User credential not maintained in weblogic7.0 sp2

Hi,
I am using JAAS framework for authenticating user in my application. I have client-side
as well as server side authentication that need to be done. For both these things
i am using the same authentication class. My application is working fine in weblogic7.0
sp1 and i recently installed weblogic7.0 sp2 and ran my application. Now all the
client-side authentication happens fine but during server-side(i.e. server classes
calling my authenticate method) authentication, the weblogic.sercurity.Security.getCurrentSubject()
is returning subject with principalSet as null. In my authentication, in the commit()
i set the principals in the subject. I want to know is it problem with my setting
or is there any change in sp2. But as far as settings are concerned, its the same
in sp1 & sp2 as well in the server & client side.
Also in the sp2 classpath theres an entry for weblogic_sp.jar but no such jar
is available in the WL_HOME\server\lib\. would this be cause of this problem.

Hi Check Table HRUS_D2 for the user id and cross check it with the users pa record and IT 105.
Also check the email address maintained in su01. And further you can check with the org attrib forward??? is maintained.

IPhone "FIOS remote" app update caused 'Invalid User Credential'

I recently updated my "FIOS remote" app on my iPhone and started getting 'Invalid User Credential' when checking my DVR in the app or the TV listings, also wasnt able to submit feedback.
TheAbout screen says I'm using "Verizon FIOS mobile remote version 3.1.56 build number 16"
I called Verizon support who helped me.
The fix: Open a browser and go to www.verizon.com/fiostv/web and logon.
Feedback in the app still doesn't work so I thought I'd post this here for others. By the way, I think a 100 character limit is too small for feedback.

If you have verified that you are on the Actiontec WiFI (not a second router's wifi) and that your login is correct at all those sites, then you might need to email the dev from the apple store. Check if you have more than one system. If so, check whether host, port and URL of startpage are maintained on the correct one.

(ABAP) and the Visual Administrator (Java):

Last, please check whether, In tcode SM59, the destination INTEGRATION_DIRECTORY_HMI.
The user maintained in the Logon tab should be PIISUSER
and ensure he password is correct,and check if the destination will test successfully.

These are the options provided by SAP keeping in mind Indian Scenario. Sometimes, vendor forget to send excise invoice copy with the material, in such case, you can select 'Only Part I'.
Even if you have maintain vendor excise details & material excise details (By mistake) in J1ID, system will throw an error message, excise invoice value is zero. In such case, we can select option 'No excise entry'.
Your requirement can't be fulfilled in standard way. Even if you go for any Z- developement, you will lose the option.

Profit Center was not maintained during order n billing creation.

I'm facing a problem of Profit Center. User created a service material, maintenance contract. They created a Billing Document as it is order related billing. Accounting document was not generated when saving invoice. When I got to the bottom of this I realized no costing tabs were ever maintained for material type services. (Henceforth no Profit Center in Sales Order n Invoice).
I have done the necessary config n assignments but question now is what should I do as in billing doc the field is greyed out it will not allow me to assign Pr Center now. I am thinking that this may work if I cancel the billing document and then go back to sales order and try and changing the field, then re-create the invoice. I'm trying to avoid canceling. Is there any program, bapi, user exit I may use to re assign or make system re check the MM while saving invoice to allow accounting document to be created? This is one scenario.
2nd scenario is similar but in the case of this contract everything was made. Accounting document was cleared even but with some dummy weird Profit Center. (No proft center in Order nor invoice.) Whole problem at first in this scenario is User saying everything is complete so status in doc flow should show maintenance contract as complete but wasn't. it showed being processed. I discovered no completion rule was maintained. I maintained E Full target value referenced but status still has not changed any idea guys? (New config not showing on old existing data only show on new document, concept?) Is there a program or anything to make system update status doc flow? aside from this Profit center incompletion log is coming in Contract. Not maintained in order or invoice.

I've a user account that's meant to perform staffing, based on the actual HR role. The system is also set up with an infogroup that contains infotypes 0000, 0001, 0006, 0185, XYZ and other infotypes; XYZ representing an actual infotype. The HR role is not supposed to have this infotype XYZ.
When PA40 is used, infotype XYZ will be skipped, as the user account do not have authorisation for it. I could then proceed to create the record.
When the fm: hr_maintain_masterdata is used, I was prompted that I do not have authorisation for infotype XYZ.
I have setup my fm with the mininum amount of values, as indicated below.
I did not populate a table for "proposed_values" so the infotypes called were due to the actions of the infogroup.

A behaviour that has been observed was that, after infotype 0185 was saved, the function module throws me back to infotype 0000, citing, "No authorization to maintain XYZ exists". Data that I had populated to the screen, either via the FM or by manual input were cleared. If I skip the next 4 screens, I'll arrive at the Infotype after XYZ, with the data populated. Subsequent infotypes also have their data filled in.
Once I complete the sequence, the personnel record will be created. Upon examination, the frist 4 screens that were skipped in the 2nd pass contains data that were entered in the 1st pass.
My question, as posted in the original post, is why infotype XYZ is triggered by the function module, as the staffing account does not hae access for it. If I repeat the process using PA40, the infotype is skipped accordingly.
Any help would be appreciated.

Following is the sample code for the same.

