UserExit in MM02

Hi all. I need a user exit in transaction MM02. I've tried using the exit MGA00001 but it doesn't seem to work, i activate it and nothing happened.
If anyone knows another exit, i'm using SAP ECC 5.0.

Go to SE37, enter the function module name as EXIT_SAPLMGMU_001. Look at the source code, did you create that include program ZXMG0U02. If not, you need to create it. Double click on it, the system will ask if you want to create it. Put the code inside this include program. To check if it is being fired, put a breakpoint on a line of code inside the include program.
Make sure that the enhancement is activated via SMOD/CMOD.

Bapi making program recursive

i'm using a BAPI inside a userexit in MM02 but problem is that this BAPI itself calls MM02 that is making this BAPI calling recursive and that material remain locked even i come out .how to eradicate it.
i mean how to know that user is calling bapi or system is calling bapi.

BADI or userexit for MM01 and MM02

Hi All,
My requirment is that when the user create a new material, the profit center field should be auto populated from the input Plant. For example, if the plant for this new material is A, then profit center PCA will be populate. The mapping between plant and profit center is very simple.
Furthermore, when the user try to save the material with invalid profit center, the system should create a warning message and automatically change the profit center to the valid one as well.
Right now, i'm looking for either BADI or userexit that would be suitable for my requirement. Does anyone know which BADI or userexit, I should use. Thanks in advance

Finding Userexit in MM01 and MM02

Hi,
I have to find the code given below to fit in which user exit and whether it can be added in exit or not
When executing MM01 and MM02 and entering the units of measure(via basicdata->Additionaldata->units of measure, a check needs to be implemented.when the unit measure(MARA-MEINH) entered is either ZPE,GPE or PAL)
1.Conversion factor (marm-umrez) must not be 1.
2.marm-umrez of GPE must be bigger than ZPE
3.marm-umrez of PAL must be bigger than GPE and bigger than ZPE.
4.marm-umrez of GPE must be a multiple of ZPE
5.marm-umrez of pal must be a multiple of GPE and ZPE.

Protecting long text in MM01 MM02

Hi all
my requirements is to protect material basic data long text (trx MM01, MM02) for a specific user. How can I do that?
Note that I can't use authority object M_MATE_MAN, cause only long text need to be protected.
My SAP release is 4.6C

Hi Stefano,
We had a similar requirement and we used the userexit to do prevent the changes. You can create a dummy auth and then if the field changes you can check this object to allow or disallow the changes.

How to get the values inputted by the user in Classification view of MM02

Hello,
Does anyone know how to get the inputted values in Classification view of MM02/MM01? I tried to use CLAF_CLASSIFICATION_OF_OBJECTS but this gets the values that is currently saved in the tables and not the values that the user recently inputted in the screen.

BADI/UserExit for MIGO in Stock Transfer

Hi Gurus,
I have a requirement.
When posting a GR in MIGO, if the material has been flagged to go through inspection, MIGO post the batch to quality inspection.
Now, when a batch has already gone through inspection (for example in another plant) and its released (passed) and its been transferred to another plant, if we are receiving this batch doing a post GR in MIGO, it automatically post it to quality inspection again.
Is there a BADI, UserExit or way to skip this inspection and post the batch to unrestricted stock since its already gone through inspection in the previous plant and has a Decision Code A0 (accepted etc).
We don't want to change the material master for this because we still want the material/batch to go through quality inspection if its hasn't already been.

Try the possibilities of MB_MIGO_BADI. I think in method LINE_MODIFY, POST_DOCUMENT and perhaps PAI_DETAIL.

Sales Order Costing. Error values, need BAPI or Userexit or Enhancements

Hi Experts,
I have a situation to solve the Errors in Sales Order Costing.
My Error is, its not splitting values equally,,, (BOM Item Price Values)
for example...
let i have a parent Item A.
and Child Items as A1, A2, A3.
Now the Qty of A is 100. for each item the price value is 50. so the total value is 5000/-
Now If i need one A, then I need 8 A1's, 4 A2's, 3 A3's.and let think A1 value and A2 value and A3 value (single Unit ) are equal. and let the value be 100.
but in BOM i can see all the values of A1, A2, A3 as same. (500, 500, 500) but it should be (800, 400, 300)
The single Unit Price is not multiplying with Quantity, but its equally splitting.
Please tell me Can I find and BAPI or Userexit or any enhancements or any Configurations to do.
