User Defined Steps / Version conflicts

Hi folks,
I am trying to get warm with my brand new software packages LV 8.6 and SignalExpress 3.0
In particulary I want to create a "user Step" in SE (SignalExpress) which means using a LV Vi  in SE.
In SE I must select which LV version the VI was written with. The selection allows several Versions up to 8.5, but not 8.6.
I do not have any of the supported oder versions. When I use the "save as oder version" in LV, SE still does not accept the VI as user step.
I have read through the description "Creating SignalExpress Plug-Ins with LabView", but that did not really help me out. The paper is well written, but somewhat outdated.
Anyone who has a suggestion for me?
Thanks
Gerd

Hi Gerd,
the Sound and Vibration Assistant extends Signal Express to provide specific sound and vibration measurements and analysis.
Usually the latest LabVIEW version is supported. When version 6.0 has been released LabVIEW 8.5 was the latest. - So I assume you have version 6.0.
In version 7.0 LabVIEW 8.6 is supported - just tested.
Have fun with Signal Express and a nice weekend.
With best regards
Ralf N.

  • User defined step for polling data

    Hi,
I'm creating a User Defined VI to be called from SignalExpress, that needs to poll a serial device for data.
The serial device makes new data availiable in a register-array at a rate of 10Hz, and uses an additional register as a "message ID" to indicate when new data is availiable.
This means that my VI needs to poll this MessageID, and when it increments, I can read the register array into a waveform and return it to SignalExpress.
Now, what is the best/correct way of writing this VI in regard to the polling wait time?
I see two options here for the case when my VI is called and it detects that no new message is availiable:
It immediately returns to SignalExpress ("non blocking").
In this case, should I return an empty waveform or the previous waveform?
(I do not want duplicated data logged in SignalExpress)
It blocks the SignalExpress loop where the user defined step is placed, by waiting in my VI until a new message arrives, and then returns this new data in a waveform.
My user defined step is placed in a separate loop in signal express so the blocking in case 2 should not affect other DAQ loops in my SignalExpress project, right?
    /LeifS

I don't think it is directly possible for changing this at the front end level.
You might need to make changes in some SE24 Classes

  • User-Defined Conflict Resolution

    Dear,
I'm going to design User-Defined Conflict Resolution method. But reference site / documents is very few. It's difficult to find them.
Have you ever designed that ?
Do you have any sample scripts for that ?
    Thanks for advance.

There is an example in the Replication Management API Reference Manual Appendix B. http://technet.oracle.com/doc/oracle8i_816/server.816/a76958/user_con.htm#133

  • Java classpath error while crawling sample user defined datasource (SampleA

    Hi All,
I am trying to run the sample crawler agent provided by ultra search "SampleAgent.java". For this
I have created and configured the user defined datasource type and the user defined data source (for the NEWS TABLE) as per the readme file of the Sample Crawler agent.
I have also created a schedule for this user defined type.
However, while executing the schedule I am getting the following error:
WKG-30116: Can not find agent class "SampleAgent" from the java class path
Please let me know the reason for the error. Am I right in creating and executing a schedule for user defined data source? (the doucmentation never says that, for user defined datasource, I need to create a schedule and execute it!!)
Also, after going through some of the postings in this discussion forum I understood that I need to check my java classpath from the WK$CRAWLER_DEFAULT_CONFIG table.
In this table my the value for
    CC_JAVA_EXEC_PATH is "C:\oracle\ora92\jdk\bin\java.exe -ms16m -mx256m"
    and
    CC_JAVA_CLASS_PATH is

    Hi All,
I would appreciate any help that I get regarding this post.
If anyone has run the Sample crawler Agent please let me know the steps needed to make it work. I have followed the steps mentioned in the readme file here:

Are there any other configurations that I need to do? Am I missing something? Please let me know.

  • User Defined Function Error - Can't find function

    Hi All,
    Version: 11.1.1.4
I created a user defined function and added it to one of my BPEL Processes. I can see the function in JDeveloper and can compile the project without issue. We placed the jar file out on the SOA Server following the oracle user defined function examples. After placing the file out on weblogic I was able to successfully deploy the project.
    Oracle Deployment Steps:
To deploy user-defined functions to runtime:
    1. Copy the user-defined function JAR files to BEA_Home/user_projects/domains/domain_name/lib or a subdirectory of lib.  Where domain_name is the name of the Oracle WebLogic Server domain (for example, soainfra).
    2. Restart the Oracle WebLogic Server. However, when I try to run the composite application I get the below error. I am not really sure why it can't find the Function? The jar is out on the server and the jar was added to the project?
    Error:
    Non Recoverable System Fault :
<bpelFault><faultType>0</faultType><subLanguageExecutionFault xmlns="http://schemas.oracle.com/bpel/extension"><part name="summary"><summary>XPath expression failed to execute. Check the detailed root cause described in the exception message text and verify that the XPath query is correct. </summary></part><part name="code"><code>XPathExecutionError</code></part></subLanguageExecutionFault></bpelFault>Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

try putting the jar location explicitly in weblogic server's classpath i.e. add BEA_Home/user_projects/domains/domain_name/lib to wls classpath and restart server.

