User LIS average ratios instead of sum

Hi guys,
Im creating a user LIS, i know that when creating LIS on MC21 there is flag with indicates if its reasonable to add the values on this ratio, and i need to know if by any chance instead of adding the rations on LIS, system can make an average of them. See in LIS MCI7 system calculate MTBF & MTBR and average them, how can i make that with a user created ratio.
Thanks.

Hello,
Plese see below the correct syntax for the SUM function
The following examples are applicable to both Basic and Crystal syntax:
Sum({file.QTY})
Calculates the sum of all values in the QTY field.
Sum({orders.AMOUNT}, {orders.CUSTOMER ID})
Sums (totals) the orders in each group of orders in the Amount field. The orders are separated into groups whenever the value in the Customer ID field changes.
Sum({orders.AMOUNT}, {orders.DATE}, "monthly") % Sum({orders.AMOUNT })
Groups values in the Amount field by month, and calculates the sum of the values for each month group as a percentage of the sum of the values for the entire report.
Sum([{file.AMOUNT}, {file.PRICE}, {file.COST}])
Sum of values in the Amount, Price, and Cost fields.

    Here are responses against your queries
    1. does your PO have an account assignment? - No. This is a Material PO
    2. Was the invoice posed in advance to the goods receipt? - No. In fact invoices are still to be posted. However, there is an advance payment to the vendor. Not sure if this has anything to do?

    my new iphone was stolen today. I'm trying to track it via icloud but it shows the average ratio that the phone is disconnected. Are there any other way to track the phone. Thanks for your help.

    If the phone is turned off, doesn't have an internet connection, or has been restored preventing "Find my iPhone" from being able to work, there is no other way to track it.

  • Plan cost splitting is as per average basis instead of capacity base

    Dear Experts:
    I have planned the activity independent cost in cost center : CCTRA
    I do have two activities named: ACT1 and ACT2
    I have done the activity capacity planning in KP26
    Created the splitting structure and assigned the cost center.
    Splitting rule taken as 23- capacity based splitting
    When I perform KSS4,
    System split the fixed cost equally instead of capacity planned in KP26.
    My Settings:  In KP26:
    I have maintained the planned activity quantity in capacity tab
    Distribution Key - 2 (Distribution as before)
    Plan Price Indicator - 2 (Plan price, automatically based on capacity)
    In KL01: Under Allocation default values tab:
    Activity type category - 1
    Price indicator - 2
    Check box for plan quantity set
    In KL01: Under variances for actual allocation:
    Actl Acty Type Cat. - Blank (As in planning)
    Act. price indicato - 6 (Actual price, automatically based on capacity)
    OKEQ Settings: Price calculation tab:
    Plan Method: Average price
    Tried Period price also.
    I need to split the cost as per capacity planning.
    Please guide me.
    Thanks
    Surya

    Hi Makrand,
    Point No.1: When you say that the system is not considering the values you planned in KP06 but considering the values which have come by Distribution, system is behaving correctly.
    Because, when you do the planning in KP06 for certain cost elements, you are doing it against certain activity type. So, for the cost elements which you planned in KP06, splitting structure is not applicable.
    Splitting structure will be applicable for the expenses which have come through distribution only.
    Point No.2: When you say that for the cost elements which you have not mentioned in splitting structure are also being considered in the same way as those of mentioned in splitting structure, i would suggest you to check the cost element group.
    If not, pls give the rule "equal distribution among the activity types" for those cost elements which dont need to be absorbed based on activity quantity.
    I hope this will work out...

  • Sum() function not working properly. Instead of summing, its showing total count of the rows

    We have migrated one application from .net framework 1.0 to .net framework  2 (from Visual studio 2003 to Visual STUDIO 2005). Now after migration we are facing some problem related to the sum function in Crystal report 10. It is not working properly.
    So we migrated to Crystal report XI release 2 (though still using evaluation version for testing purpose), the problem is not yet resolved.
    The problem we are facing is while using the summary in the group field, it is showing the number of rows instead of the sum of the values.
    We have checked the same with min-max functions, and it is working properly with those.
    We have tried to make the sum by formula field. In such case, it is not showing any syntactical error but at execution time, it is throwing an error saying "A number field or currency amount field is required here".
    In the  the report the datatype of the field on which we are applying the sum function, is number, and in the table from where the data is fetched, the datatype is numeric(9,6).
    Any idea why sum function is not working ?
    I was browsing the net and saw running totals can be a work around for such summation issues in Crystal Report XI.
    Can you please provide insight of how to implement running totals for summation purpose in solving such issues.

