drop-down list, I do use 'Product
Information Documents' since the folder is inside this library only; but that create the page directly under the 'Product Information Documents' library, not under the sub-folder (Safematic Seal
Support Systems).
FYI, it is SP2007 version.
Kindly assist in this. Thanks in advance.I see that you have the namespaces reference in your code.
I think you have changed the NameSpace name of your code to CreateSPFolder, change the reference in all your manifest, and other files to point to the current namespace name. It should help.
Hope this helps!

Hi all, i'm new to Mac book & Xcode. I'm learning and facing problems while creating a new file for Xcode. Before i upgrade the software, i have no issue to create simple steps in apps. After upgrade Xcode to 4.6 version, i'm facing lot's of issue eg.

2) can't select the box "with XIB for user interface" if the subclass is "UIViewController"..
Appreciate for any help rendered.Mikko777 wrote:So what is the best?
I wouldn't judge. I've been to Arch for a week, you know? But as said, it's VERY close to it.
What I dislike after a week is makepkg not handling dependencies automatically (which would be overhead, so probably not appropriate).
Mikko777 wrote:Also theres KDEmod for modular kde, dunno if its for 64 bits tho.
Don't actually need that as said ... I see no real benefit of having that other than not beeing a KDE user or having Gentoos useflags.