  • Error in User defined function

I have created a user defined function to make a call to SAP using JCo.
But I am getting an error "package com.sap.mw.jco does not exist"
Do we need to install JCo on our server?
    Thanks in advance

    Hallo Vijaya Kumari,
if you use XI3.0 then you should check csn note 753294:
    Symptom
A message mapping contains a user-defined function that uses a class
from the "com.sap.mw.jco", "sapxmltoolkit" or "com.sap.tc.Logging"
library. An error stating that the source code contains syntax errors
occurs when you test or activate the message mapping. When you use a
class from "com.sap.mw.jco", the system reports, for example, "package
    com.sap.mw.jco does not exist".
This error only occurs in systems containing a Support Package lower
    than 5.
    Solution
Import Support Package 5 or higher.
You can use the following workaround as a short-term solution: Upload
the library that is referenced in the message mapping into the software
component of the message mapping as an "imported archive". Do not
activate the "imported archive" with the library since it is not needed
for the runtime. The only purpose of the archive is to allow the message
mapping to be compiled. To avoid version conflicts with newer libraries,
you should delete the archive again after you import Support Package 5
    or higher.
In your case you will find the relevant jar file in the path
    [sap_j2ee_engine_installaltion_path]\cluster\server0\bin\ext\com.sap.mw.jco\jrfc.jar

  • User-Defined Message Search - PI 7.1 - EHP1 - SP06 - Not working

    Hi Friends,
Recently, we have imported SP06 in our PI system (PI 7.1 EHP1). The SXMB_MONI has now new tab "User-Defined Selection Criteria".
To implement user-defined search, I have created filer, extractor, namespace prefix for one outbound interface through transaction SXMS_LMS_CONF. (As it is explained in SAP EHP1 features PDF and the link "http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nwpi711/helpdata/en/48/c85598f63335bfe10000000a42189d/frameset.htm".
Also we have created logical port through transaction SOAMANAGER. (followed the steps as mentioned in PDF)
After filters, extractor, namespace prefix created and activated, I have checked the extractor through Test Extractor, it is working fine. (All are green, given below is the output)
    Type
    Message text
    Processing message 4DDFE95BAEC67152E10000009958A8AB
Analyzing payload of message version 000
    No filter found
Analyzing payload of message version 004
Filter found for interface name PROACT.PROACT01
    Name MATERIAL_ID value RPM312AZ/11522R1 extracted
Analyzing payload of message version 005
    No filter found
Analyzing payload of message version 008
    No filter found
Now, when I do search the same through SXMB_MONI, by giving inputs in the new tab "User-Defined Selection Criteria", Option button "Search for all" , selected the filter name "MATERIAL_ID" in the input field:Name and put material name in the  in the input field:value. (same material I put), it shows the message "No message is available for selection".
Friends, could you kindly clarify why I am unable to search through SXMB_MONI? Am I missed any of the steps?
    Kindly reply.
    Kind regards,
    Jegathees P.

Were you able to resolve the issue ?
If not, You need to execute program SXMS_EXTRACT_MESSAGES to build index for the user defined search from the old messages.
The job bulids index from the already processed messages.
Choose the relevant Method when creating the extractor
    Method
You can choose between two methods:
    Extract During Message Processing
Select this method if you want the attributes to be extracted from the selected messages while these messages are processed.
    Extract with External Job
Select this method if you want to extract attributes from messages that were already processed, or if you want to change the extraction of attributes from messages, from which attributes were already extracted.
For this method you need to set up and use the job SXMS_EXTRACT_MESSAGES.
    thanks

  • Need 2 Multiline elements for user decision step

We are on SAP R/3 Enterprise version.
I have this requirement to find agents based on the agent type and work center field.  So I created a responsibility rule for each type of agent type.  The responsibility rule is keyed on the work center, and HR positions are mapped to each responsibility rule’s work center field.
We have 50 agent types/responsibility rules, 60 work centers, and 1 or more positions for each agent type and work center combinations. Due to the total number of positions, I prefer to use 1 responsibility rule per agent type for ease of maintenance.
I have a FM that reads the responsibility rule based on the agent type and work center field and retrieve the agent_list.  I used this FM/method/step prior to my user decision step and pass the agent_list to the UD step via container.
In my user decision step, the ‘Other’ tab does not have Multiline element for me to enter my agent_list.  So I cannot use &agent_list[&_WF_PARFOREACH_INDEX&]& in my user decision agent assignment expression field.
In my last job, we have SAP ECC 5.0, the UD step has a ‘Misc’ tab that has Multiline element, but our current SAP R/3 Enterprise version does not have ‘Misc’ tab, it only has ‘Other’ tab.
    Question:
    1.  How do I use [&_WF_PARFOREACH_INDEX&] without Multiline element for agent_list in UD step?
    2. I have to use the same way to retrieve my LED_agent_list as well, so I need 2 Multiline elements in my UD step. But normally in  ‘Other’ tab, it allows you to define only 1 Multiline element. How do I get around this restriction?
    3. My last resort is to use 1 responsibility rule, then I can use the rule in the agent assignment.  If that is the case, is there any limit on the number of entries in the rule?
    Thanks.
    Amy

