Using Gamecenter or OpenFeint?

Hey,
is there any way using gamecenter or openfeint for my app created with air2.6 and ADT?
There is a gamecenter-API for xCode and there is a openfeint API for xCode and Android, but can these be used in any way?

Answers that I know :
a, yes - I have an iPad, iPhone, and iPod Touch linked to my account on the same computer/iTunes and haven't had any problems with it
b, you only need to purchase the app once, it can then be copied onto all your devices. Some of my apps are on all three of my devices. If you get newspapers or magazines then I believe that some only allow one download of each magazine/newspaper, so you may not be able to have them on each device.
c, as long as you have your own Game Center accounts then you should be able to - I've never used it
d, yes, you can have them on all your devices, you don't need to multi-purchase them
e, I think that you will each need your own email address for them - in Settings > iMessage you can link an email address with messaging, and similarly for FaceTime (Settings > FaceTime) - that way messages/calls will only go to the correct person. Using FaceTime ; there is also some info on the built-in apps in iPad's manual and iPod's manual
f, all content purchased via an iTunes account is tied to that account, and they cannot be copied or transferred to a different account. So any content purchased on your wife's account will remain tied to her account. You can have more than one iTunes account authorised on a computer's iTunes (Store > Authorise This Computer), so you can have her content as well as yours on the computer that you sync to.
g, don't know, I've not made any in-app purchase
h, with the device connected to and selected on the left-hand side of your computer's iTunes, then on the tabs on the right-hand side you can control what is synced to that device. Those selections should then be remembered each time you re-connect that device, so you can have different selections for each device and you shouldn't have to re-do the selection each time you connect it.

The below link shows how to create playlist in Itunes. Once the playlist is created, if you are using apple Ipod or any other apple product. Then once you connect the device it will start the sync with the device and then you can start playing.

I recently upgraded my iPod touch 5th gen to iOS 7.1, and now whenever I open up my gamecenter, the "friends" and "games" tab never stop loading, and it also won't log in when I play games that use gamecenter. What can I do to fix this issue?

I have already tried turning the power off and back on, holding the home and power button for ten seconds and shutting it off that way, and disconnecting from the wifi. None if those fixed the problem. However, resetting all of the settings did actually fix this issue, but then when I turn the ipod off and on again the issue is back. I don't want to have to keep resetting the settings on a daily basis, so what else can I do to fix this bug? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Having a problem with gamecenter invites

I can't receive any invites and I can't send one also it's really annoying and this situation happens with all games in my iPad can anyone help me please I really need help with that and I'm sure that everything is on notifications and everything that cause a game invite to work ..

NHL gamecenter streaming issues

I bought a new ATV2 last week and updated to the latest sotware. The main selling point for me was NHL Gamecenter live as I had grown tired of watching games on my laptop. Gamecenter live however is unbearable to watch. It stops to buffer every 3-5 minutes and often will buffer for 5+ minutes just to go another 2 minutes. I can use Gamecenter on my laptop with no issues and it never needs to stop for buffering.
I thought it was my ATV2 setup but Itunes and Netflix movies stream with a breeze, never a hang up and a very short buffering time to get started. I have a 20MB download internet connection and I've never had buffering issues when using NHL Gamecenter on my Laptop. Another annoying thing it does is sometimes when watching a game that the NHL has put in their own "commercials" during time outs, it will often go back to the NHL game menu when the commercial break is over instead of going back to the game.
Anyone else having this issue with NHL Gamecenter? Maybe its an NHL issue since everything else on my Apple TV streams perfectly. I've had to go back to watching games on my Laptop because of it.

Haven't had this hold true for me. I usually watch games after they are over--not live. Some will stream this way, others will not--most often the team I really WANT to watch will not! I was watching one game on the computer the other night and decided to try the ATV2 again after the first period and found it WAS finally available. The weird thing was that the steam was slightly different than the stream I was watching o the computer. The computer stream included all of the commercial breaks and period intermissions, the ATV2 stream did not--it just went immediately to the next action or next period. Are they somehow formatting a special feed for ATV2? Does this take time and is that why some of the games are not available for awhile after the live game is over? I'm grasping at straws here to understand how I can best use this device which is so far quite frustrating and mysterious.....

How to get player's score with Adobe's Gaming SDK GameCenter ANE

Hi! I need your help with something that should be super easy, but I really couldn't find anywhere.
How do I get local player's highscore with adobe's gamecenter ane, from Gaming SDK? There is a requestScores, but in the only parameter it would make sense to specify the player type (playerScope:String) I only have 2 options to specify (Friends or Global). No option for Local. Default is global..
When using GameCenter, I want to show the player when he beats his own GameCenter's highscore, and print the current highscore on a results screen when he doesn't beat it. But I can't find anywhere how to get it through this ANE.

Hi Decco, I would like to show only the player's highscores inside my game, for each leaderboard.
4morrone, I have the highscore stored in the device, but I would prefer if the player could see his highscores in any device he is logged in. Or if he re-installed the app, for example. When the player beats a level with a new highscore I show him a "New Highscore" screen, which wouldn't be so cool if the local highscore doesn't match his GameCenter score.
I mean, Its not a really big problem, but I thought it would be easy. It's kind of strange that there is a function to get friends scores, global scores, but not local player's scores (which is a more important information), why would I get friend's GameCenter scores, if I can't compare them to the player's GameCenter score.

