Using CC6...i got hit with a "SHORTCUT VIRUS"....I can't access Lightroom...PhotoShop yes...Lightroom no....the prompt states it cant be opened because another applications has it opened.....HELP...please

Any solutions for the "shortcut virus"...?
I tried ALL i could find....NO luck.....
ALL my files are inaccessible....when i start Lightroom...it tells me the application is ALREADY OPEN.....?????

Using Windows Explorer or Finder on the Mac, go to the folder that contains your Lightroom catalog. You'll probably find a file there with the .lock extension. After you delete that file you should be able to start Lightroom again.
