Using DateRange Parameters on fields that had to be converted from unix

I have a database that has date fields that are unix based. In order for them to work in CR, I need to create this formula:
date({Command.open_date}/60/60/24+25568.835)
I want to create daterange parameters that will cover months or qtrs, and will prompt when the user opens the report.
How can I use the formula in the parameter instead of the unix date field? thanks

There is a procedure for changing the feed URL for a podcast, which it seems you haven't followed: you have to add a special tag to the old feed - just submitting a new feed will have exactly the effect you describe. The proper method is described here:

If I wiped my phone I wouldn't have the contacts on my phone to send to my self. I would need to take just the contacts from my back up. I would have to do this through iTunes and I don't see how I can just extract the contacts only from my back up. From what I can figure out it is all or nothing

iPhoto used to support the PCD format up to a few years ago. It's extremely frustrating that Apple decided to no longer support this format and now I'm directed to pay nearly $40 for an app that will (GraphicConverter 9). Did Lemke Software make a deal with Apple so we'd have to pay a premium for a very overpriced converter? And, how are decisions like this supposed to encourage the use of iPhoto?
Apple users already pay a premium to use a Mac. Obstacles like these eventually destroy loyalty to the Apple brand. Just ask Microsoft how their back room deals that exploited their customer base worked out for them.

enter or to makr that they have viewed the form/email. I'm trying to create a field that would allow each individual to place their name in the apporatie box from either the Outlook contact list or create a dropdown list with the individuals in
my department. When I tried to create a contact field it would duplicate whomever first sent the email. Any and all help is very welcomed.

So I had pictures in an album called photo library and when i backed up my iphone to my computer, the pictures disappeared from my phone. They were pictures that had originally been transferred from my blackberry to my iphone

I dunno if this information is useful but the photos im trying to recover were in an album called photo library and they were permanent and couldnt be edited or deleted on the iphone.
These photos were never on your Mac. iPhoto only imports from the Camera Roll. You'd have needed to use a 3rd party app to get any other photos from your phone.

Can I create a field that calculates number of days from a date field?

I need a field that will calculate the number of days elapsed whatever date is entered into the date field, and update that number of days based on the calendar/computer calendar date. Does that make sense?

I set up the form so that my boss can add or subtract clients from the list. Each client needs to have its own "Days since added to the list" number. Sorta like a little aging report.
Is this possible?

Wow, I'm so stumped. I tried to copy a bit of formcalc into the exit event for my current date field to try to make this happen, but I can't get it to work.
My attempt at scripting is embarrassing, but here it is:

How to use range for a field that is not in select options

Dear All,
I have a requirement to show Long Text of a G/L account , where G/L account is between a given range. But this field is not in select options. I have to show Long Text of this Account, if the field is in a given range. I have tried to use RANGE , but RANGE is not working here. Please help with some sample codes.
Note: The range is too high so I cant use IN operator.

Using RAW files in LR that have already some adjustments from another person's LR?

Hi - I have been asked by a photographer to do a lot of processing and retouching for them. They will have around 400 images (a wedding), and I want to use LR and PS for this. However the photographer wants to do their own basic processing in their own LR before sending to me (e.g. cropping), then I will do all the rest. As I still want to use the RAW files (I don't want to work with jpegs!), what would be the best way for me to get the cropped/pre-processed RAW files from them? Will the photographer need to export every single image as a TIFF to send on to me, or surely there's an easier way of doing this? Any help appreciated.

Another option to consider - have them export a catalog and send to you. When finished, you send the catalog back and they import it. Either way accomplishes the same goal but catalog export / import obviates the need to fiddle with xmp files, and if your "client" uses DNG, obviates the need to send big photo files back, unless of course you Photoshop'd the raws and thus spawned tiffs or jpegs for them, in which case you have to send them back no matter which way you go..

Parameters not set error, when launching jdev 9i from Unix

I have downloaded the patch to install jdeveloper ( p4141787_11i_GENERIC.zip )
and ftp'ed to Unix directory and unzipped.
I have modified the jdev.conf to the location where SDK is installed. we are using SDK version 1.4.2.06
I have set up the variable, JDEV_USER_HOME
When I run the jdev.exe script from jdevbin/jdev/bin
. jdev
I get the below error, saying that the parameters are not set.

Can you make an enter event in topmostsubform that gets the field name of any field thats entered

Looking for some help.
I have a modified Enter Event I'm trying to use. What my expected results are: When you click on a field on the PDF, it would open up a certain webpage or file depending on what field is entered. I currently have:

In this example, i'm using a bogus address obviously. "event.target.documentFileName" gives me the PDF name which is what I want, but I need to scrub off the ".pdf" at the end of it. I know I can use this in every field that I want it in, but I'm looking to see if I can get this code in just the topmostsubform only due to having hundreds of forms I might be using this form and to save time.
When this is used in the topmostsubform, it gives me the URL: "www.cnn5.com/PDFname.pdf&TopmostSubform" no matter what field i click into. Is there something i can change this.name to? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Also, i'll need to have this event to be able to use multiple times, because currently in the topmostsubform, it only activates on the first field that I enter and doesn't activate on fields after that. Suggestions please? Thank you

How to use FMS on OPCH field to query value on a field in PHC1 form?

Hi All,
I have a problem. I created a user defined field in the AP Invoice form (parent form-OPCH). Now I would like to use the formatted search to add a query to that field that will select a value from another field also on the same form but at the row level (child form-PCH1). It seems that this is not possible. Any suggestions?
A general question for this: is their any way that I could use the formatted search to query value on an opening form that is inactive?

Thanks for your reply. It does not work. I have tried to searched through the forum about this topic and it seems that FMS will not work at row level. Not sure if there is any solution to overcome this.
My query is for example: I want my UDF on OPCH form to capture the description of the first row in PCH1:
Select $[$39.1.1]
If I assign it to a UDF at row level it works perfectly.
If I assign it to the Remark field on OPCH it still works.
But if I assign it to a UDF at title level it does not (this is what I need)
This may be because at title level the form name is OPCH which is different with the form name at row level: PCH1
I cannot think if there is any way that I could set focus on PCH1 to get the value.

     I need to create an input field in a screen that doesnt and wont permit coping from it. In other words an input field that is visible but not selectable. Another way to solve my need would be to restrict the paste of this field.
Ive thought of creating an image from it and posting it but its too complicated and would consume a lot of resources. If anybody has a better idea or knows how to do this please answer.

Hi Jorge,
To have a field that does not allow copying from it is difficult to handle. In fact almost impossible, if there is NO other activity on the screen.
You would have to write your own event handler in ABAP objects and build a trigger mechanism that listens to the activation or déactivation of a field.
However, in order to give you some help, there is a way to cleanup the CLIPBOARD (so any entries in it are removed, thus preventing a CTRL+V (paste) operation.
Simply place this in the first PAI module of your screen:
DATA: myrc TYPE i.
CALL METHOD cl_gui_frontend_services=>clipboard_export
CHANGING
    rc = myrc
EXCEPTIONS
    CNTL_ERROR   = 1
    ERROR_NO_GUI = 2
    others       = 3.
Of course you need to handle possible errors (clean up SY-SUBRC). Also keep in mind, that this does NOT prevent COPY & PASTE operation, as long as the screen has NOT passed the PAI event in your program.
