User changing position in ECC and impact on follow-on docs

Hello all,
Can any one tell me what will happen when a requestor creates a shopping cart and then moves to a different org node in org structure. The EBP users are built by distributing the positions and employees from the HR System.
for Eg:
1.USER1 is assigned to a org unit O  5000XXXX and creates some shopping carts
2. Now the user (USER1) is transferred/ assigned  to different org unit  O  5000YYYY
1. What will happen to documents in SRM (SC, CONF) that were created by the user
2. What will happen to the follow-on Docs in ECC(PR, PO, INV)
3. What will happen to approval items if the user is an Approver?
4. Whenever there is an update to the user position in ECC will it create a new BP in SRM?

Hi Arpita,
This is how I see it working. Hope this helps.
1 - When User1 changes position. He is assigned to a different org. unit, l assume User2 would be taking over User1's responsibilities.
2 - This means all the open documents against User1 like shopping carts, purchase orders, confirmations, contracts now will be taken over by User2. There are business partners assigned to every business document. In this case the business partner needs to be replaced from User1 to User2 for the Open documents.

    Why don't you just store the xml document in the database as an xmltype? You could then build a view over the object-relational table to pull the data out into the format you want.

  • Create Positions in ECC via Portal

    Currently we are assigning roles to positions in ECC and positions to employees to assign access in Portal (through our automated user provisioning process). Currently we assign roles to positions manually and we dont have any way to check if the correct roles are assigned to the positions in ECC.
    What we would like to do is to enable this task via our Portal. So people can create position and assign roles to it in Portal itself and save it back to ECC. Is there any Business Package provides this kind of facility.

  • Impact of changing positions and Org Unit short text

    Hi All..
    This is regarding the impact  of changing positions and Org Unit short text(SAP name - Object Abbreviation, technical field u2013 hrp1000-short).The new approach we are ging to have is to keep short text same across the business unit.
    Example:
    All position in US will have short text u2013 USS
    Similarly All US Org Unit short text will be COMUS
    I was wondering, from SAP best practices point of view, do you see any downside in this approach?
    Example: Any problem in searching position or org using search term.

    Hi,
    Normally such change will not have any impact in PA module.
    Only in exceptional cases it will have an impact in following cases:
    1. First and mandatory condition that you use abbreviation as position name in IT 0001. If this is the case parameter PLOGI TEXTC (in table T77S0) should be equal X.
    2. Second condition is that parameter PLOGI SPLIT is equal to X. That means that change of object name will lead to record split in IT 0001 in PA.
    So if in table T77S0 you don't have setting PLOGI TEXTC = X and PLOGI SPLIT = X you can go ahead with change of positions abbreviations. It will have no impact on other modules.

    Lookup the UINavigationItem class. I think you'll need to replace the titleView with your own custom view that includes text and image. You can access this from the UIViewController: self.navigationItem.titleView.

  • I have a 3G iphone4, iOS 5.1.1. I changed my apple ID and since then iCloud has constantly helpfully let me know that my user name or password is incorrect. I have edited my password in my iCloud account settings, but it won't allow editing my user name

    Recently changed my apple ID. On my 3G iPhone 4 iCloud has since then been letting me know that my user name or password is incorrect.  I can edit the password in iCloud account information but user name is grayed out and can't be changed to my new apple ID. Haven't been be able to fix this by going into my Apple ID account or synching the iPhone.

    In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your iOS device, you need to delete the account from your iOS device first, then add it back using your updated details. (Settings > iCloud, scroll down and hit "Delete Account")
    Providing you are simply updating your existing details and not changing to another account, when you delete your account, all the data that is synced with iCloud will also be deleted from the device (but not from iCloud), but will be synced back to your device when you login again.

    I tried to change the Background color and Text modification in Login Page,Register Page of OIM Adminstration and user console.
    As per the Oracle® Fusion Middleware Developer's Guide for Oracle Identity Manager 11g guide i did Style Sheet Modifications.I created the skin the trinidad-skins.xml and myskin.css in admin.war and iam-consoles0faces.war.Even after it not reflecting on oim admin and user console.
    After modifiacetions i cleared purgecache.sh as well as tmp [$DOMAIN_ROOT/servers/oim_server1/tmp/] directory.
    I think i have done modifications in wrong way.Can anyone please suggest me to do the correct modifications as soon possible.

    I am not able recall any major change.
    All i can recall is changing some files for customization like changing some text through filexlWebApp.war and i also i have not i am still to run patch utility. I guess this should not be the reason.
    Which configuration file i should look for this ?

  • Images change position and dimension after client edits on admin console!

    Hi, 
    1. After my client uploaded his images onto the site using the admin console they changed position slightly and did not fit exactually into the image frames i had set when i first made the site.
    2. When i opened the site on muse and merged changes the images positions and dimensions changed even more than what was being diplayed on the live site? (E.g I originally had two columns of square thumbnails for some slideshows and now i have a single column of rectangle images)
    3. I republished to see what would happen it now displays the way it was diplaying in Muse. The site is: www.jacobbuckland.co.uk
    My understanding was that when i create an image frame or gallery in muse that any image uploaded via the admin console should fill that frame no matter what the size or dimensions of that image?

