I want to know the use of the following standard FM in deail. That is, the the explanation on the output returned by each of the FM based on the inputs.

About "using namespace std" and tool.h++
Hi,
I am a new starter working on some old code C++ using tools.h++ which was previous compiled under the 4.2 version. After reading early topics in this forum, I know that I can use in the new workshop 6 compiler by compiler options like "-library=rwtools7, iostream" to enable usage of both standard iostreams and classic iostreams, however I have problem with "using namespace std", which is plenty in original codes, even the following simple code won't pass: CC -library=rwtools7,iostream test1.cc

PS: when I use -library=rwtools7_std, a CC warning of illegal option -library=rwtools7_std ignored, am I missing something in the system?The C++ Standard Library, which you access by using headers such as <iostream> and <string>, does not mix well with classic iostreams.
One problem is that classic iostreams has identifiers that are the same as identifiers in standard iostreams, but in different namespaces. If you add
using namespace std;
to your code, you create conflicts among the names.
In general, "using namespace std;" is a Bad Idea in real applications. The standard library has so many names that you are likely to run into conflicts with names declared elsewhere. You can add individual using-declarations for types that you need, or qualify them explicitly.

When mixing classic iostreams with the standard library, you cannot have any using-declaration or using-definition associated with names from either iostream library -- the names will conflict.
If you want to use the standard library with Tools.h++, we recommend not using classic iostreams at all. Use the option
-library=rwtools7_std
to get a version of Tools.h++ that works with the standard library.
Most simple iostream code works with both classic and standard iostreams, so this technique is worth a try. With luck, either you won't have to modify your source code at all, or the needed changes will be simple.
You mention you are using the "new WorkShop 6" compiler. Workshop 6 is over 5 years old, and was long ago declared End Of Life. No support is available for it. Maybe you mean WorkShop 6 update 2, which was released in 2001, and which has just been declared End Of Life. WS6u2 is the earliest version that supports the -library=rwtools7_std option.
In any case, you should look into upating to a current compiler.

Customer master data using LSMW std batch input
Hello all,
i m using LSMW method to create customer master records in the SAP system.
we need to cover all the fields for addresses.
Following are my doubts :
1. some address fields are gettng truncated while loading customer master using std batch input program (for ex name1,name2,name3,name4,street..)
2. some fields are not part of std batch input program . how to load that fields
3. if we load address data first and then other customer data ,how to handle internal number range?
4. how to upload internation address data in the system? is there any bapi for that?
5 . how to upload additional communication data in address (ex mail,URL)
Please help asap. its required urgently.

Error compiling certain uses of std::tuple in Solaris Studio 12.4 beta July refresh
Whilst attempting to compile Boost 1.54 using the Solaris Studio 12.4 beta July refresh with -std=c++11 I get an error building libs/regex/src/cregex.cpp that looks like it might be due to a problem with the compiler. (clang++ on Mac OS X and g++ on Linux can certainly build the same file without problems - I can post more details about them if you think this is a problem in the Boost code rather than the compiler.)
The error from Solaris Studio is:

In case it's relevant, I'm working on Oracle Solaris 10 1/13 s10x_u11wos_24a X86.This looks very much like a recent bug with std::map introduced with the change to g++ 4.8 headers in July Beta:
19159587 C++11: errors on a simple <map> usage
It has been reported on forums - +d flag can cause C++ compilation failure in 12.4 beta refresh
This bug will be fixed in a final release.
Unfortunately there is no workaround for this problem.

Hi All,
Please let me know the use of standard price in APO that is updated from R3. Our scenario in APO include DP, CTM, deployment and TLB. We do not run SNP optimizer.
As CTM does not recommend based on cost, can std price field be deleted without affecting anything in APO in the scenario mentioned.
This is as per our client requirement, request for speedy response.

I am not clear on your requiment.
As Gustavo said Standard price does not come to APO from R3. Even though in your environment standard price is transferred to APO using custome modifications you should have business reason/use behind that.
Even if you are having standard price in custome field and If you are using standard CTM, Deployment (heuristic) and TLB then it will not impact any of the standard functionality.
If you can give more details about your scenario, it will be more helpful.

Using MS IIS and Adobe FMS on same machine
Hi Everyone,
I downloaded FMS installed it and tried it and it ran well but I have one problem. After I installing the FMS, my designs with Dreamweaver CS4 will not work when I try my design with IIS. Does any know how to make the IIS and FMS run on one machine? I have used MS IIS server to do my web design and tested them out as well with the same MS IIS sever. If any one knows how to get it right please let me know.

