Urgent : Web Forms problem

I deployed my application on Web using
Developer Server 6.0
OAS 4.07
Jinitiator 1.1.7.18
Browser Netscape 4.7
Problem : When Iam trying to signon to the system by mistake if I type the wrong passowrd it gives an error message like "Username or Passord not Correct" after that if I enter the correct password also it wont respond .Now Ihave to close the whole application and I have to reopen it.Same thing with all the forms . Iam using "Raise form_trigger_failure" exception along with the error message.
It was working fine in Client Server environment.
Please let me know if you have any ideas

Hello Yuri,
have you setup the web dispatcher profile with the command:
sapwebdisp -bootstrap
? It would have tested the connection to the message server. I think the message server port is wrong. If your instance numer is 02 then the default HTTP message server port is 8102 and not 3602. 3602 is the port of the SAP own protocol.

Urgent web service problem. can not find url of WSDL

Hi all,
I met a web service problem recently.
1 I have set up a web service and reside it on Java System Application server9.0. But there's a bug of this web server, which will stop after the user log off the server. I have installed the Application server as a windows service. It suppose to run all the time. I don't know why the server stop after I log off.
2 For that reason, I tried to migrant my web service from the java application server to Tomcat5.5. I deployed my web service to folder webApps. But I don't know the WSDL url of the web service, which is the web reference for my frent-end c#.net application.
Anybody can give me some idea?

Muse CC 2014 contact web forms problems

Hi I recently created a website using muse cc 2014 and I uploaded it to the hosting server a free one at freehosting.com I set up everything I know of and when I uploaded the site using muse it gave a error message saying something about PHP mail??? I setup the mail account for my admin user and entered that in the muse contact form. If I test the contact form I do not get the messages and I even added a email to have it forwarded to my yahoo account. If I go in my email account and enter the hosting email account I however do see the message on the server's webmail page and it gets forwarded to the email I set to be the forward email. I checked everything and I'm really confused as what needs to be done. I also submitted a ticket asking customer service they have yet to respond. To note I'm using a free hosting company as it's just a personal website that I don't need all the fancy stuff just the basic needed components to make it work. my website does show up and the pages work EXCEPT the contact form which is needed and important. I ran the script and this is the results

What would be the fix or proper setup for the "SQL configuration problem?" I too am having form problems on a third party host, and after checking the PHP diagnostics, the "php version" reads ok, the "mail configuration" is ok, but the SQL configuration is not.
I guess I just need to know what I need to communicate to the hosting administrator about the SQL so they will configure it properly.

on NT 4.0 with service Pack 3

URGENT - Multi-form problem

Would be great if anyone could help me with this:
Say I have two forms A and B, A has a repeating timer
which, when fires, will GO_FORM to B and B's WHEN-WINDOW-
ACTIVATED should fire and do stuff. Problem is if
the focus is already on form B at the beginning,
form A's timer expires but form B's WHEN-WINDOW-
ACTIVATED trigger doesn't fire as it IS already the
active window of the two at the time of the timer
expiration. So the stuff in B's WHEN-WINDOW-ACTIVATED
won't execute when I want it to.
Any workaround? I need a solution to this urgently.

and what makes me wonder is that looks like the focus
did temporarily switch to form A in the background,
confirmed by a check of the :SYSTEM.CURRENT_FORM and
CURSOR_ITEM etc in the WHEN-TIMER-EXPIRED trigger. But
still, if I GO_FORM back to form B, form B's WHEN-WINDOW-
ACTIVATED just won't fire.
Buggy WHEN-WINDOW-ACTIVATED trigger? Or misused?
Please, anyone? By the way, form B is launched from
a button in form A, just in case if that makes a diff.

Help Needed in resolving problems with Hyperion Planning Web Forms

Hi,Can anyone help me with this problem?Problem:We are running Planning 2.3.1 I have created Webform & security(application owner has the ownership).Somehow Iam getting only 7 dimensions into webform & 1 dimension is missing in that. But whereas 8 dimensions are there in Essbase.Hsp_Rates dimension is available in essbase outline but Iam unable to see that dimension in the webform selection.And using the webform Iam unable to load any data ...the form is graded/protected.Is this happening because i dont have the requirement of 1 member from each Dimension?Please someone let me know why this is happening what might be the reason.ThanksUser