User does not exist in this period / ESS does not work anymore ;-(

Hello experts,
starting any ess application on portal side (leave request), I get the follwoing error code:
com.sap.pcuigp.xssfpm.java.FPMRuntimeException: User TESTUSER does not exist in this period
Starting application personal data I get the message: "There are no services in the area."
I know, that this error has often been discussed in this forum. So I check the hints I found, but I could not solve my problem.
The HR user TESTUSER is assigned to the portal user TESTUSER in IT0105 and the user is not exceeded.
TESTUSER got SAP_ALL on HR side.
The error appears for all users, that worked propably a few days before.
Login on portal side and HR works. ESS overview is shown for TESTUSER. For a user that has not a login to HR system it does not appear. So the single singn on (SSO) between portal and HR system seems to work.
The ESS applications worked fine until two days ago. Portal guys said, they had not done any changes on portal side.
Where could the error occure on HR side? How can I recognize if any changes have been made on HR side?

TX HRUSER seems not working.
Using the function 'Set Up and Maintain ESS User (Overview)' in TX HRUSER with my test-PERNR it is shown under 'Employees with deleted users'.
Clicking on it I got the Information:
PERS.NO: 12345678 (i.e.) NAME: Test User FROM: 01.01.2011 TO: 31.12.9999 USER: Name: FROM: TO: User does not exist.
But in IT0105 the PERNR is assigned to user TESTUSER in that period.
When I try to assign PERNR to TESTUSER with TX HRUSER under 'Assign Employees to Existing Users' I read the follwing information:

Trying to 'assign employees' I get the message 'Error occurred when creating relationship for user ESSUSER-B to employee'.

But I have assigned it manualy in IT 0105.
Concurrent employment (CCURE PAUIX) is not activated.

Configuration: JES Q405. Solaris 10 x86.
My customer initially installed JES (Portal + AM + DS) on the same box.
Now, they have a change in their requirement. They want DS to run dedicatedly in another box.
I have successfully installed a fresh instance of DS in the new box with the same domain name (thus maintaining the same dn). I have copied over 99user.ldif and exported all the data from the original DS in the old box.
Everything is running fine. DS in the new box is able to function properly.
On the Portal and AM side, I have changed the following file:
1. AMConfig.properties
2. serverconfig.xml
3. PSConfig.properties
I have also changed the Primary LDAP entry in iPlanetAMAuthLDAPService, iPlanetAMAuthMembershipService, and iPlanetAMPolicyConfigService.

Reauthencation of Wireless User does not get prompt

Hi Sir,
I set up a Radius server(Cisco ACS) to authenticate wireless users via 802.1x. The EAP protocol deployed is Microsoft PEAP as most of the clients OS is XP. The users might be sharing the same laptops. When a user select the wireless network to connect to, he was prompted a window for him to enter the Username, Password and Domain field. After successful authentication, he was able to access the network resources.
However, the user is not prompted the Username, Password and Domain after he has done so the first time. I understand that XP cached the user credentials in the registry. But my customer would like the window prompt to appear when the following scenario happens to reauthenticate
a) Session timeout (Notice options in Group profile in ACS but didnt seem to work). What is this session timeout in ACS?
b) Idle timeout to reauthenticate the current wireless user as the user might leave his workspace for a short period of time and someone might have use his credential to access the network illegitimately
c) When he shuts down the PC and the laptop is passed to another user but the previous user credential is used rather than the second user credentioal is used.
How can I disable the automatic cached user credentials? Is there a way to prompt the user after a period of time for him to enter Username, Password and Domain field again? Is the option available in the XP client? I search through the AP configuration options but found none.

Problem in Print Program, picking JECS value but not maintained

I have a report for Invoice Printing.
My query is related to Item conditions that in one item we have not maintained JECS condition of 3% but when we are printing the program, that is printing Education cess 3%.
This is done by the user mistake, because when we maintain JECS condition for 3%, the same output will be shown.
But in my case, user forgot to insert this condition. After that printout showing the Education cess 3%, but in VF03, respect to that line item conditions there is not maintained JECS condition.
Pls guide..how it is possible..

We cannot have incompletion procedure at the billing document level.It will be happened at the sales order level.
But we can control this one either by using the user exit or any ABAP code.
Goto the T.Code "V/06".Select your condition type.Details.Maintain the value as "A" for the field "Manual entries".
Goto the T.Code "V/08".Select your pricing procedure.Details.
Maintain this condition type as required.
Save.
This ensures that it should fetch values for this condition type automatically i.e. from condition record.Else it will throw an error message.

thanx a lot for your help,specially hari52
hari52 strangely enough the code started working,but
now i have another problem
after a while my server hangs or gets shutdown ,a
message is shown as
"java.exe has generated error and will be shutdown"
i know that more connections can be a prob. but i
make sure that connections r closed on each page,also
i am a newbie and do not have the time at present to
learn abt. connection pool ,can this problem be
solved easily?

thanx again,You remove the System.exit(1) line from the code inside the catch block
and try again. That's the reason tomcat getting down. System.exit(1) should not be used inside jsp. it will make the underlaying Servlet Engine to shutdown.

Vendor if not maintained at the company code level

Hi,
System should not save the PO, if the vendor has not maintained at the company code level. How to achieve this?

Vendor Need not to be Maintained at Company Code Level For Creating Purchase Order.
During IR only System will Look whether Vendor is Maintained at Company code Level.
Try the User Exit MM06E010 Field selection for vendor address and Check any Possibility is there.
What you can do is you Can Restrict Users to Use MK01. And give Authorization to Limited Users for XK01.