Linking with 12.4 beta (using CC -std=c++11, unresolved symbol operator new)

I've got our code compiling with 12.4 beta now, but linking is proving slightly different to 12.3. If I compile with "CC -std=c++11", then I get link errors:

operator new(unsigned long) foo.o
These can be resolved by using "-std=c++11" when linking using "CC" (a mixture of .o files and archive .a libraries), but this involves modifying many Makefiles to add this extra flag, which isn't required for the Oracle Studio C++ 12.3 compiler.
Is this expected behaviour? Or shouldn't the compiler figure this out itself when linking?

Jonathan.As object files created during the compilation contain references to those runtime libraries you definitely
need to link with them in order to satisfy those references. In your case it is allocation functions.
-std=c++11 uses a completely different ABI and a completely different set of runtime libraries compared to the default mode.
CC -std=c++11 knows which libraries to use (and which library/run paths to set up).
CC by default links with different set of libraries and sets up a different set of library/run paths.
Thus you dont have any other options - you need to link with CC -std=c++11.
Say, if you would compile the sources with g++ and then attempted to link it with Studio result would be the same.

How to align deskjet 6940 in windows 7 using windows std drivers
I have a deskjet 6940 printer installed in Windows 7 64 bit using the standard Win 7 drivers and it works fine The issue is what about aligning the printer? If you get new cartridges, the first thing you do is align the printer. Win 7 drivers do not do this. When can we get something to be able to align the printer under Win 7?

VicAFAIK the Deskjet 6940 performs an automatic alignment when a new cartridge is installed. The printer will print an alignment page and scan it automatically while printing to complete the alignment process without any user intervention required.
I think you can also force an alignment as follows: turn on the printer, then press and hold the power button and while pressing the power button press the resume button (to the right of the X button) three times, then release the power button. (This works for the Deskjet 6550 and other models, I think it applies to the 6940 as well.)

After exporting the whole workbook to a single pdf file, page sizes are inconsistent. When viewing the document in full screen, some pages show up as 25% zoomed, others as 34%. I could re-print the exported pdf file to pdf in Acrobat Std, and that way I could get the same page size throughout the document, but then I loose my bookmarks, which I don't want.

Streaming for Android devices using Amazon AWS and Adobe FMS 4.5
I have created a live stream using Amazon Web Services and Adobe Flash Media Server 4.5.
AWS provides me with both a .f4m and .m3u8 file, to use in <object><embed> and <video> tags, respectively.
The .f4m loads fine on my desktop browser, and the .m3u8 file loads fine on my iOS device. However, my Android devices will not load either file.
What code/solutions are there to get this to play on Android devices?

1. for the first time when I tried to run the live stream on my android app, it didnt run at all and I thought your concerns are valid for an instance :-) .
2. Later, I killed the application from task manager, restarted it cleanly and again provided the url and it streamed without issues.
Please also ensure that:
- You had put a crossdomain.xml file under <fmsinstalldirectory>/webroot folder.
- You have provided the correct stream name in the <media> tag in Manifest.xml file inside <fmsinstalldirectory>/livepkgr/events/_definst_/liveevent folder
(hopefully you have done it since you are already playing it on PC)
You may also like to cehck the apache logs inside <fmsinstalldirectory>/Apache2.2/logs/access_logs folder to find whether your Android device request is reaching to the server.
Hope these steps will help you in osloating the problem.

We have SWO1 object IDOCAPPL in SWETYPECOU and we can use it to send an emaill to user's inbox, if IDOC get fails at all.
But, this object is ONLY for inbound IDOCs.
Am looking for similar object(SWO1) but my IDOCs are outbound, pls. let me know what object i can use from SWETYPECOU table to trigger email if my IDOC get fails? Here IDOC and FM are custom ones.
or pls. let me know What SWO1 object uses by standard SAP to trigger email if outbound IDOC get fails (sales orders)?

Recording high quality video using a local buffer with FMS 3.5
Hello, I'm currently working on a webcam recorder to record high quality video. I had the recorder working before, but the video quality was quite poor. Instead I'm trying to use a client side buffer and then upload the buffer after recording has stopped. I thought after I unattached the video and audio from the NetStream that either a NetStream.Buffer.Empty or NetStream.Record.Stop event would be sent when the buffer was finished uploading. What is actually happening after I start recording is two NetStream.Record.Stop events are being sent in a row, so recording never really happens. Also, on the server side I'm trying to save a user name and password into a variable, but I'm not sure how to go about doing that since the application script is just a bunch of callback functions. I hope someone has done something similar so they might be able to help...
Here is the client application; it's quite messy because I'm just testing things at the moment, but the functions causing the problem are probably onNetStatus, recordButton_clickHandler, and stopRecButton_clickHandler.

I haven't dug nearly this deep, but I have the same issue. I just migrated yesterday, and this behavior started immediately. Mac Mail isn't completely offline on my Mac. (I have a tilde not an exclamation mark) I can send from it, but all incoming mail goes to my phone. It's maddening!
