User ID change it to WordPress User list?

Hi,
I am using Wordpress, which has PHP and MySql. I want my users to login to my website regularly via a LinkedIn API plugin or Facebook API plugin. (using http://www.oneall.com/)
Then open VideoPhoneLabs.swf on my webpage.
* Instead of the User inputting his own username on VideoPhoneLabs, I want to just grab his name as registered on my website to be his/her Username.
Simple as that. But I have no idea how to do it.
The alternative I was thinking about was, the user goes to VideoPhoneLabs and then does a LinkedIn API Flash connect (http://www.curiousm.com/labs/2011/03/09/connect-to-linked-in-api-from-as3-and-adobe-air/). This is for AIR.... and this is much a more work for the Users.
Question:
1. When the user is login to my website via WordPress, do anything trigger in MySql? If so, I can find a PHP script with query like GET UserID WHERE .... etc.
2. Can I update a XML file whenever a User logins to WordPress, and then have PHP script to parse the latest update? But I do know if this would even work.......
3. How can I simply just get the name??? sigh..

I had a similar question the other day and managed to get it sorted, hopefully you are well on the way. What you need to know is just typing the users name in the box and pressing connect calls the web service (the python script provided with the example) and asks if anyone is connected with that username. All I have done to trick this is used Django (python web framework, PHP should work) to provide request.user (or echo the users name from PHP) as a flashvar and then set the flash to autoconnect using that user. Basically it just bypasses the user being able to choose their own username. Whenever the user refreshes the page they are automatically reconnected with their username. It is a very easy change but I can e-mail you once I have open sourced my code. Should be in the next week or so. If you get stuck post some contact details and ill get in touch. This should be all you need. Basically setup wordpress with user accounts or facebook or linkedIn or whatever you want. Then load the page with the flash on with the currently logged in user being passed as a flashvar.
Sorry to repeat myself I just wanted to be as clear as possible, my memory is not the best. You will have problems with users that aren't online, at the moment if you try and call a user that isnt online the whole lot fails and the application disconnects, you will probably need to change this behaviour. If you can wait about a week or so I have made these changes, added a security code to prevent somebody logging in as somebody else with a modified client and a few more things. It will be up on github as soon as its tidied up.

I added a list view web part into a SharePoint 2013 page and it is working as expected, except for one thing.
I have enabled the option for the user to change the view for the web part. However when the user changes it, the user is redirected away from the page containing the web part, to the URL of the list itself.
Is there a way to circumvent this issue so when the user selects a different view it updates the listing in the web part itself, rather than the user being redirected?

Hi,
Please understand that one page can only display one view. You could find it out by observing the Address in browser when switching among different views for a list.
If you would like to change the view of a list web part, you could go to web part propertites > Select view and configure it.

ISE 1.2 Guest portal user cannot change their passwords

I have a WLC 5508(version 7.6) and a server installed the ISE (version 1.2.1.198)，Now we configured the CWA，Use guest portal as an employee and guest login url，We can use the manually create internal user and password successfully logged in, and we set up allow guest users to change password in Multi-Portal, but the user can not change the password in the guest portal ,I suspect the change password option on the Guest Portal actually works? Can anyone tell me how to change their own username password in the guest portal ?

Requiring Guests to Change Password
You can allow or require guest users to change their password after their initial account credentials are created by the sponsor. If guest users change their passwords, sponsors cannot provide guests with their login credentials if they are lost. The sponsor must create a new guest account.
You can either allow guests to change their passwords, or you can require that they do it at expiration and at first login. To require internal users using a guest portal to change their password upon their next login, choose Administration > Identity Management > Identities > Users . Select the specific internal user from the Network Access Users list and enable the change password check box.
Before You Begin
Create a Guest portal or modify the DefaultGuestPortal. This setting is specific to each Guest portal.
Step 1 Choose Administration > Web Portal Management > Settings > Guest > Multi-Portal Configuration.
Step 2 Check the Guest portal to update and click Edit .
Step 3 Click the Operations tab.
Step 4 Check either or both options:
Allow guest users to change password
Require guest users to change password at expiration and first login

To get it to your new Apple ID, you would need to change it back to your old on so you can turn off Find My Device and turn it off. Once that is done, change it back to what you are currently using now. Take a look at the article below for more information.

To enable users to change the Payment Terms in A/R, please give the user Full Authorization for Price Lists (Inventory -> Price Lists -> Price Lists).

