User Exit to derive characterstics values of COPA

Hi
I Am posting an FI document using the standard program rfbibl00 or through FB01.
I have to post data to the PA segements too .
But the problem is that i need to derive the value of Brand based upon the value to Profit centre.
Can you help if ther is any user exit hat will be triggered where i can put in this code to derive the brand.

Hi,
In your valuation strategy (tcode KE4U) you should specify that user exit will be used for record type C.
The user exit in this case is COPA0002.

User exit vriable with several values

Hi,
I need to use a user exit defined variable containing several values; as of now I have only used single values and plain ranges... any tips on which values to assign to the E_T_RANGE table line ?

Hi Thibault,
You can do this as multiple single values.
Create an internal table and fill with required values. Loop from this internal table and append values one by one as multiple single values into E_T_Range.
Sample code.
Loop at lt_data.
e_t_range-sign = 'I'.
e_t_range-option = 'EQ'.
e_t_range-low = Lt_data-<field1> .
append e_t_range.
endloop.

Pre-validation user exit to replace input values (unit of measure)

Hi experts,
I have a quick question in regard to applying a user exit when saving data through an input template into a real-time cube. I'm not a planning expert, but what I'm trying to achieve is to replace a field value with another one before any validations take place (folks submit a row with UoM 'TIB' and I need to change that to 'TB' before saving the data?
The issue here is that in the above exampe 'TIB' is a UOM that gets extracted from a non-SAP source and there's no ETL process in place that could take care of that before it gets input/loaded into BW (IP). Also that UOM isn't maintined in BW.

Hi,
I would add a rebooking function directly after the step where the data is loaded or entered and just change the value of UOM in the rebooking.

COR1 -User Exit -for changing Component values

Hi,
We have following exits for COR1.Can anybody help me in locating the right match for my requirement.My need to change the item requiremnet quantities in material tab of COR1 t-code.
I tried PPCO0008 & PPCO0001.For some reason it does'nt reflect the changes.
For PPCO0008 even though i keep a break-point it is not stopping at this.

BADI/USER-EXIT to chnage the value during MIRO

Thanks for reply . We have already defined sort key as 14 , but in MIRO posted FI document it is not populating PO number . So we need to go for BADI/User_Exit .
As per SAP note 392342 , INVOICE_UPDATE can not change the value in MIRO .

Passing Multiple Single values in User Exits

Hello All,
I have a requirement where in, a user could enter either a single value, multiple single values or a combination of a range and single values.
This set of values need to be passed on to a variable with in a user exit. I have been able to get either one single value to pass or one single range. I am unable to pass on multiple single values or a combo of a range and single value from the user entry.
I would appreciate if anyone could help me with the structure of the code to pass multiple single values or combo.
I was wondering if I would need to pass the values into an internal table first and then pass it to the user exit variable. However, as I am not a strong ABAP resource, I am struggling.
Any and all help is deeply appreciated.

There are two requirements which I was trying to address.
1. IN few queries, the users enter either a range of profit centers or multiple single values in the pop-up window. I need to pass those values from that variable to an variable of type USer Exit to derive partner profit center values with in the query.
For this I have been able to pass values for either a single value or a single range. I am unable to pass on values for multiple single values or a combo of a range and single values.
2. I am trying to create a query for the top 5 customers to be used in the Corporate Performance Monitor. However, when I am trying to use the variable of type "replacement path", the system does not allow me to release it for OLE DB for OLAP.
To obviate this problem, I was hoping to create a variable of typeUSer Exit" and then pass the values from the variable of type "replacement path" to this variable.
Is it a workable solution? I was hoping that the method to pass the values in both the above scenarios might be similar.
Please guide me.

User exit to sense the field value change ?

Hi Guru,
Our ABAPer created 4 customized fields in "Addition data A" and the requirement is once the value of these customized fields' are changed, copy (overwrite) the changed value to material description on the "sales" View
Is there any user exit can sense the value change from the customized fields ?

USEREXIT_CHECK_VBAP in program MV45AFZB is called when the field is changed.

How to find which are the user exits that updating z table.

There was a question posted by someone else which said:
I have a z table. my requirement is to find the user exits that update the value to this table?
but my requirement is to get only those user exits that update my z table.
Before that question was rejected, it got 5 replies which made me think that this tip is worth sharing.
So the steps are:
Do a where-used list search from SE11
Click on Search Range button at bottom
Type UPDATE (you can also add Insert, Delete etc to select-option) to ABAP Key Words field
Say No to the popup that asks whether to include Fields of the Table
Result will show relevant programs with code snippets doing static Update on that custom table.

EWK1 would be too performance heavy in this case. It scans the source code to get the result.
You can however, download the list of programs given in where-used list, and give that as limiting condition in EWK1 or some other code scanning utility.
Using my method, where-used list of table is taken from database tables, and then code scanning is done only on the that list, not on entire Z* programs.
Try it yourself to notice the speed difference.

Badi or User exit for CJ20N..Milestone date

If u wish to have details of wbs only..by entering WBS ELEMENT in I_WBS_ELEMENT_TABLE u have to give

then only u will get deatils of corresponding wbs via bapi BAPI_PROJECT_GETINFO.
In the milestone internal table you will have all the dates.

Add ordered quantity to delivery note idoc desadv01 with user exit

Hi,
I am using the IDOC DESADV01 to output electronic delivery info when a user PGIs on a delivery note.
The problem is I need some extra data like the original order qty, this exists in field VBAP-KWMENG
So I think I would need to extend the idoc and do some kind of user exit to populate the value into the new idoc field.
Unfortunately I have no experience with this, can anybody advise if its the correct way and how to get started?

How to put bin information to table T_QMAT thru user exit for stock remove?

I have already use stock removal strategy 'F' and checked the flag 'User exit active', but the value in table T_QMAT filled by the standard system not include all vendors. So I need to use stock removal strategy " " and set up the table T_QMAT by the user exit.
Do you know what is the user exit and the ABAP coding to put bin information to table T_QMAT for stock removal?

Hi Chris,
You can use the exit: EXIT_SAPLL03A_005 to populate t_qmat table based on your requirements. As you have already mentioned, it is important to check the flag: User exit active in SPRO, but bear in mind the stock removal strategy has to be BLANK. If you use F, then standard SAP auto-populates the T_QMAT table.

Calculating with formula variables of type user exit

I created the following query:
Rows: Characteristic = Employee
Column: KYF = Status
Filter: Year, Month
The KYF ist a formula containing a formula variable. This variable of type user exit should return a value recording to the value of employee and has to be read in a customizing (data-) table by the user exit.
Is it possible to read the values of employee row by row from the internal table which contains the amount of data before processing to output screen and fill the 'Status'-KYF or should I create a virtual keyfigure for this case.

It seems like Status is master data of Employee.
As per your process, if you do either formula variable or virtual keyfigure you will face query performance problem. More over you cant simply access record by record characteristic value in formula variable. It will be another complex process like you have to call the characteristic value via replacement path.
You have the following choices:
You mentioned master data is availabe in custom table. Try to pull the custom table master data into employee info object. Maintain status as one of the attribute of the master data. Then you can display Status value simply in the report. This will be global access like you use this Status value n number of info providers which is having Employee as one of the info object in the info provider.
If the previous way is not possible, include the Status in the info provider level and write a simple update routine to populate the values. This will be info provider level.
I am not sure whether you are in development environment or productive. If developement, then you can choose simply any one of the above ways.