    Hi,
    Running totals are more accurate than Summary Totals in Crystal.  Why? ...ask Crystal.  Anyway, just right click on Running Totals, create a new one, and enter you fields, etc. For group totals, it gives you a place to reset the totals for each group, etc.  Pretty self explainatory.

  • Call transfer to user rings whole office instead of user.

    I'm a new IT person for my company and I've run into a strange problem. One of our users in one of our offices has the problem that whenever he gets a call transferred to him the whole office rings instead of only his phone. He is the only one that is
    having this issue everyone else can be transferred to fine. He has no call forwarding option, and I've even changed the number he has been using. I've compared his offices response group with another office that is working and I can't see anything different.
    I'm pretty new to Lync so I'm not sure how to fix this, something tells me to probably an easy fix I just don't know it.

    When you say it says it's ringing the office, does that mean it looks like it's ringing Bob, Mary, John directly?  That's really really strange, it doesn't happen for any other user, so I wouldn't expect it to be REFER support or something else.
    It doesn't matter if you change his number.  It doesn't happen when he's directly dialed, so I wouldn't expect it to be a duplicate number or odd translation.
    The next step I'd take is to run the logger on the front end and watch SIPStack, I'd also run a logger on your PSTN gateway and see if you can see anything odd happening there.  I know you're new to Lync, but I think you just got dropped in the deep
    end :)
    A few more questions:
    How do calls reach Lync?  What sort of gateway, IP-PBX, or SIP trunk are you using?
    If he's not logged in, and the call is transferred, does it still ring others or go right to his voicemail?
    If that computer is shut down, and he logs into another computer, does the same issue persist?
    If you completely blast his Lync account, remove it from Lync:
    http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/jj688008.aspx and set him up from scratch with a new number, can you get it to come back?  If that works, I'd try to give him his old number back and see if it's related to his old number, perhaps it's
    something buried in your gateway or SBC.

  • How to Send SAP User to Spool Job instead of SAPService SID

    Dear Gurus,
    I have to print data using access method C (or L) via print server that runs on win 2008.
    SAP AS runs on win 2003.
    It works fine, but user which appears in print job is SAPService<SID>. We need here sap user who actually initiated printing. It can be obtained easily by chaning access method to G. However, this solution is not acceptable.
    Thank you in advance,

    Problem solved on OS level by introducing anonymous log on.

  • User query - Average payment days

    Hi,
    I made a query to calculate the average number of days of payment for a customer using the journal transactions:
    +SELECT AVG((DateDiff(DD, JDT1.DueDate, JDT1.MthDate)))
    FROM OJDT INNER JOIN JDT1 ON OJDT.TransId = JDT1.TransId LEFT JOIN ORCT ON OJDT.TransId = ORCT.TransId
    WHERE (JDT1.TransType = 13 OR JDT1.TransType = 203) AND JDT1.shortname='C0001' AND (JDT1.balduedeb-JDT1.balduecred) = 0 AND (ORCT.BoeSum = 0 OR ORCT.BoeSum IS NULL)+
    But now I have a problem with payments made in the presence of Bill of Exchange because, in this case,  the reconciliation date coincides with that of incoming payment and not with the expiration date of the Bill of Exchange.
    Do you have any suggestions to improve this query???
    Thanks!

    Hi,
    I don't have BOE to try your query. To solve the problem, you need to separate your query to two to deal with different type first. After you got the correct result, you can combine them.
    Thanks,

  • Having Percentage on the Totals line instead of SUM

    Hi,
    I have a report with several number columns and several percentage columns. I need to show a totals line with grand totals for the number columns, and overall percentage for the percentage columns - how can I achieve this? I guess there is a more general question about showing any non-SUM summary function on the totals line, such as AVG, COUNT, MIN, MAX etc.
    I could do it as a UNION I suppose but then I have the problem of formatting the totals line, and this wouldn't really work for break groups, only a grand total.
    Any ideas?
    Steve

    You might want to look into the CUBE, ROLLUP and GROUPING SETS (OLAP) extensions to the GROUP BY clause in SQL. They generate intermediate subtotals, break totals, grand totals, etc using plain SQL.
    Here is a quick example of what I mean
    http://htmldb.oracle.com/pls/otn/f?p=24317:190
    I have chosen to use SUM(SAL), AVG(COMM) and MAX(SAL) as the aggregates, you can modify this as per your requirements.
    The query is
    select
    empno,ename,job,deptno,
    sum(sal) sum_sal,
    avg(comm) avg_comm,
    max(sal) max_sal
    from emp
    group by rollup(empno,ename,job,deptno)
    having  grouping_id(empno,ename,job,deptno) in (0,15)The GROUPING_ID gives a binary "bitmap" of which columns are showing a detail row vs. a aggregate/super-aggregate row. In this case, we want to show the lowest level of detail (0) and the highest grand total (15=binary 1111 or all bits turned on)
    Again, you can tweak this to show intermediate subtotals, just take out that HAVING clause to see what you get and modify as needed.
    Hope this helps.