Hi,The dimension Hsp_Rates is a hide dimension used by Planning to store the exchange rates for the differentes exchanges.All the standard information is stored on HSP_InputValue member (in this dimension).When you create a web form, Planning automatically asign this member (but don't show it).Probably you can't load data because you are selected on Version dimension a Standard Botton Up version, and you only can load data on level 0 members in this type of version.If you want to load data on upper level members, then you need to create a Standard Target version (in the Version dimension) and select it in the form.Please, advice if this solve your problemClaudioBPD Solutions

Router Setup Web form display problem

When I open Internet Explorer 6 to my router setup page (192.168.1.1), the menus and control discriptions are missing. Internet explorer reports an error with processing some of the web scripts. I'm using: WRT54G V8. I have tried reseting the router but it does not fix the problem. I have tried using the Opera Browser but it has the same problem. Unfortunately, I can't attach a screen capture to this post. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, mm

I did some playing around and found that in "Save Mode" the setup web form displays properly. So I upgraded the router firmware in Save Mode, rebooted and now the setup form displays fine in regular mode. I should note that I also re-installed ZoneAlarms (firewall application). Thanks, mm

Problem Transporting Web Forms

Hi Experts,
I have been trying to export the custom web forms from POC server to Dev server. But then i'm not able to find the web form in the target server..
For exporting i followed this method..
Content Administration  KM Content  Export  Pending Exports in the portal... n then i include the xml, xsl and even the whole of wpcconfig folder in the package .
And on importing i fnd the xml and xsl file in the styles and types folder of 'etc'.. but then i do not find the web form .
Can somebody please help me in this matter.

I am adding a form for the first time. I created a web form and I am using the code to adjust an existing form:

As you can see the FirsName and LastName have been added. I do still get the same error that I need to insert the form again. What am I missing here?

Web form for tag_tellafriend problem

I placed the tag_tellafriend into my email marketing campaings.
and placed the web form on my web site.
when linking to the form can't enter the first two fields:
-Your Name
-Your email address
and also the subjet line does not fill in from the campaign.

Thanks Mario - I sent a real campaign to myself
it populated the "your name" and "your emial address" fields
it did not populate the "subject" field.
I do have the subject field populated in the dashboard "e mail marketing" both places.
What do you think?

Icon display problem in web form

Hello,
I am running form through browser. i have converted all my ico files to gif. but icon on the button in web form is not rightly positioned and not clearly displayed as it was in client/server(ico file).
please help me out.

Hi,
it may be that Forms requires your buttons to be a bit bigger in size after converting .ico file to .gif. However, the icons are referenced by a URL link and therefore shouldn't be of a lower quality. At least it should have the same display quality as it has when opening teh gif in a Browser.

Web forms issue clashed - help needed!

hello experts,
i need an urgent as my website is now live, its beyond post-deadline. So I know a kind helpful solution to my problem. Ok here's the thing. I am unable to upload two webform in a single page. If i do add several web form into one page, the email notification won’t work. in other words, i will not receive any enquiries from customers. why is it not possible? i need to add different web form to different pricing option. please check out what i mean at my photography webpage at http://www.purpleperfect.com/wedding-offer-pricing.html

i guess that makes sense.... at least i need to add a second form at the bottom of the page, right on "click here".
btw, i have tested the forms, and it works fine. but if i add two different forms from bc into a single page, none of the forms will work within that page. i had this issue previously with my client website, but i never needed two webforms in a single page until today. do help me out.

Web Forms Not working on Client Machines with Separate Win

Hi friends,
We deployed all our Forms on web and we are using Developer
Server 6.0 ,OAS 4.07, Oracle Jinitator 1.1.7.18 ,Netscape 4.7
Browser
My problem is we configured forms to open in a separate window
this is giving problems on Client Machines they are getting a
blank screen ,previously we used to open forms in the same window
(browser ) at that time we didn't get any problem.
We are using Oracle Jinitiator 1.1.7.18 & Netscape 4.7 as
browser on Client Machines.

JInitiator will be downloaded only once - the first time when u connect to a web-forms application. After that - no problem. It is true that the first time it takes a little bit longer, but I think forms are working better using JInitiator. However - it is just a matter of settings how u will make your application to run. Oracle did great improvement of the speed introducing the forms servlet listener. I would expect even better performance with Forms9i. And Win2000 is not a problem, but combination between Win2000 and Pentium4 is. There is a way to avoid your (installation) problems however.
