Using LoadRunner wirh SSL

Hi Guys
Having issues with Loadrunner playing SSL.
IT records okay but once you start to play back it stops with error messge..
The issue is with SSL... so please how do you set SSL combatibility with loadrunner 7.

I had never attempted to try this before... I hope I got it right.
I tried the following:
https://www.xxxx.com/Ep/customServices/services.cfc?method=isValidTempcard&tempCardNumber= 100008
Result:
-Nothing is displayed on the page (Is this the correct reponse?)
-the url changed to http
Again this is not something I have tried before so I'm unsure as to what I should be expecting.

    I'm trying to use Oracle Servlet Engine (Oracle SE 8.1.7.3) for HTTP+SSL connexion WITHOUT APACHE.
    I already managed to configure OSE this way
    in initxxx.ora :

    The problem is that it doesn't work : my web browser says that the
    tcp connection wes interrupted, and I got a TNS-12560 and a
    TNS-00540 in a dxxx_xxxxx.trc file in bdump
    Howerver, it MUST be possible : the manual "Oracle Servlet Engine User's Guide Release 3 (8.1.7)"
    (Part No. A83720-01) says "To support HTTPS, associate an additional
    SSL endpoint to the Web service" (page 7-3)
    (This little line is the only doc I have been able to found about OSE+SSL !!!)
    Is someone knows the solution ? ( I mean ORACLE+OSE+SSL+ NO APACHE )

    I've used Webdav over SSL ever since i started using webdav :)
    Infact many of my web servers are entirely ssl

    you need to get new certificate for iWS. It not possible to use same certificate, which one you got for weblogic server.

  • Decrypt Error using 2-way SSL

    I am exposing a stateless Session bean as a webservice and have setup truststore/keystore to allow clients access using 2-way SSL. Recently one of the clients beagn to get TLS Alert 51 - Decrypt Error during the SSL handshake, right after "HANDSHAKEMESSAGE: CertificateVerify". Other clients of 2-way SSL don't appear to have any issues.
    Has anyone seen this?

    I too am struggling with SSL but I was given some help by BEA. This does not help me since It seems like the proxy jar I download from the WS Home Page wants to go directly to the JPD not the jws. This example of two way SSL should work for you. I am including the Main class but not the generated files it refers to. I don't know how to attach files to the news groups. The key thing it to make use of the adapters. The Impl and Port are part of the downloaded proxy.

  • Dreaded "must be configured to use a valid SSL cert" - 2008 R2

    Hello everybody,
    I've been browsing through hundreds of topics on the dreaded "The RD Gateway server must be configured to use
    a valid SSL certificate" error using BPA (Windows Server 2008 R2 Std), but still haven't found a proper solution.
    Here's the issue: RDGW not operating properly and sometime accepting connections, sometimes not. 
    I have an external domain example.com and internally, the domain is example.local. I have one server serving Exchange and RD, this is the server responding to mail.example.com and I have an StartSSL issued cert for mail.example.com, which is properly configured
    on the server (OWA is working properly with autodiscover etc.). SSL bindings seem alright, default site is using the mail.example.com SSL cert.
    If I open the RDGW Manager and go to the SSL Certificate tab, the system looks happy by having the cert installed, everything looks fine. Sometimes I even manage to connect - connection is successful, I can normally connect to any of the servers or computers.
    On a second attempt, I just get the message, that the logon attempt had failed. If I run BPA on the server, I get the error of not having a proper SSL cert. If I select a self-signed cert, then also the BPA goes through, but then I have problems with connections
    since everybody would need this cert to have installed.
    From what I read, my problems are related to the issue that the FQDN of my server is servername.example.local and the cert is issued to mail.example.com. How can I make the thing only to talk via the mail.example.com cert? I don't think I can get a cert
    that'd also contain a SAN of servername.example.local from the CA.
    What can I do?

    Thanks for posting in Windows Server Forum.
    Here providing you the article for BPA’s configuration logs, where you can check. It also states that certificate are main problem related to this error. Please check certificate which you have bound have FQDN name of gateway server, the certificate is SSL
    certificate and it’s a trusted certificate. Also check that certificate which you have importing to RD gateway must be in local computer/personal store. For more information refer below article.

    2. RDS: The RD Gateway server must be configured to use a valid SSL certificate
    In addition, you need to specify the FQDN name of RD gateway under
    DefaultTSgateway in IIS setting. Please go through below article for details.