Form control to stop user from changing setting

I have a list when the form is opened only those users in a Group, 2nd list… can change the some of the columns in the list. Making half the list read-only to the 2nd group I have the "edit" form setup as two pages with buttons
to flip back and forth.
The 2nd page is the one I am tiring to control. I don't care if they can see it, but I don't want change it. I have tried https://stevessharepointnuggets.blogspot.com/2012/05/infopath-2010-restricting-control.html but this is based off of two user groups
those who can see the button and those that cannot. If the user is in both lists, this does not work. All users is in one group (any user in SharePoint)
I thought about adding the group of users to the form by workflow when created but from there I can find a way to capture the user that opened the form to compare to the list column.

I think maybe the cleanest way is with server-sided scripting
(php, asp,
...). The form page would create a session/cookie based on

input, then the 3 other pages would check for that
session/cookie and if
it exists, let them in. If it does not exist, redirect to
another

How to change the order of users in appearance of login screen?

The order users show up on the login screen is the way they are ordered under the
C:/Users directory. This is usually alphabetical, AFAIK there is no other way to change the order other than to change the username to something that starts with a letter that will be higher alphabetically.

Hi Dharmendra,
Please set an authorization trace in ST01 and then ask the user to execute the transaction and the steps on the same application server as the o ne on which the trace has been set (valid in case we are talking about mutiple application servers for same <SID>). After this is done switch off the trace,list it and fill all the authorization objects. That might give you the perfect idea.

RSOP: Interactive logon: Prompt user to change password before expiration

Hi,
I am trying to implement a GPO so that users are prompted to change their password 5 days before it expires. I have done this via -
Computer Configuration > Windows Settings > Security Settings > Local Policies > Security Options > Enabled

I think I have managed to get this working. I changed the source of the policy to a different GPO. I then did the following -
From a command prompt run gpupdate (without the force parameter)
Ran rsop.msc and checked the policy and this time there was no red circle with an X
Have done the same on a few users machines and it appears to apply successfully. I say this because when you go into the properties for the policy you see the following -
The policy XYZ was correctly applied
Just have to wait and see if it actually does what it says on the can.

    Run BAPI transaction and search for USER in the alphabetical order list of BAPI's, there you will find BAPI's related to User Creation, Change, etc.

But my question is:
Does anyone know how "to mark" certain group of Users (mainly system admin accounts) - that this setting will not force periodical passoword change for "marked" users ?

There are a couple of things you could do to circumnavigate this all or nothing option.
You could write a maxl statement that would update the user profile to force the user to change their password e.g.
alter user Fiona set password_reset_days immediate;
I would write a program using the API that lists all users in the group and then dynamically create the maxl script that uses the statement above.
If you can not use the API then I guess you could do a maxl only solution (using display user command) and do some text file manipulation in perl (or another scripting language).
There are probably more solutions/ideas out there.

I have a requirement to make REASON field required if user has changed the value in SALARY field. Is it possible using spel? what are my options?

You can change the Rendered Property through personalization.
But in your requirement you need to attach the Spell through personalization & extend the existing CO to set the value of the SPELL based upon the condition.

Using alter user to change oracle password for logged in web user on XE

I'm building an app using the pl/sql web toolkit on XE (installed on Win XP Pro SP2). (I'm not using the APEX front-end).
I'm using basic authentication and oracle database user accounts, and when a user registers for the first time I create them an oracle user account with dynamic sql, followed by some initial setup stuff, and they then log in with it.
All fine so far.
However I want to allow the user to change their oracle password as part of maintaining their user details. I've done this in the past using the web toolkit and Oracle 9i and it has worked fine using dynamic sql.
Unfortunately I can't get the same thing to work in XE.
For example, if I create the following procedure in the schema aligned to the DAD which holds my application and then run it from a browser (IE or Firefox) then the

If I run the same statement in SQL*plus it's fine, and if I run the same proc for a different user then it's fine too.
I'm sure it's something to do with trying to change the credentials of the currently logged in user, but I would at least have expected an error message.
I'd be grateful for any ideas.

Sorry, yes, bad turn of phrase there. It's not the entire db that hangs. The web browser (either IE or FF) hangs, and if I look at v$session at this point, I can see that the user STATUS=ACTIVE and the STATE=WAITING.
I should also point out that I am using standard Oracle users as users of the application, (e.g. create a new user account called TESTER1). These users are then granted the appropriate privileges on the owning schema in order to run the app, access the tables etc.
Therefore it is the user account (e.g. TESTER1) that is running the password change procedure that is owned by the SYS schema. (However again, this is the exact code and method that I've used in the past and it has worked fine).
If I leave the browser hanging long enough, it will eventually return with the following error:
Proxy Error
The proxy server received an invalid response from an upstream server.
The proxy server could not handle the request POST /h/hopapp.pwdmaint_do.
Reason: Error reading from remote server