  • Realm or user/pass in flatfile instead of dB?

    My boss is asking me to set up an authentication using glassfish v2. I am instructed to NOT use a dB. she says that IIS uses a file called web.config and can have authorization for certain parts of the website as well as user password. And she wants me to find the javaEE comparitive to this. I have been doing research for 2 days now and I can only see setting up a realm to point to a jdbc. Is there some built in xml file that I can put user/password data for the glassfish security to reference and maybe set it up in the realm?
    any help is appreciated.
    Thank you

    thanks for the help. ha
    i found an answer. fileRealm. easy right... wrong can't get it to work. posted another question maybe someone can answer this one?

  • ReturnType="user-defined" returns wddx instead of SOAP

    No matter what I try, CF never returns a valid SOAP response
    when I try to use a CFC as a return type. When I call the cartShow
    method remotely, I get back wddx.
    cart2.cfc?method=cartShow&cookie_id=73BF9A83-CC22-47E7-8D25EA72746CDF32

    Hi Dan,
    Thanks for coming back with a suggestion.
    Unfortunately, it results in the same thing.
    Quick Example:
    From CFC:
    <cffunction name="StructTest" access="remote"
    returntype="any">
    <cfargument name="argString" required="Yes"
    type="string">
    <cfset var result = structNew()>
    <cfset structInsert(result,"Dan","Daniel Mackey")>
    <cfset structInsert(result,"Sam","Sam Kidd")>
    <cfset structInsert(result,"Peter","Peter Coppinger")>
    <cfreturn result>
    </cffunction>
    From C#
    LPS.WebServiceTest lps = new LPS.WebServiceTest();
    LPS.Map map;
    map = (LPS.Map)lps.StructTest("Dan");
    MessageBox.Show(map.item.ToString());
    The same thing occurs.
    map.item is null
    If I invoke this from ColdFusion, the correct data is
    returned :-(
    The exact C# message is :
    "Object reference not set to an instance of an object." and
    if I test map.item it is in fact Null.
    Arrays, Strings, Queries are all working fine.
    This is driving me nuts out of principle in that it should be
    fine.
    Map contains item which is an array of mapItems, each with a
    Key/Value pair.
    I could work around it by using an Array of Arrays SOAP type
    (Convert the struct to an array which each element being a 2
    element array for the key/values) but out of principle its eating
    away at my will to live like a SOAP/C# brain cancer ;-)

  • Sum and Average Group Wage instead of Details Wage

    I have a subreport where I have included all of our employment records and grouped it by employee ID. In the Group Footer, to show the latest employment record I used the Max(Start Date) and I have also placed the Hourly Wage field here which shows the appropriate Wage for the Max Date. But I can't seem to use the Sum or Average Summary because it Sums and Averages All Wages in the Details report vs. only the latest record.
    So, how do I Sum/Average the wages for only the last employment record Or how do I create the report to show only the Last Employment Record?
    I'm using Crystal XI. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks

    Place the fields in group header instead of placing in details section using maximum() function. Now got to report>record sort expert>add start date field-->select descending order.
    Now the report shows latest date entries for each group.
    If you want to calcualte the sum then use mannual running totals like
    create a formula like
    @sum:
    whileprintingrecords;
    numbervar i;
    i:=i+{field}
    Now place this in group header and supress
    create another formula like
    @Total:
    whileprintingrecords;
    numbervar i;
    place this in report footer which gives grand total.

  • By default in BPC values are sum in node level, It does not make sense to sum averages on parent nodes.

    HI Guys
    we have an business requirement to store data in average figures ,
    The values  are entered on the base member level but in reports we need to show average values  on the parents level instead of sum
    ( by default in BPC values are sum in node level),it does not make sense to sum averages on parent nodes.
    we managed it with excel formulas ,but we r facing the problem with dimensions which are in context.
    (i tried using dim memeber formulas but AVG key word is not accepting the system in member formulas)
    at last by using formula we managed the report but im worried abt that if there is no formulas ,how we will manage
    pls suggest any solution to show average values on the node level in specific reports

    Hi Krao,
    Please define what do you mean by average - arithmetic average or weighted average (has more business sense to my mind).
    Also, please provide some samples, explaining dimensions used in average calculation.
    In our case we use dimension member formulas to show average prices, discounts etc. in the reports.
