Using a picture as a link

I know that if you insert a picture into dreamweaver you can
make it into a link, but, I'd like to have it do some CSS for the
hover property. Usually I would do something like changing the
<a> tag to do it but, maybe I want images to do something
different when hovered over than regular links. How do I add this
sort of CSS selector?

Why the " a.mypicture:hover { background-color:
transparent;}" rule?
In IE6, you must first apply a hover effect to the link
before applying a
hover effect to the image link (go figure!)
Background-color transparent does this without changing the
look of
anything.
If that rule is left out, the border won't change color in
IE6.

How do I use a picture as a hyperlink logo

I have a picture that I would like to use as a logo for a hyperlink, but I haven't the slightest idea how to do it...please help!

Well, sort of...
I added a hyperlink to my desktop and now I would like to change the logo of the hyperlink with a custom logo (a gif/jpeg of my choosing).
Same process for changing the icon to custom. command i opens the info pane on your link that you dragged to the desktop

See picture instead of link of it in infopath form

I have a list that customize with infopath.now I want to when user attach picture on list, instead of see link of that picture, see picture itself. Because user want to print this form and want to see picture
not link of it.

control in InfoPath form. This control can be used to display image after you
add a picture URL to the control.

Someone using my picture on skype posing as me

Just found out from a friend that there is a skype account of me that someone is using my picture on. My real one is connected to my android phone where I'm wearing a red top next to my drumset. The fake one I was told is a pic of me wearing a black top. My question is there a customer service telephone number to contact skype? I tried online can't find a way to contact. Is it possible too use a picture as a cover picture??, not a video

I know that I can use a video as a cover picture, bur is there any change too use a picture for that ????

Might need a little more information here. Are you trying to obtain screen captures? If all you're wanting to do is take stills from your videos then the answer is yes, you can but you'll have to transfer your videos from your iPhone to your computer first (unless you can find an APP on the iTunes store to help you to do it on your iPhone).
There are a few ways to do it. The first is that you can use the button on your keyboard called "Prt Scr" or "Print Screen". This takes a shot of your screen which you can then "paste" into a program like paint, or photoshop or even Word to then save as a jpeg image. When using this option a good trick is to use "Alt" + "Prt Scr" to only capture the current window rather than your entire desktop.

Also, some DVD programs have this function in built in them so it's a good idea to explore what's already installed on your computer.

New iMAC to Dell 3008 using Mini DisplayPort to Dual-Link DVI Adapter

I just brought the new iMAC 27" iCore7. Previously I was using old MBP with dual link DVI to DELL 3008 and they did fine.
But Today I connect the Dell 3008 to my new iMAC using Mini DisplayPort to Dual-Link DVI Adapter...They could not work properly...
The dell shows images in red with flickers....
I've contacted the phone for help...and they said nothing could be done????!!!!!

just update my progress...
I had made calls to Apple technical support center in HONG KONG for help...
To my surprise...they even did not understand what I was saying(Or just pretending...)....One interesting guy said I could take the new iMAC back to service center to change the 4850 display card to older version...or call DELL for help!!!!!

However, if I right click on a link and select "Open Link In New Tab", the Tab shows URL in address bar. So it's working when it's a New Tab but not a New Window.

How do you use your pictures for web, iPad & smartphones? All the same size??

i realy think back and froth about this question.
i guess it makes sense - to use all the same size - because newest Ipads and Iphones are with retina-screens !??
on the other hand i use background-pictures for the website with a lenght of 1800px (it's 400 kbit) so it may slow down my the mobile version
but i know , people always scroll and zoom into evrything with an Ipad and smartphone ... So what to do? What is your hint ?

For me anyways, I 'always' create my images to the size I need and then bring them into what ever web design tool I am using wether it is Muse, Dreamweaver, Coda or a number of others. It takes a few minutes longer but I always get the results I need and expect.

you can use Home Sharing in iTunes.
iTunes > File > Home Sharing
Switch it on and
Choose Photos to Share with Apple TV.
Your Apple TV will pickup the folders when you go to the Screen Saver settings
They also "cache" so screen saver works if your computer is off.