Transferring GameCenter records between two iOs devices

I bought the iTouch 3rd Generation two years ago, and recently upgraded to the iPhone 4S. I played a lot of games on the iTouch 3rd Generation using GameCenter, and I assumed it would be easy to transfer my game records between the two devices. Certain games, like Tiny Tower, gave me the option to restore my data once I logged in. Other games, like Angry Birds, saved my achievements but not the game save data itself. I had a lot of 3 stars and now they are all gone. Does anyone know how to transfer game records?

Gamecenter always logged in after iOS 6 update

I don't use gamecenter and I don't mind it at all.
when I had iOS 5.1.1 I just logged off the first time from game center. when I opend a gamecenter game it asked me if I wanted login and I cancelled it.
this happened 3 times and at the 3rd gamecenter let me to disable it. after that it never ask me again to login.
after iOS update I made the same thing, so I disabled gamecenter but everytime I purchase an app from app store, I put my password to buy app and gamecenter automaticaly log me in again.
how can I disable annoying gamecenter FOR EVER? why am I constrained to use an app?

I could have sworn it was not there and I had looked everywhere. But tonight I found it without even trying. On the now playing screen, just tap somewhere on the album art, and the repeat, genius, and shuffle buttons appear under the little progress bar. Hope this helps! Let me know if it wasn't clear.

GameCenter is not working

I have a 4th generation iPod Touch. I downloaded the update and tried using Gamecenter. It asks for me to sigh in so I do. It asks for country, I answer. It asks for Birth, I answer. then it goes back to country and freezes. How can I fix this?

Hi people, First thing first, gamecenter itself works just fine, ican logg in se achievments and etc
But any game that use gamecenter for achievments, multiplayer and etc during the game, that is when the problems begins
when i start klicking go multiplayer or to se the achievment gamecenter dont come up.. i tried everygame, i tried to relog i tried reset the setting.. everything i read on internet. Nothing makes it work :/
And no im not going to reset my firmware, everything works just fine but gamecenter

I think you have already done some (if not all) of this, but it's all I got. If this doesnt work, then backing up, restoreing your iOS, then restoring form backup would be you next step. Or you can call Apple

If you are having difficulty logging in to Game Center or staying connected

Apps like GameCenter and YouTube...battery life question...

So if i stay logged in the above apps and some similar apps, if I delete them at previous apps menu without signing out
1. do they still run on the background?
2. Games like Infinity Blade uses GameCenter Feature...does ot use more battery when its enabled?

I'm not aware of any games that run in the background when leaving the app. An app/game that has been updated with the iOS4 multitasking API to be suspended/not quit when leaving the app will be suspended/not quit when leaving the app. When returning to the app the game will begin where it was left off or suspended. A suspended app should not use any battery since the app is suspended - not running.
The YouTube app does not run the background. It doesn't matter if you are signed in or out of your YouTube account when leaving the app.

Setting up multiple iPads w/Family Sharing with different Apple IDs (previously shared one Apple ID).

My three children each receive iPad minis from their generous grandparents last year; all were using my Apple ID so that we could share purchased content. However, they could not play games with each other using GameCenter (all one Apple ID) and it would be good to iMessage/FaceTime each other. So Family Sharing seems great, but it seems to me that I will have to sign out of my Apple ID on each of their devices, which means that they will love all of their data, etc.
Can I change each child's iPad mini from my Apple ID to theirs and then use a backup to restore their data?

IPad as controller in Fifa 14 and Real Racing 3?

I'm wondering if I can use the iPad as controller in Fifa 14 when Airplay is enable?
I can do that with Ducati Challenge HD, but I couldn't do that with Fifa 14 and Real Racing 3. Use iPad as controller is the reason that i bought the Apple TV...
I saw some videos and some of them shows Fifa running on iPad and iPhones being use to control the game. Is there a chance to iPad do the both: run Fifa on tv (via Airplay/AppleTV) and shows the controller on iPad's screen?
I'm missing something with Fifa 14 and Real Racing 3? There's is another game with this feature?

I was having a similar problem as well. The issue is in the iPhone/iPad/iPod software itself, this is something we'd all expect (at least I would) when a company creates a new operating from scratch. So basically what's happening is your game center is responding to the iOS restrictions found in your settings menu (even though restrictions are disabled). The reason your racing game's multiplayer functionality isn't working is because it uses gamecenter’s multiplayer interface rather than its own independent version (like wordfoo).
To fix the problem
go settings>general>restrictions
Enable restrictions and choose a password you'll remember in 45 seconds
Scroll to the bottom where you see the section labeled "Game Center"
Now flip the switch on both Multiplayer Games and Adding Friends so both switches are green.
Scroll back to the top and disable restrictions
That right there should fix the problem friends, did for me at least. Cheers!

Un-remove games in game center on mac?

Hello everyone. I need help!!
I accidentally removed sky gamblers - storm raiders from game center on my mac. I dont know how to un-remove it! I want it back cause I am one of the best in the game and I want my stats in game center. I still have the game on my mac but I also want to be able to play matches online with other people using gamecenter.
I already tried the usual stuff: deleating and reinstaling, signing in on a diffrent computer and re dowloading,
So I basicly need to know how to get my game back into gamecenter.

Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Console in the icon grid.
