Using jrun how url can be mapped

let suppose i am using jsp on jrun.i have to write http:\\localhost:8080\mypage.jsp
to acces my page in browser..
i want that i should write www.mypage.com in browser to access my web page.

Yes it is possible, you have to do two things.
1. set up your Servlet Container to return "www.mypage.com" when your snoop servlet makes the call request.getHeader("host") Most web servers have a config variable to designate the host name and forward that name on to the servlet container, e.g. if using Apache you set the ServerName parameter equal to "www.mypage.com". Jrun can operate stand alone using its built in web server, but this is not reccomended. If your using Jrun's built in web server, I'd try the Jrun console to see where to configure the server name.
2. Add an entry to your intranet's DNS or you local /etc/hosts file (c:\winnt\system32\drivers\etc\hosts on win2K) which maps localhost to www.mypage.com. Example entries:
your machine:
127.0.01  www.mypage.comsomeone else's machine
your_ip_address  www.mypage.comWhile developing servlets in the past I've set my development box up this way so I could replace "localhost" with something meaningfull like deathstar or worksucks.