  • How toAccess User Defined Properties in NWDS

    Hi to Experts,
i hope some one might faced this same problem, i want access user defined properties from KM to NWDS. For that Iu2019m using
EP 7.0 and NWDS Version: 7.0.11.
i have one Req.. to send value as a text or String to Km Property for store or display Km Folder. Like as we have name, date, created by, Description, Extra..... at the same place i want create my own Properties(using with Property metadata @ Global Service) and what ever Properties i created those ones i want use and store or send date to that particular property to display to end-user.
For above process am using WDJ
hope i can get this And thanQ in Advance.
    vita

    - Create a user-defined OTD with one String field.
    - Create an XSD-based OTD with repeating name and value fields of type String
    - Create a "New Web Service" Java Collaboration whose input will be the first OTD, whose output will be the second OTD and whose operation will be named getProeprties, or some such
    - Implement, in Java, the code necessary to read your properties, given the properties file name or path (given in the input OTD) and populate the name/valur pairs on the output OTD
    - drag the operation of the collaboration onto the Business Process Editor canvas as an Activity
    - Configure a Busienss Rule to set the input of the getProperties activity to the name/path of the properties file
    - Configure a Business Rule(s) to use the name/value pairs returned from the ivocation of teh getProperties service
If you wish to take this one step further you could consider writing the java collaboration
    a) generically so it can be reused from different business processes
    b) to cache the properties on first read so each invocation after the first one simply returns the in-memory values instead of re-reading the proerties from disk
    c) generically so it can read, cache and return different property sets depending on the properties file/path provided as input.
Bear in mind that IO from a java collaboration by means other than an eWay violates the EJB spec.. It works all the same.

I like have more information abt live scenario's use of value mapping, interface mapping, standard funtions and user defined functions.
How to create user defined funtions and how to use it in XI?
    thanks in advance

    Hi,
Interface mappings register your mapping program for an interface pair in the Integration Repository. If you require a mapping at runtime, it is sufficient to select the interface mapping for the interface pair at configuration time .The Integration Server uses the interface mapping to identify associated mapping programs for request messages, response messages, fault messages, or all three.
    Features
Executing Multiple Mapping Programs for One DirectionBy using an interface mapping you can execute multiple mapping programs consecutively for the transformation of a request or response message. In such cases, an interface mapping comprises multiple steps for which the following applies:
&#9679;     The steps are executed in the sequence specified (from top to bottom). The result of the mapping program from the previous step is forwarded to the mapping program of the subsequent step.
&#9679;     Each step can reference a mapping program that executes a 1:1, 1:n, n:1, or an m:n transformation. In the case of multi-mappings (1:n, n:1, or m:n), the previous step must create the same number of messages that the subsequent step expects.
&#9679;     Multi-mappings use one envelope to put all messages in one structure. If one of the steps references a multi-mapping program, all subsequent steps must use the same envelope.
The mapping for a request message comprises two message mapping programs: one 1:1 transformation and one 1:n transformation. Since the latter message mapping uses the multi-mapping envelope for both the target message and the source message, the message mapping for the 1:1 transformation must also create a transformation result with a multi-mapping envelope.
You do not strictly need to divide up one direction of the whole mapping into different steps. However, this enables all the message formats in one system landscape to be mapped to a central message format, for example. This results in less mapping programs being required because you no longer need to be able to map all the different message formats to each other
    Activities
           1.      Create a message mapping on the design maintenance screen of the Integration Builder (see also: Creating an Object).
You can also create multiple interface mappings for the same interface pair.
           2.      Enter the source and target interfaces that require a mapping of the request message, the response message, the fault message, or all three, in the table of the same name. The following restrictions apply:
&#9675;     If you want to use the interface mapping in a transformation step in an integration process, you must only specify abstract message interfaces. Furthermore, all objects (integration process, interface mapping, and all objects that reference the interface mapping) must be in the same software component version. If you want to reference objects from underlying software component versions, you must access the objects from the Basis Objects branch (in the navigation tree or using an input help).
&#9675;     If you want to map multiple messages to each other by using a multi-mapping, you can only specify asynchronous interfaces (for further restrictions, see: Multi-Mappings). If any message interfaces are missing, you can also create them by using the function Create New Object ().
If the interface cannot be imported or cannot be created in the Integration Repository (in the case of an external adapter, for example), you must enter the interface names manually. However, it is not possible to check the technical name in this case.
           3.      To import the properties of the interfaces, choose Read Interfaces. The table in the lower area displays tab pages for the request message, response message, and if available, for the fault message, for each mode of the interfaces (either synchronous or asynchronous).
           4.      To develop an external mapping program, export the XSD schema of the respective request or response message as a zip file after you have imported the interfaces. The zip file can contain multiple schema files that reference each other, for example in a multi-mapping. In this case, the schema with the global message element has the name MainSchema.
           5.      To reference a mapping program for the respective message, you have the following options:
&#9675;     Select an existing mapping program from the Integration Repository by using the input help (). If this is a message mapping, the default setting of the input help only displays those message mappings that are found using the source and target message in the Integration Repository (in multi-mappings, the first source and target messages are used as the search criteria). However, you can also display any number of message mappings, for example, because you are constructing a mapping from several mapping programs with intermediate instances which have no message types.
&#9675;     You can create message mappings directly from the interface mapping. To do this, select the mapping type Message Mapping in the Type column. Position the cursor in the Name column and choose the function Create New Message Mapping () in the Mapping Program frame. The Integration Builder copies the specifications of the messages and their occurrence directly from the interface mapping.
An interface mapping can only reference mapping programs that belong to the same or an underlying software component version of the interface mapping. This ensures that the mapping program can be shipped together with the interface mapping (see: Software Logistics).
           6.      If it is not a mapping for a fault message, you can execute multiple mapping programs in succession for request and response messages:
&#9675;     To insert an additional line for a mapping program, choose .
&#9675;     To delete the registration for a mapping program, choose .
At runtime, the mapping programs are executed from top to bottom.
           7.      Save the interface mapping.

