Using DTW to update price lists with ITM1 template

I'm trying to update prices in a price list using the ITM1 DTW template, but I continue to get an error:  This entry already exists in the following tables (ODBC - 2035) Application-defined or object-defined eror65171.
Any suggestions?
Thank you,
Avraham

Hi Caroline,
AtcEntry is correct for the document, this relates to the AbsEntry in OATC, which then in turn links to AbsEntry in ATC1.
There are a few fields that need to be populated in ATC1:
AbsEntry
Line - To be used if more than 1 Attachment
SrcPath - for the file path
Filename - for the file name
FileExt - for file type - i.e. .pdf
You may be able to configure DTW to import these as a manually created DTW but I suspect that OATC and ATC1 are not open to the Di which will stop it. Coincidently I have been looking at Task Centre to update these but have encountered the same problem

  • DTW - selecting a Price List in a Goods Receipt PO

    Hi
    I am looking to use a Price List  with my import of a Goods Receipt PO but am unsure what field name to use?
    Thanks
    Ian

    Hi Ian........
    There is no such field for Price List in GRPO Template but if you want it to be picked up while import you have to set the same in Business Partner Master data either manually or by DTW update and then try importing GRPO.
    Hope this will solve your problem..........

  • Update Price in table ITM1

    hi,
    i want to update price in table ITM1 (items price), in my application i use business object Items_Prices but this object have not method update...
    What can i do it?
    thanks
    Best regards

    Hi Valentina,
    You need to use the Items object of DI API and update the prices through item. Code example:
    Dim oItem As SAPbobsCOM.Items
            oItem = oCompany.GetBusinessObject(SAPbobsCOM.BoObjectTypes.oItems)
            oItem.GetByKey("A1000")
            oItem.PriceList.SetCurrentLine(0)
            oItem.PriceList.Price = 200
            If oItem.Update <> 0 Then
                MessageBox.Show(oCompany.GetLastErrorDescription)
            End If
    Hope it helps.

  • Attach a New Price list with already booked Orders.

    hi...
    I want to attach a new price list with already booked orders.
    How it can be done??
    please help...
    Sunita Behl

    Assuming that your order is just booked and not part-shipped etc., the simplest method is to use the mass change feature from the classic Order Organizer to do this as I don't think changing at Order Header level will trigger a cascaded change to the lines (not in 11.5 anyway, you don't mention what release you're on).
    Select the order lines you want to change (presumably all) and assign the new price list name + Calculate Price flag = 'Yes' + new pricing date if appropriate. After this has completed, it's a good idea to change at header level too otherwise any new lines added to your order will still default to the older price list.
    Finally, if you've already acknowledged the order, you might also want to re-acknowledge with the price change.

  • Using DTW to update the Item Master Data attachment tab

    Hi Experts,
    Has anyone tried using DTW to update the Attachments Tab on the Item Master Data please?  I tried a few things (similar to importing an attachment to an activity) and couldn't get it to work.
    I couldn't see that anything to do with the Attachments Tab was exposed in DTW when looking at the mapping fields and also when looking through the options available in the Items Object under Customize Templates - but then I might not be seeing it correctly!
    Any ideas or solutions would be great.
    Many thanks,
    Caroline

  • Using DTW to update Bill Of Production

    Hi ,we are using SAP B1 2005B. When using DTW to update Bill Of Production, i can not find target file in object:OProductTrees for  warehouse(table:OITT, file name:ToWH) in Bill Of Production header!
    Any suggestion?
    Thanks!

    Hi.........
    When you run DTW it asks you to give path where file has been store and from there it picks up the file and imports data.
    Generally DTW support several file formats those are CSV Comma, CSV SemiColon, Tab Delimited, ODBC.
    At the 4th step of DTW where it asks to specify the path you will find one dropdown of Select File Type
    So select the proper File type in drop down and then only you can find your file saved in drive.........

  • Update Price List by DTW ODBC Connection

    Hi Experts,
    I wondered if there was a way to update a Price List in SAP by DTW ODBC connection please?  I have two databases with exactly the same Price Lists, apart from I need to update one price list in one of the databases with the inforamtion as a Price List in another SAP database on the same server.  The price list is called C60000 and is the 7th Price list (therefore number 6) and this is the Query I was using:
    SELECT T1.[ItemCode], T1.[Price] FROM OPLN T0  INNER JOIN ITM1 T1 ON T0.ListNum = T1.PriceList WHERE T1.[PriceList] = '6'
    The Query shows correctly in STEP 4 of DTW when I click on Import in the last Step nothing really seems to happen...
    Many many thanks for all your help.
    Caroline

