Using letter templates: how to make left hand column with logo/info repeat?

Hi all,
If you use one of the templates in Pages that has a column down the left-hand side of the page where you can put your company logo and information (e.g. the Modern Photographer Letter), I've noticed that when I do replace it with my info on the first page, if my letter runs over a page, the logo and info on the left-hand column for subsequent pages reverts to the template default.
Am I missing a step here?
How can I "set" it so that my own logo and info repeats on every page?

On page 60 in the english version Pages User Guide you canread this:

Finder->View-Hide Sidebar (⌘⌥ S). Once set, ⌘J and select Use as Defaults. That'll ensure all newly opened windows have that setting.

Missing albums (entire left hand column) in iphoto 6

In the middle of working with photos, the left hand column with the list of albums disappeared. It might have diappeared during a restart. (I can't figure out how to switch from edit mode back to the thumbnails so I restart.) I have re-started again and re-booted the computer. Help is no help. I dont see any preference for having the left column appear/disppear. Any ideas?

Take a look at the screenshot and see if you can place your cursor on the thin black line to get the cursor to change so you can drag the source column divider to the right. There is also a drag bar on the source column to drag it, but it is probably not visible for you.

If that doesn't work then close iPhoto.
navigate to ~/Library/Preferences and drag the com.apple.iPhoto.plist to the desktop. Launch iPhoto and see if the source column is back.

How can I create a document with two columns in which the text in the left hand column flows to the left column on page 2,3 etc, and doesn't interfere with the text I want to place in the right? Pages 5.

I'm using pages 5 and want to comment in a right hand column, on a (latin) text which I wish to place in a left hand column.
Ideally I'd like to be able to copy and paste the latin text and see it flow over into the left hand column on multiple pages.
At the moment it is impossible for me to keep the text only in the left hand column Any help!?

Columns do what columns do, flow from the bottom of the left hand column to the top of the right hand next column. So won't do what you want.
Your tag says you are using OS X 10.5.8 but you say you are using Pages 5 so one or the other is not correct.
If you migrated up to Pages 5 what did you do with your previous Pages '08 or '09?
Because Pages 5 is missing over 100 features, one of which is Textbox linking, that would allow to flow down through a series of Textboxes set up like columns.
What you can do is run the Latin text down a narrow document to the left and add individual Textboxes to the right and put your English translations in those. The Latin will flow but the English will not.

I was wondering if anyone could help me on this problem: I need to set up a break column on a classic report (I ma required to use classic report only), and it works, but I do not know how to make every break column on the top of the rows in the same subgroup. Is your iPhone connected to your computer using the lightning cable or are you doing WiFi sync?
Sometimes the iPhone doesn't show up in the side bar if you're using WiFi syncing, if its not working, then be connected to your WiFi on your phone and on your computer (Same network) let me know how it's going, if it doesn't work still. Turn your phone off and on again and put in your pass code then try to sync it (keep your phone unlocked and not in sleep mode) tel me if it appears in the side bar.

Do you have the latest version of iTunes for Windows installed? I would turn on the sidebar and the menu bar just to make sure you are seeing everything. If the iPhone is still not recognized in iTunes, follow these troubleshooting steps:

Left hand column

As you are revising iCal in the upcoming upgrade can I plead with you to make it possible to hide the left hand column on the screen, the one containing the list of calendars and the actual calendar. I have one calendar and use a third party physical calendar and I could use the screen space.
Needless to say, if there is a way of doing this already I would like to hear about it

Welcome to Apple Discussions.
If you hover your cursor over the line which separates the "left hand column" from the calendar you should see a resizing cursor which will allow you to reduce the column size. The minimum size is slightly less than a day column in the calendar.
As you are revising iCal in the upcoming upgrade can I plead with you to make it possible to hide the left hand column on the screen...
The best way to request that feature is to provide Apple - iCal - Feedback.

"Devices" has disappeared from the left hand column of iTunes.
How can I restore?

You've got windows, i suppose? Well, how long do you wait before the device appears? i think i had to wait like 20 minutes b4 mine would show up the first time. Or, you could try reinstalling iTunes. Or, if all else fails, use another computer, like ask a friend if you could use theirs if you dont have another.

Thanks for your response.
May you can forward this as to whoever looks after improving the Adobe product. It would be very useful to have it available on the navigation pane. At the moment the 'advanced search' feature opens up outside the PDF and is a pain to use.

Devices does not show up in left-hand column

Ipod nano is connected to USB port and has fully charged. "Devices" doesn't show up in left-hand column. Library, Store, Genius, and Playlists are listed. Looked on public forums, but no viable solution displayed. I welcome suggestions. Nano was not recognized when used an older cable. 2nd cable worked.
I think it could be my PC's problem. It doesn't list the nano in control panel.
I reset the nano, to no avail.

Unless you have any devices it won't show up. The Apple TV is not a device that shows up in the devices list in iTunes, that was the Apple TV 1.

Adobe decided to discontinue development of Spry in August last year, and Dreamweaver CC made the switch to using jQuery UI widgets and effects.