  • Hi ya'll, I'm having problems with patterns. Error 519, what's going on?? URGENT!!! Can't seem to fill layers with user defined patterns

I've never had this problem before, I noticed improvements a few days ago regarding pattern tool but the last few days I've been unable to fill layers with a user defined pattern. This is one of the main reasons I use photoshop and it's giving me a headache!!! I have to turn in some patterns by monday and this is not working, please fix it!!

First a clarification:  You are NOT addressing Adobe here in these user forums.

If you give complete and detailed information about your setup and the issue at hand,
such as your platform (Mac or Win),
exact versions of your OS, of Photoshop (not just "CS6", but something like CS6v.13.0.6) and of Bridge,
your settings in Photoshop > Preference > Performance
the type of file you were working on,
machine specs, such as total installed RAM, scratch file HDs, total available HD space, video card specs, including total VRAM installed,
what troubleshooting steps you have taken so far,
    what error message(s) you receive,
if having issues opening raw files also the exact camera make and model that generated them,
if you're having printing issues, indicate the exact make and model of your printer, paper size, image dimensions in pixels (so many pixels wide by so many pixels high). if going through a RIP, specify that too.
    etc.,
someone may be able to help you (not necessarily this poster).

  • Issue with xsd Data type mapping for collection of user defined data type

    Hi,
I am facing a issue with wsdl for xsd mapping for collection of user defined data type.
    Here is the code snippet.
    sample.java
    @WebMethod
    public QueryPageOutput AccountQue(QueryPageInput qpInput)
public class QueryPageInput implements Serializable, Cloneable
    protected Account_IO fMessage = null;
public class QueryPageOutput implements Serializable, Cloneable

    return (ArrayList<AccountIC>)fintObjInst.clone();
    public void setfintObjInst(AccountIC val)
    fintObjInst = new ArrayList<AccountIC>();
    fintObjInst.add(val);
    Public class AccountIC
    protected String Name;
    protected String Desc;
    public String getName()

In the above wsdl the collection of fintObjInst if of type xs:anytype. From the wsdl, I do not see the xsd mapping for AccountIC which includes Name and Desc. Due to which, when invoking the web service from a different client like c#(by creating proxy business service), I am unable to set the parameters for AccountIC. I am using JAX-WS stack and WLS 10.3. I have already looked at blog http://weblogs.java.net/blog/kohlert/archive/2006/10/jaxws_and_type.html but unable to solve this issue. However, at run time using a tool like SoapUI, when this wsdl is imported, I am able to see all the params related to AccountIC class.
Can some one help me with this.
    Thanks,
    Sudha.

Did you try adding the the XmlSeeAlso annotation to the webservice
    @XmlSeeAlso({<package.name>.AccountIC.class})
This will add the schema for the data type (AccountIC) to the WSDL.
    Hope this helps.
