Using profile meet termination

When I use profile tool in Flash® Builder™ 4.5,It terminate.
When I look the .log file,it write

Thanks guys. Yes I knew the typo. In the apps I did use the current syntaxt.
Dev guide does say that $PROFILES is supported. I suppose it is for the where clause.
Whatever the case may be, defaulting using this method does not work.
Srini, are you saying that the 'Profile' method of defaulting also doesn't work? I tried using $PROFILES$ method via a sql statement.
If none of these work I'll open an ER.

This is the quick rundown: Just as with regular profiles, you first need to make sure that your content has the profile trigger metadata field assigned when it's created. This is done within designer under "Switch region content" definition of your contribution region. The font "Georgia" appears blurred and the pixel fonts I regularly view and use (such as Terminal and Silkscreen) do not appear properly.

So in a few of the websites I use (namely livejournal and dreamwidth), I always use georgia and either terminal or silkscreen for an account layout, but ever since upgrading the 19.0 beta, georgia looks readable but blurry while every word styled in terminal or silkscreen appears as a sans-serif font. Is there a way to go around this? Something in the encoding used?

The terminal font is probably a bitmap (raster) font and Firefox no longer supports such fonts, so you won't see them.
The Silkscreen font is available as a true type version and should work in Firefox.

Such pixel (bitmap) fonts only look good in their native resolution, so make sure that you aren't zooming web pages.
Reset the page zoom on pages that cause problems.

That is is always a problem when you are using multiple profiles and Firefox isn't running.
It might work if no profile is selected (i.e. marked as Default=1 in profiles.ini).<br />
You can use desktop shortcut that open with a specific profile (-P "profile").<br />
There is also a setting in the Profile Manager (Don't ask at startup).

Possible for using profiler for creating workload for Database Engine Tuning Advisor in case of SSRS reports

I have SSRS reports with each 5 parameters. Parameter datasets includes statements like WHERE @CategoryKey
I have 20 tables in SQL Server. We don't have OLAP cube.
I have created SQL Server Profiler trace. I have clicked all reports during process.
I have opened Database Engine Tuning Advisor.
I have selected all tables to Tune.
Tuning options are Indexes/No Partitioning/Keep all existing PDS
Result is following:
14% improvement
10 recommendations (8 statistic for Calender table and 2 index for Calender)
Tuning logs:
S008 exec sp_executesql N' LongSQLStatment including IN (@CategoryKey) Event does not reference any tables
S007 Replaced event exec sp_executesql
My question is that why I did not get any recommendations for other tables that Calender?
Could it be because of SSRS parameters like @CategoryKey?
Is it possible at all to use SQL Server profile for creating workload in case of SSRS reports with parameters?
I have tables and reports like ProductSales, which I suppose should be get indexedbecause of WHERE statements.
I have where statement like Month and Category and Color.

Yes it is possible to capture a trace using profiler, but please provide the t-sql behind your dataset before I can answer your question about the DTA recommandations.

Debug ? You can use SQL Developer, TOAD, PLSQL Developer for this purpose.

First - thanks for your help.
Closing this out - here is what I learned:
1) Needed to ensure my server was Kerberised and that Kerebos was running correctly
2) Local users have precedence over network so I need to ensure I don't use the same short name. While using the "id" command you may be able to see the network user ID, the local of the same name appears to take precedence.
3) Using the "kinit" command useful for confirming Kerebos is working correctly
4) Home directories created - had already done this but what finally got this working was stopping and restarting AFP Service.
So was able to successfully login to Mac Client using OD username and password - it mounted the network home share just fine on the client, loaded preferences etc.
Now on to create network users with Mobile Accounts for my laptop users - wish me luck

I tried using the above terminal command to reset launch services but it does not seem to work. I still have multiple entries. What am I doing wrong?

You may have to clarify. Multiple entries in Open With can be normal. For example if you have multiple versions of an application for whatever reason, they will all show. Plus, any applications that report being able to open a file type will show (had an annoyingly long list for text files on my old machine as some apps that didn't even handle documents such as games reported being able to open them).

You only remove bookmarks if you delete bookmarks in a smart folder. If you delete that folder then you delete the smart bookmark and not the bookmarks in the list. A smart bookmark is a query and the result of the query is shown as the content of such a folder. A long as such a gives a result then you see content in the folder, so the only way not to see those bookmarks is to remove the smart bookmark.

I agree with you. However, if we take a trip in the "wayback machine" to the big forum changeover (can it really be that long ago?), I was BILL HUNT. Notice that everything is in all caps, because I'd had this one, from the earliest days of Adobe on the Internet. That was what the OS's of the day did.
The forum changeover happened, and out of almost nowhere, the_wine_snob surfaced. Immediately, I went to change this back to BILL HUNT, or the updated, Bill Hunt. Could not do it. Both names were taken. In 2.5 days? I could not believe this. I had filled in the little info screen, prior to the changeover, with all data - same e-dress, same screen name, etc.. With the fora down for those few days, and me logging in as soon as they came up, how could others get my name? Must be a lot of BILL HUNT's in OZ, or NZ!!! Believe me, I tried. I had never posted to any Adobe forum, even back to the NTTP-only days, as other than BILL HUNT. Gone. Still, I try to sign every post with "Hunt."
I hear you, but many seemed to get caught in the same "trickbag," as I was.
At least with this screen name, if I hit a few keys incorrectly, or mis-remember something in a product forum, the readers can "fill in the blanks." Too much wine...

Managed App Configuration using Profile Manager

Hello,
We're using Profile Manager as the MDM server of our iPads. Everything works fine except that recently we want to manage some app configurations through MDM, but were unable to find the Managed App Configuration settings from Profile Manager.
May I know if Profile Manager supports Managed App Configuration for iOS?

We are not running it yet but I am believe that when you setup a user in airwatch or another MDM and you install the agent on a device the user has to authenticate with AD creds, so then you can configure it to pull a cert from your SCEP server using those creds and it will then pull a user cert. instead of a generic certificate. Obviously that is a pretty dumbed down explination but in a nutshell that is how it is going to work.

I m a networking student and I have learned to connect 2 machines on Red hat Linux OS on same Ethernet LAN which has same subnet mask. As Mac OS X is also a linux based OS I m trying to connect my Mac with my friends windows based machine using telnet <ip address of his machine>. However, I get a message "unable to connect to remote host".
Can anyone please tell me is this the problem because of different OS or it is something different!

The machine you're trying to connect to needs a Telnet server running on it - telnetd listening on port 23 (usually).
Incidentally, Mac OS X is not a Linux based OS, it is based on BSD Unix.

Single user authorization ... without using profile..

If we create a role ZFIAPP_TRANSACTIONS for the finance dept. and assign it to 8 user's. after that a user request for another t-code authorization w'll have to edit this role rather than creating a new one and assign the t-code into this role.. it w'll effect to all 8 user's which they already have the same role my question is there any way to have changes only to one user's not other's. also I don't want to create a role and assign to a single user ....
and is there any way to assign authorization without using profile.
please clarify on this...

If you will change the role then it will be applicable to all 8 users. to be effective for only one user you have the only option of creating a different role with the new t-code.