    HI Gordon,
    Thanks for your fast reply!
    I guess it's ITM1 I need to update... the actual prices in the Price List.
    Thanks,
    Caroline

  • Slow in updating price lists using import from excel

    Hello,
    I am concerned about the slow process of updating prices in SAP using import from excel. It took me hours to complete the upload for 3700 item rows and 2 price lists. It is also slow in adding warehouses. I am not sure if the account segmentation has something to do with it but it never happened to my other databases where there is no account segmentation. Other than this, SAP is running real fast on the server.
    How could this be? Thank you and regards.
    Derrick

    Yes vijay, There is query params in step 2 of DTW.
    2 week before only we have updated to SAP B1 2005B PL41,
    but i'm not sure whether DTW is updated to latest version or not ?
    Current DTW version is 2005.0.15 & API version is 6.80.320.
    What is procedure to update DTW ?

  • Updating with ITM1 Template

    I am tryin to upload itm1 item pricewith 2 templates Header (oitm ) only has te column with itemcode and then use the itm1 price template. with all the columns. I upload it with dtw with no error messages.  But when I open SBO8.8 PL15, there is no change. Any idea why ?
    Edited by: Héctor Ramón Santos Anaya on Jan 4, 2011 7:33 AM

    Hi Hector,
    If Item is already there in the database, then no need for the OITM template.
    ITM1 template only enough.
    Try this.

  • Update Price List in SBO

    Hallo All,
    I try to update a specific price list in Business One, but keep on getting errors. There are 2 objects to use: oItems and Items_Prices which is the child object, but I can't seem to put everything together! Can somebody help please. I do not find an update example in the help samples.

    Hi Carin,
    Herewith an example. You can search by the price list name or the number. I am not aware of another way to update the prices.
            Dim oItem As SAPbobsCOM.Items
            Dim i As Integer
            oItem = oCompany.GetBusinessObject(SAPbobsCOM.BoObjectTypes.oItems)
            oItem.GetByKey("A1001")
            For i = 0 To oItem.PriceList.Count - 1
                oItem.PriceList.SetCurrentLine(i)
                If oItem.PriceList.PriceListName = "Sales Price list Small Customers" Then
                    oItem.PriceList.Price = 500
                    Exit For
                End If
            Next
            If oItem.Update <> 0 Then
                MessageBox.Show("Error: " & oCompany.GetLastErrorDescription)
            Else
                MessageBox.Show("Updated")
            End If
    Hope it helps,

  • Need to Update Price List at Ship to Address Level

    Hello All,
    Can you please let me know whether there is an API to update the price list at SHip to Address Level.
    Thanks
    Rakesh

    Check the TCA public API hz_cust_account_site_v2pub. I've used the below and am sure there'll be an update API as well.
    hz_cust_account_site_v2pub.create_cust_acct_site
    hz_cust_account_site_v2pub.create_cust_site_use

  • Update SharePoint list with project finish date on Project.Updated event

    Hello,
    I want to update a column in a SharePoint list with the project finish date when a project is updated on Project Server. My OnUpdated event handler is being called ok, but if I change the project start date Project Server runs an asynchronous republishing
    on the project, and my event handler ends up being called before the finish date is update by the republishing job, so the code writes the "old" finish date on the SharePoint list. The solutions I could think of are:
    Identify the republishing job on Project Server queue, pool the queue waiting for it to finish, then read the finish date and update the list item in SharePoint.
    Include a custom job on Project Server queue after the republishing job, that reads the finish date and update the list item in SharePoint.
    I don't know if any of the solutions are feasible and how to implement them. Has anyone coded something like this and/or have a better solution?
    Thanks,
    GB

    I vote for the option 1.
    I did for one of my event handler..Did you try "on published" event?
                projectSvc.QueueUpdateProject(jobUid, SessionUID, projectDss, false);
                //WaitForQueue(q, jobUid);
                jobUid = Guid.NewGuid();
                projectSvc.QueuePublish(jobUid, e.ProjectGuid, false, string.Empty);
                jobUid = Guid.NewGuid()

  • BP Price List with UoM Question

    Hi,
    I have an item with a UoM of 33 and cost price for the 33 units is £34. I entered a price for the BP price list at £34 but it takes this price and multiplies by 33.
    Is there a way to make the price list reflect the pack size instead of individual? Otherwise I can imagine us ending up with rounding issues and being out by pennies.

    ok so we just have to put with any rounding issues that may occur? In our current system price for purchasing is against the total UoM so it's always spot on and then breaks down the individual price when stock is booked in etc.
