Using iPad as a back up band

I'm playing backing tracks with the iPad.
It's like having an 'On-Demand" band.
I need the iPad's iPod to only play one song at a time.
The only setting I can find are Looping and Shuffling songs.
Anyone know how to get this thing to play one song, then stop until I initiate another song?

Using ipad Mini to back up Photographs

I travel a bit and am thinking about purchasing an iPad Mini (128G) to use to back up my memory cards on trips. My questions are these:
1) does anyone have experience doing this?
2) can I upload photographs from an SD card to a Mini like you can on a regular iPad?
3) Can I view them on the Mini?
4) I will be taking photographs from a Sony A7
I would appreciate any experience that anyone has doing this.

I do this with my Mini (64gb) when I travel. It's nice to have the backups. I DO NOT erase the images from the memory card(s) while traveling. When I get home I upload the images from the card(s) to my computer, adding them to my Light Room catalog. I also back up the images onto an external hard drives (2). So then I have three copies of these images. THEN I reformat the memory card(s) for the next photo shoot. I then also, except for a handful of images that I may choose to add to an album on the Mini, delete them from the Mini, freeing up that space for the next trip or other photo project. The Mini is a nice tool to use this way since it is small and lightweight and the screen is pretty darn good for reviewing photos and videos.

Can the new pre installed apps in iPad 2. Like garage band, iMovie be sync back to i tune, and then sync these new apps from ipad2 to the old iPad 1?

iMovie and GB must be purchased.
If you have installed GB and iMovie on the iPad 1 and synced using iTunes, just sync the those apps to the newer iPad with iTunes. No re purchase necessary with the same iTunes account.

The password would be either your iTunes ID password or your admin password for the Computer.

You can change the email address of one's appleID...
I'd recommend changing moms email to yours to get a good backup on the Mac
Then switch mom's back to hers
Then change your account to the same email you used.

The 1 gen iPad is not capable of running iOS 7
If you need iOS 7 then you need newer hardware that can run it

Have you tried a reset ? Press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider if it appears), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

Uncheck all the songs in the playlist. iTunes will then play one song and stop.

How do i use IPAD wifi when travelling

I have been extensively using IPAD 2 . I recently decided to upgrade mine to IPAD3 . I bought one at the grove apple store and before that asked the salesman the difference in the IPAD 2 AND IPAD 3. He said the resolution of camera and picture was good and the memory was 32GB ( then one I bought) . Thinking it would give me a better speed and features and that all the existing facilities of IPAD 2 would be available since it was not mentioned by the sales man, i bought the same. Later I found when I opened it a couple of days later that there is no provision for sim card slot and only wifi CAN BE USED. wITH A RESULT where there is no WIFI connectivity as in most parts of the world it is useless. This aspect was not informed to me by the sales man . otherwise I would not have purchased the same. I think the person should have told about this. Now I am stuck with a near useless IPAD as I cannot carry two IPADs one for wifi USe and other with 3G facility. I feel I have been cheated

The mifi is an alternative to keep the one you have (Mifi is verizon's one, other cellular companies have their own versions)
There is a lot of free wifi out there and even apps that will give you a database you can access off line to find them.
Like was also said, you have 14 days, take it back. The 14 day return/exchange is standard at the apple store, other retailers have their own rules.

You got it with that same apple id thing. You can use different apple id's, but then they will not sync. Apple does allow as many free apple id's as you want, but they are in the business to make money.

FORCE IPAD INTO RECOVERY MODE
1. Turn off iPad
2. Turn on computer and launch iTunes (make sure you have the latest version of iTune)
3. Plug USB cable into computer's USB port
4. Hold Home button down and plug the other end of cable into docking port.
DO NOT RELEASE BUTTON until you see picture of iTunes and plug
5. Release Home button.
ON COMPUTER
6. iTunes has detected iPad in recovery mode. You must restore this iPad before it can be used with iTunes.
7. Select "Restore iPad"...
Note:
1. Data will be lost if you do not have backup
2. You must follow step 1 to step 4 VERY CLOSELY.
3. Repeat the process if necessary.

I purchased a used IPad in the USA to send to our charity in Ghana. It was posted from Nevada and was never delivered. I have purchased another Ipad and want to use the Apps I purchased on the missing Ipad? What can I do?

To Clarify above. I purchased a 1st generation Ipad to send to our charity in Ghana. I posted it off from Nevada US Postal service and it never arrived inl Takaradi Ghana. My belief is that as the customs declaration said "Ipad" it was too good an oppertunity for a postal worker between the US and Ghana to get a free Ipad.
After waiting a few months to confirm the loss, I purchased another Ipad at Schipol airport Netherlands as I was travelling back to Ghana this week. The cost was considerably more than the used Ipad and I am now out far more than I budgeted for.
My question is: How can I download the paid apps I had on the stolen Ipad on to the one I have just purchased. I have all the details concerning the stolen Ipad but no the seriel number. Any help appreciated.

Apple (and no one else) can not assist (with serial number or iCloud) in finding a lost or stolen iPad.
Report to police along with serial number. Change all your passwords.
