Urgent requirement in format change....pls help

Hi experts,
I have a urgent requirement of changing the format according to the customer where the form will be sent. The fields that I need to change are date and currency formats.
Only the customer name his country and region is mentioned and I am working with smartform.I had to retrieve the format according to the details given above.
Can anyoneplease help me out regarding the query.

how many formats u have to print... if have difine number of formatas
you can do as foollows.
1.create a folw login before printing the data time... therer move the date and time to different variables using the WRITE TO statement.. then print the variables.
2. create different textelemnt for differnt type of customes.. in each textelment contatins differnet format to printed.. in conditons tab of the textelemt give the condition to print..

Mileage Reimbursement rate for car needs to be changed -Pls help!!

Hello Gurus,
Currently I am working for european end markets for T&E module.
Iam facing a problem that:
I need to change the mileage reimbursement rate has changed for Belgium.
The mileage rate for Belgium needs to be changed for comp codes (BL01 and BL02) the new rate needs to be 0.2940eur/KM for own car mileage claims.
Since, i am new to payroll area, can some one pls help me.. where we track such changes? Is it done under payroll?

SSD in optical bay - unable to write/format! Pls help!

About one year ago, I swapped my macbook pro 17" HD for an SSD, then formatted the original HD, and placed it into the optical bay to use as a secondary drive. Although this has worked well and my applications have been booting blazing fast, I was recently told that having the SSD as a secondary drive and applications on the standard HD (in other words, the opposite of what i have now) would help video editing speeds (given that the video files would be on the SSD drive).
So now I cloned the SSD back onto an HD, swapped the two so that the HD is now in the original slot and the SSD in the optical bay. The computer starts fine and all, but the SSD drive will not let me write anything to it. When I try to add a file to it, I get:

I then tried erasing the drive using disk utility but got this:
Finally, I removed the drive from the optical bay, mounted it externally with a firewire g-drive mobile, and formatted with disk utility. I then mounted it back into the optical bay and Im getting the same issue.
Everything works well and the SSD shows up on the desktop, etc, but I just can't write any files to it. How do I fix this?

I've researched this a bit and Ive read something along these lines in several places:
The optibay is limited to SATA II. The general consensus on this forum is to move the SSD to the primary bay and the HDD to the optibay.
Could that be the problem? If I swap the HD and SSD around, would it solve the problem?

Created a nice flyer in Pages, but printed requires CMKY format...help

I have created a flyer in pages and was about to send to the printers when i discovered they insist on CMYK format with 250dpi.
If i export the flyer from Pages to PDF it seems to create an RGB file, which is the wrong format.
does anyone know how i can sort this and get the correct dpi?

Unfortunately OSX's level 1.3 .pdf export does not support transparency, has a 72dpi rasterisation setting and muddles the PDF-X specification.
There is also no bleed, trim box, crops, slugs, spreads, spot colors etc that you normally require.
You can try and edit the ColorSync filter responsible. I have been partially successful at that but not to the 100% solution that would have me at all recommend using it.
This is the "inconvenient truth" of the "platform built for designers" that hasn't been for nearly 10 years now. Apple does not even warn its customers. Its staff and marketing in fact do exactly the opposite and encourage them to believe it is all easy and just works.
All you can do is avoid Apple's "solution".

Tried to connect ipod to sound system via USB and asked to format. Pls Help

I have tried to connect my ipod to the dvd system via USB port. It asked me to format the ipod and i pressed yes and than instantly plugged the ipod out [realized what i did]. anyway the meessage on the scereen was that I had to connect it to the pc and itunes to resolve the problem. When i connected Itunes asked me to restore it. I know that if i restore than i will lose all my music. Is there is any other way to fix it?

Restoration is relatively simplistic. Here's whatcha do. Plug your ipad in, open itunes, now if itunes doesn't recognize it then you may have a problem, anywho, click on the ipad in the devices interface and go to the info tab, click restore, and it'll be just like it was when it left the factory. To get you data back, it should ask if you would like to use a backup, just select the backup you want and you'll be good to go. That is if you regularly backed up your iPad.

You can do as suggested already and use interface nodes and cross component mapping; but that is all really not necessary. It creates a situation where you calling application is too dependent upon the freely programmed input help. You want to try to avoid the situation where the calling application needs code or mappings to communicate with the input help.
That is easy to do because the framework passes all the information you need into the freely programmed input help via the value_help_listener object.
Part of the Freeley Programmed Input Help Component should be the component interface IWD_VALUE_HELP. This comes with a component controller method called SET_VALUE_HELP_LISTENER. This allows your freely programmed value help to capture this object called listener of type IF_WD_VALUE_HELP_LISTENER. I generally just store it awa into a component controller attribute.
With this listerner object you have direct access to the context attribute in the calling component. You can query information about the calling UI element and of course set values directly back into it. The listener is a hugely helpful object and should be the way you interact with the calling component whenever possible. Here is small example:

Data Format Problem Pls Help Me

Hai,
I try to insert the date values in the following format the error is occurred,
insert statement:
insert into temp values (to_date(?,'YYYY/MM/DD'))
prepstat_insert.setString(1, end_date);
Already the date values are stored in the following format
2005-05-21 16:12:37
The actual Error is
" invalid value for DATE, TIME or TIMESTAMP field "

Try setting Date instead of a string. To do that Convert your String to a java.util.Date Object, Convert this to java.sql.Data object and on your prepared statement do a setDate(SQLDateObj) instead of String.
P.S: Assuming that your column type in the DB is of type Date and not varchar2

Requirement :
1. The report should list all the CFU projects and the corresponding CU projects circle wise based on the circles entered on the selection screen and which have the SPR ids and Project status on the selection screen.
2. If SPR id or Project status is not entered then all the projects to be considered for the given circle/s.
3. It should display the details of the CFU project first. The corresponding CU projects should be listed below that CFU project in the successive rows.
4. For example, project 1232007 is a CFU project which does not have any CU under it. Hence, another CFU project 1242007 is displayed in the second row. It has 2 CU projects under it. The details of those two CU projects are displayed in the 3rd and 4th rows.
5. Total share given to the CU circle (by adding different PO shares to that circle in that project) by the CFU project should be displayed in the field CU-PO Share.
6. For CU projects, the fields Delegation Status, No. of CU projects and CU-PO share should be space.
7. FLCB, FLCL ID, FLCL name and FLCL email need to given for all the projects in all the rows.

Very Urgent Pls help : Change of payload type to user-defined types

Hello Experts
I was using sys.xml_type as payload type in my queue table creation.
consider xml message

<id>1</id>
<load rerer="mq" erere='gg" > </load>
</order>
This i inserted into queue table using enqueue process.
this is done.
BUT NOW My manager wants to change the payload type.
he created a type
create or replace type systype as object (msg varchar2(4000));
Now payload type of queue table is changed to
PayloadType==>aq.systype.
Pls help me how can i insert xml messages into this queue table.
This is very urgent. Pls help me

I've just read this thread three times and I have absolutely no idea what you are doing, in what version, and what you are asking for help with.
Do you want to change the message type? If you do you MUST drop the queue and start over again from the beginning.
Do you want to enqueue messages?
Post your DDL and other relevant information or you are on your own. We can not guess at your issue.