    Our technical team managed to find the immediate cause for the problem, and a solution.
    According to them there was a corruption on a speciffic OLAP file. By deleting it, they allowed it to be recreated on the next application processing. The file in question was found in \Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL.2\OLAP\Data\UGF.0.db\<APPLICATION>.38.cub.xml
    Where <APPLICATION> is the name of the problematic cube.
    After that everything is working.

    It's normal for the icons at the top level of the startup disk to revert to the same arrangement every time the Finder is relaunched. If it's important to you to arrange those icons in a persistent way, proceed as follows.
    Back up all data.
    Open the Info window on the startup disk (labeled "Macintosh HD" unless you gave it another name.) Click the lock icon in the lower right corner of the dialog and authenticate.
    In the Sharing & Permissions section, click the plus-sign button to add an entry to the access list. Give yourself "Read and Write" access. This will be a temporary change. Leave the dialog open.
    Open the Finder window and arrange the icons as you wish, then close the window.
    In the Info dialog, use the minus-sign button to delete the entry you just added to the access list. Don't change anything else. When you're done, it should be the same as when you started. Close the Info dialog.

  • Defaulting checkbox with check in SC and holding user changes later

    Hello All,
    I have created a custom field - checkbox in SC basic data. My requirement is to default the checkbox ticked and when the user trys to uncheck it, the user change should be captured.
    I have defaulted the checkbox in BBP_CUF_BADI_2 badi. But the checkbox is always getting checked even if the user unchecks it. Is there any way to default the checkbox checked and also hold the user input.
    Any suggestions on how to do this?

    Hi Latha,
    Default the field as checked in begining using using CUF BADI , capture the value of check box in CHANGE BADI and SET the value using SET PARAMETER in CHANGE BADI and fetch the current value of checkbox using GET PARAMETER in CUF BADI to keep the field checked or unchecked.

  • Changing password of Sysman and DBSNMP users in Oracle 10g (10.2.0.3.0)

    When i changed my sysman and dbsnmp password, these users are frequently locking.
    For sysman password change i do the following steps.
    1) emctl stop dbconsole
    2) change password of sysman and dbsnmp from sql
    3) Post sysman password change to emoms.properties file
    4) Post DBSNMP password change in targets.xml
    5) emctl start dbconsole.
    DBSNMO AND SYSMAN users were locked.
    Stop dbconsole again
    Unlock the user sysman and dbsnmp
    then again restart dbconsole
    Sysman user locked
    Another thing do we need to have same password for dbsnmp and sysman

    Now Sysman and DBSNMP users are unlocked after i made the password of sysman change again and they are not locking.
    Following is the message in the browser
    Enterprise Manager is not able to connect to the database instance. The state of the components are listed below.
    Browser is showing All the components are up like instance, Agent and Listener with green arrows upward

  • SSO with different ECC and UME user

    Hi everyone!
    I'm in MII 12.1.10 and trying to configure MII for SSO logon on ECC through JCO connector. My problem is i have different user in ECC and UME. SSO was configured successfully when user are equals
    ECC have a user mapping for users from AD and it's works for SSO on SAPGUI for example.
    On MII, user are logged in with AD user. But when i try to call a RFC with a logon ticket didn't work.
    So, SSO logon works if, and only if, ECC user and UME user are the same? Can ECC validate the ticket with AD mapping user?

    You do not mention it, but I will assume you are running OS 10.9.1.
    Go to: Apple menu / System Preferences / Users & Groups. Click the padlock and enter your password.
    Click the + (plus sign) and set up a new account for your wife. You have to enter a bunch of info. And then create the correct Login Options. Automatic login does not require a password from the selected user.
    When that is done, verify the account works by restarting the computer and login as your wife.
    Make sure that any applications in your own Users folder that will be needed are moved to the Applications folder in your wife's Users folder.
    Now go back to Users and Groups, click the padlock and authenticate, select your own account, and hit the - (minus sign). This step cannot be reversed, so you might want to wait a few days before doing it.
    When your wife is logged in, the App Store will know.

  • Prevent user change PO data except Validity start , Validity end and  ...

    I use BAdI: ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST method:PROCESS_ITEM to check if any change PO data after that PO was released. The change will accept only if the changed fields were Validity start, Validity end and Delivery date.
    If user change other fields, i use the BAdI to set data in that field back to old data. My problem is when user delete item the field Delete Indicator was set to 'L' so i change it back to blank by method set_data but it still show delete indicator in PO screen.
    anybody has any idea?!

    Hi Chantima,
    This is only a guess as I did not have time to validate...but only certain fields can be changed in the PROCESS_ITEM method...look at the structure MEPOITEM_TECH for the list that cannot be changed by the customer badi...your delete flag setting may be in there or the setting of the delete flag may update a field in this structure....
    You may want to take a different approach and stop the changes from being made instead of backing them out....couple of possibilities include...
    A.  Restrict all users on this Tcode and PO document type I would look at the configuration in MM->Purchasing->Define screen layout at Document level.  You can make fields display only instead of coding a solution. 
    B. If you have to have more control than provided in the config or need to code the solution, you may want to investigate using the Field selection methods (all start with FIELDSELECTION_*)  to stop the changes from being made instead of backing them out after the changes are made.
