User to DB Table

I am trying to provision user to DB table how ever while creating the GTC i am facing an issue.
Once i enter all the input values and click next the admin console takes me to the home page rather than the mapping screen...Below is the details from the log file

I have already did a text file provisioning as writing a code for text file is preety simple.Now the issue is its nt a text file so it really makes me feel difficult to start.
More over If u can please help me I need to ask you one more question.

what makes me really confuse is where to use these java code?

I have created one master table "@CBF_FARM " and Child table "@CBF_FAR1"
First i inserted 5 record in the child table so in my my child table there are 5 Line id (1,2,3,4,5 one for each row).
after that i delete 2 rows (3rd & 4th row) from child table now in my child table there are 3 rows( Line id 1, 2, 5). Please See attachment.

What i understood is you have 5 lines and you are going to be update 5th line
am i correct..
while u are updating the line in child table
you have to consider like this..
line number         u have to update like
1                                        0
2                                        1
3                                        2
4                                        3
5                                        4
which means in child table treat
line 1 as 0
line 2 as 1
line 5 as 4
If you want to update the line 5 u have to mention 4 th line

To exclude transactions, which are not manual journal entries, a table should be created with exclusions.
*This table will contain two types of exclusions:*
Document types which will never been used for manual journal entries, since their nature is system related (SAP R/3 standard). In principle, this table will be fixed

which are not related to persons, but to automatic transactions. This table needs to be verified and updated on regular basis.

Don't use IN. Use some other way to query the table, some way that will return usable results no matter what (if anything) is in the table, like this:

I've created a User Master data table named 'MyTable'. i want to add data to this table but there is an error which occur : 'to generate this. First Define the Numbering Series in the Administration Module'. I want to add data to this table using C# code, without using UDO.

Delete a user from a table whose name is a foreign key in other tables

Dear All;
I am trying to figure out an easy way to do this. I just recently took someone application who utilized 500 tables. I am trying to delete a user from a table called member_table. However, I am having problems doing so because the user name is a foreign key in other tables which has a relationship with this member_table. I really can't naviagte through all 500 different tables and start deleting the user from each table . hence, I would like to figure out a way to delete the user from the member_table without getting the error message

Unless you want to find and re-create all of the FK's that point to that field so you can make them ON DELETE CASCADE (note it is the FK not the PK that has that attribute), you will need to either delete that member id from each of the child tables individually or update each one individually to either null or some valid value in member_table before you can delete the id from member_table.
You can find all of the tables, and the corresponding column_name that have an FK relationship to memeber_table with the following:

Another User Modified the table

Hi,
I have a user defined form, which is bound to Master-Data UDO.
I have matrices in the form which is bound to its child objects.
Following problem happens once in a while:
When I press update button, I get the error message 'Another User Modified the table'.
This is not consistent, but happens once in a while.
My SBO version is 2007.
In what situations you will get the error - "Another User Modified the table" ?
Please help me with this.

Thanks for your reply.
In my case, I take back-up of the database from client site and bringing into our in-house.
If clients complained about record# 25, then the same record# has the 'Another user' issue in in-house also. (By record# I mean the Master UDO DocEntry#).
So, I think the locking is stored in the database, rather than in a PC specific place.
Please tell me any ideas you get in this angle.

Importing Users from external table in obiee 11g

Do any one help me giving suggestions that how we can import users from external table.
I am using obiee 11.1.1.6.
In that external table Which i am using there are 56K users.
They are able to login to obiee analytics.
But for setting object level security I need to make diffrent groups with these users to assign the dashbords and required objects in front end.
But how can we get all these users into BI server or presentation server to make them into groups.

or if your lowest level is the same like
Day->month->year->Total
Day->businessMonth->businessyear->Total
Then yes, it is.
Create the first, then you start to create the second by adding your top(business year) level on the same level as the one you have (year) both under your total.
Then when you would add your second base level, there is a special option for it, something like use other hierarchy level/shared level (sorry can't recall and does not have a connection right now) then you select your existing day level under your businessmonth level.

What does "Not implemented in this database" mean?

What the page is saying that MTL_ONHAND_QUANTITIES is not a table. It is a view.
The main table underlying the view is mtl_onhand_quantities_detail.
After you perform a transaction, the data in this table (and view) is updated automatically.
You don't have to do anything.

Stop user to maintain table thru SM30 !!!!

Hi Guys..
I have created a tcode for a table maintanance. It is working fine. Also i have unchecked Checkbox 'Table Maintance Allowed' to stop table updation thru SE16.
Now i want to stop user to access SM30 to make new entry in that table. User can update table only using that created Tcode.
Is it possible?? if yes, then how..
plz put you views on this..

hi,
if u go to the table Maintenance generator screen,
SE11-> Utlilities->Table Maintenance Generator.
u will see the maintenance screen number. just double click on the screen number and u will get into the flow logic of the screen. get the access key and write the code there to validate the transaction..

How To Restric all kind of access to 2 specific tables in SQL Server for all Users.Instead of table we would like users to go through View.

I am looking at an Technical solution for Restricting the direct access some specific tables in my data base to all the users(Except admins and few Service accounts). However views created on top of these tables would be exposed to all Users.
Could any one help me with the best solution.

Hello,
You can try to create a new role "Client_User" in the database and deny access to the new role on the specify tables. And then add all user which you want to restricting the direct access the specific tables to the database role.
For example:
Use Database
CREATE ROLE [Client_User] AUTHORIZATION db_securityadmin;
DENY SELECT ON OBJECT::schema.table TO [Client_User] ;
EXEC sp_addrolemember 'Client_User', 'username';

Dead Lock what made by another user!(patition table)

I have a question about Dead-Lock!
Our Situation is ..
User "A" made a Patition Table, ACNT_WONJANG
(without any Trigger,Function, Procedure)
When "B" - another user - tried to drop its Partition,
Dead-Lock invoked.
but A droped it's Partition well.
What can i Do?

Multiple Users sharing one Table

Hi Folks,
I'm a newbie with Apex so please treat gently ;-)
Simple "order entry" application: a table for Orders and another table for Order Items. All pretty run of the mill so far,
but instead of one end user (say the vendor company's telephone operator) typing in orders over the telephone for
several customers, consider opening the application to the several customers so that they can type their own orders
themselves.
The collection of Customers isn't that large (say about 12 or so), hence I'm thinking of just giving them distinct Apex logins
to the application.
I can pickup the login name from APP_USER, but how to copy this in behind the scenes to "customerID" in the Orders
table - the "customerID" field does represent a column in a database table, but I want to force it to the Apex login name
for whatever customer that is attempting to insert a new order.
All the Apex demo stuff shows simple order-items solutions; I'm trying to have a single Orders table with a column in it that tells
me which customer sent in this order, and for the customers using this table to only see their own orders from the same table.
If I was implementing this on the database I would use some sort of View such as "select * from orders where customer = user",
therefore every user would only see their bit of the orders table.
But how to implement this in Apex?

Mungo :-)Its important to remember that Apex is nothing other than a framework for creating HTML and running web pages. So what used to be triggers are now standard javascript events. Although you will find help on the forum for javascript and maybe some in the documentation, javascript events are standard and not proprietary like Forms triggers were. Its frustrating, but there are a TON of resources (google) on the basics of javascript. For instance instead of when-validate-trigger, you'll probably look at the onblur event to trigger a piece of javascript code to run your validation. You can use onfocus which would be sort of like when-new-item-instance in Forms-speak.
