User Master export terminated with error

Hi Experts,
When I am trying to take user master export; after some time is ends with error 'Communication error, CPIC return code 017, SAP return code 672'
When I check the transport log it has the error

I alert log file i found that smon process was terminated with error.Below is the contents of the alert log file.

ORACLE_HOME is on mount point u03, checked config.properties but no mention of mount point /u01.
Dont know from where /u01 came. Could you please help me re configuring the env pointing to /u03.

Ensure that the report name is correct. Also ensure that the report exist in REPORTS_PATH environment variable. Otherwise run the report including the reports path.

Your basic problem seems to be you have a trigger, which wants to use OLAP functionality, but OLAP is not installed or not available for whatever reason

Hi,
We are running a Mountain Lion Server with Open Directory / LDAPv3, as far as I can tell. My responsibility is to get my CentOS 6.3 box running Samba v. 3.5.10-125.el6 to authenticate users against the ML / OD box. I can ssh to the CentOS box OK and I can get Guest access to the Samba share to go OK too. Also, the OD passwords on the LDAP server are set to 'Open Directory' so I guess that means that they are encrypted and the Samba server is set to send encrypted passwords. But when a user tries to properly authenticate using either say via a Mac client Finder [Command-K], or smbclient, the Samba server will generate this message:
check_ntlm_password: Authentication for user ['name'] -> ['name'] FAILED with error NT_STATUS_LOGON_FAILURE
(I am blanking out the user name on purpose).
Of course there is more to the story, but those are the basics.

Turns out a printer driver installed on an XP (even W2K(?)) was (apparently?) flooding the OS X SMB server to the point of collapse. Uninstalling the "HP Tools" part of the driver cleared it up. The printer is an HP LJ1300. I had downloaded the full driver from HP.com. I don't know if any/all these conditions need to be matched, but: the printer was on the network using an HP print server JetDirect EX Plus, and the computer(s) in question were connecting directly to it (not via a print server). It's been too long ago, but there were always several errors in the System Log (Win XP Event Viewer) that correlated with the errors on the OS X server.
Proud to say that since that day (10+ months ago) I've not seen it happen again. whew.

Oracle DB 10g installed on Windows 2003 Server machine and client is Windows 7 Pro. Forms are running fine. If I run report by puting everything in URL it is also giving result. Dear community,
I have OAS 10.1.2.3.0 installed on Windows server 2008R2, it's a test environment. Everything is working OK, expect running one specific report. It is failing with REP-56048: Engine rwEng-0 crashed. I am running report with destype=cache desformat=pdf, but it doesn't work with spreadsheet or html either.
I have enabled tracing and this is what I get in the log:

I tried to increase cache in reports_server.conf and setting up JVM "Xmx512M -Xms128M -Xss512k" for reports server engine, none of these configuration settings worked.
Please advise if there is anything I can configure to bypass this problem.

The problem was solved by adding another report server with "SERVER_IN_PROCESS=NO" parameter in rwservlet.properties file.

ORA-00480: LCK* process terminated with error

RA-00480: LCK* process terminated with error very frequently getting this said error in our oracle 10g RAC database.
We have Node1 / Node2,
Node1 : we have scheduled jobs running & in addition to that end user access the database.
Node2: 24*7 application process the jobs runnning.
your suggestion / comments will be highly appreciated.

on a linux ASE System I get the following error on executing stopdb:

Hi experts,
When I run a report in Oracle 10gR2 forms, I got a error "Terminated with error". So I checked my report queue I found this error "Terminated with error: <br>REP-56048: Engine rwEng-0 crashed, job Id: 53 ".
For this error I tried to solve by doing the following steps,
1. increased the cache
2. jvmOptions="-Xms512m -Xmx512m"
My system configurations are,
Windows 7
4gb ram
disk space 100gb
I have my database & application server in same machine.

Do the following:
1. It is necessary to modify the engine definition to include :
jvmOptions="-Xmx512M -Xms128M -Xss512k"
How to do it, depends on the version of Report Server in use :
a. For version 10gR2 (10.1.2.x) :
Backup your Reports server .conf file and Modify the rwEng parameters and add :
jvmOptions="-Xmx512M -Xms128M -Xss512k"
b. For version 11g (11.X), this has to be done through Enterprise Manager. In Enterprise Manager, locate your Report Server and go to "Basic Configuration" page then insert :
-Xmx512M -Xms128M -Xss512k
into the field "JVM Options" and "Apply" your changes.
* The important option is "Xss" that sets the maximum stack size that can be used by C code in a thread.
3. Restart your reports server and try to run again with DESFORMAT=SPREADSHEET

Is your listener running? If not check your logs ...
Often you get this when DB isn't running and SAP needs to connect in order to start.
Also consider this - that if your environment is on cluster technology then startsap won't work - you will need something like this:
- As sidadm
startdb
startsap -t r3 -i ASCS00 -v c123biXXXacsxx
startsap -t r3 -i DVEBMGS00 -v c123dbXXXdbqxx

Hi Jin,
If you talk about default .metadata folder of your NWDS work space then do as below.
1. Open NWDS
2. Click on Window-->Preference
3. Expand "Workbench" and select "Work Space" on right side you will see path for default work space for user.
4. Go to that path i explorer you will see .metadeta folder.