  • Using Loadrunner to test Jinitiator applets

    I am not familiar with JInitiator, and I am currently researching using LoadRunner 7.5 to perform load testing on an applet using JInitiator 1.1.8.19. The applet also uses Java RMI as its messaging protocol.
    Is there any information about how to do load testing on JInitiator, or has anyone used Loadrunner for Jinitiator jvm-based testing before?
    If so, any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Of course, the deadline for my research was yesterday! :/

    You want to use LoadRunner 7.5 to load test Forms? This is possible, just make sure you use Oracle NCA. The rest should be straighforward.
    You don't test JInitiator, as such. LoadRunner will simulate the clients. So you don't need to do "Jinitiator jvm-based testing". Remember, you're testing Forms on the middle tier, no JInitiator on the client.

    Hi Zhihua,
    First delete all the cookies from your browser.
    Close all the internet sessions which are opened in your system. During your script recording
    Open only 1 session which you will be recording for java script.
    The above mention log is the cookies from the internet explorer.
    its of no use for the script you can even delete from the script.

  • Dreamweaver (on Windows 7) wont connect to IIS (v7) Server using "FTP over SSL/TLS..."

    I am evauating wether to purchase Dreamweaver CS6...
    Dreamweaver CS6 trial (on Windows 7) wont connect to IIS (v7) Server using "FTP over SSL/TLS (explicit encryption)".  I have a NEW Godaddy SSL certificate installed on the IIS server. 
    On connecting Dreamweaver states: "Server Certificate has expired or contains invalid data"
    I have tried:
    -ALL the Dreamweaver Server setup options
    -Using multiple certificates (tried 2048 bit and 4096 bit Godaddy SSL certificates)
    -Made sure the certificate 'issued to' domain name matches my domain name.
    I am able to connect no problem using Filezilla, with equivalent Filezilla setting "Require explicit FTP over TLS".  I can also connect fine using Microsoft Expression web.

    1) You should update your tread (forums.adobe.com/thread/889530) to reflect that it still occurs on CS6 (I had already read it but figured it was an old tread and thus should be fixed by now). 
    2) You said “These warnings will also pop up for your users if you have a store saying the SSL certificate does not match the domain/ip and this can make users checking out in a storefront very nervous” .  This does not seem to be correct – my https pages display properly using the same Godaddy certificate … using IE:
    3) Godaddy is not my host (I use Amazon AWS) – but the SSL certificate is from them.

    I have seen a lot of messages talking about problems with
    HTTPService and SSL (https) regarding Flex 1.5.
    What I would like to know is if there are any similar issues
    in Flex 2? I am using HTTPService to access an https address
    through a reverse proxy and am getting an IO error (streaming
    error) for reasons beyond me. The first thing I want to know is
    whether there are any obvious bugs or required work-arounds when

  • Need help in using DemoIdentity for SSL testing

    Hi everybody,
    What I want to achieve:
    I want to test a web service over HTTPS using DemoIdentity.
    What I've done:
    1- From Server->AdmingServer->Keystores, I configured AdminServer to use DemoIdentity and DemoTrust Keystores.
    2- From Server->AdmingServer->SSL, I configured it to Use Server Certs so that I don't have to define a Service Key Provider.
    3- I created the Business Service with HTTPS endpoint.
    What I got:
    1- the backend system is showing an error that peer (OSB) did not send certificate.
    2- in AmdinServer log, I see that OSB has successfully loaded DemoIdentity and DemoTrust. But after backend sends a certificate request, I see this line:
    Returning no identity certificates, because certificate request message contains no CA names
    My questions:
    What does this mean? what am I doing wrong?
    I've been trying to do this test for the past two weeks with lots of failed attempts. I've read almost all of the manuals regarding security and WLS and OSB.
    Please respond with something from your experience, don't refer me to manuals :)

    1- Webservice client is a Proxy Service in OSB server. And the Webservice is accessed through another system (IBM Datapower).
    2- It's one way. Only my server needs to send it's certificate to them.

  • I am getting the ssl error when trying to use launchpad on ssl, i can access adminui through ssl with no errors but launchpad says "unable to find valid certification path to requested target"

    Hi I desperately need help  to fix this error. I installed Adobe LCES4 with ssl enabled and i can access the adminui and workspace on the browser but he problem is when i try connecting to launchpad using https on the server even doing the simple thing like converting document to pdf throws the following error.

    We tried adding certificate in trustore.jks file, but it was not successful.
    What error you are getting while importing the certificate?
    Just perform below steps once:
    Download required certificate first
    Run CMD as administrator> move to SUP_HOME\Servers\UnwiredServer\Repository\Security
    Paste this syntex.

    I'm trying to script up a basic load test of the SAP Portal using Load Runner HTTP/HTML protocol. I've dome some correlation but I'm finding the web_submit_data functions seem to be passsing garbage for the eventQueue (see below).
