Using Semantic Logging out of Proc, want to log current Deployment Id and Role Id in SLABLogsTable as it does itself in WADWindowsEventLogsTable.

In our application, we are implementing SLAB Out of Proc. I want to log current Deployment Id and Role Id in SLABLogsTable as it does itself in WADWindowsEventLogsTable.
I can do this by adding custom parameters in payload but then I need to pass them in each and every event raised.
But in WADWindowsEventLogsTable, deployement Id , Role , Role Instance are logged on its own.
How do I get those for event raised by my application.

Hi,
Per my understanding, if you want to leverage the automatic DeploymentId and Role data logging for WADWindowsEventLogsTable, you could try something like:
Trace.TraceError("Messages");
EventLog.WriteEntry("MySource","Messages",EventLogEntryType.Error);
Which mentioned in
http://weblogs.asp.net/jdanforth/how-to-do-custom-event-logging-and-trace-writing-in-azure. If you mean you don't want to repeat coding the implementation to achieve/pass the DeploymentId and Role data every time you call
this.WriteEvent(101, txt, deploymentId, roleId); from my experience since deployment ID and role data are constant, you can write a helper method:
WriteEventHelper(int code, string text)
// You can also get the value of DeploymentId/Role via
RoleEnvironment Properties
    this.WriteEvent(code, text, deploymentId, roleId);
then whenever you want to write logs, you call this helper method intead of calling WriteEvent directly.
Best Regards,
Ming Xu

Why am I getting this error message every time I open iTunes? I'm giving the option of Sync or don't Sync and click sync and there are no problems. But why does it open with: You are signed in with a different Apple ID than previously used with Podcasts. Do you want to sync these podcast subscriptions and stations with “*****”?

Correct. When you update via iTunes all synced media that is not in your iTunes library will be lost.
    As IO said before:
You can redownload most iTunes pruchases by:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
I do not think it included audio books.

There's an issue currently that a lot of us are experiencing in that we all get the error message "iTunes is currently unavailable; please try later"
It's an issue with Apple and we're awaiting an update re this
I've posted a topic in regards to this after having a long conversation with Apple support this morning and will be receiving a call from their tech team tomorrow to run through it further
As it stands iTunes cannot be accessed via ATV's and nor can it be streamed via AirPlay from iTunes to the ATV
However I can access all films/iCloud content via my Mac Mini with no issues!

  • How to log out of my OLD apple ID on my 4s and use my new one?

When updating my iPhone 4s to the new ios7, my imessage stopped working as many others did. I finally got that fixed and as soon as that was fixed.. NOW my old apple id keeps popping up instead of my new one. I made my old one 5 years ago when i first got my macbook. How do I log out and stop using my old apple id?

To change the iCloud ID on your phone you have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password for the old ID when prompted to turn off Find My iPhone, then sign back in with the ID you wish to use.  When you do this you may find that the password for your old ID isn't accepted.  If this should happen, and if your old ID is an earlier version of your current ID, you have to temporarily recreate your old ID by going to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID.  Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change.  Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address.  You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iPhone on your phone, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll.  When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iPhone when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud).  Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was.  Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

  • Cannot log out permanently from Folio Builder, logs itsels in upon ID restart

I'm teaching DPS authoring to a group of students and want them to be able to sync their work at the school with their home computers. So they logged in from the Folio Builder Panel on CS6. This happened previously from a specific modal dialog inside Folio Builder. Now it summond AAM and doesn't give the choice to not to remember account as it did before.
But annoying as this may be, this shouldn't avoid logging out manually from the Folio Builder, which has an option for that. The issue is that Folio Builder logs itself into the account automatically on InDesign restart. There seems no way to permanently log out from Folio Builder (or rather AAM now). So it's just absurd to be able to log out temporarily if the account is remembered no matter how.
As  convinient this may be on home or professional devices, this poses a serious security and privacy concern for me and my students who can not seem to unlink their personal or professional AdobeID from the school setup, allowing anyone using those computers to access their DPS Cloud and potentially deleting works, uploading undesired content, breaching all sorts of confidientiality agreements, etc.
I would really appreciate some input on this issue and a way to permanently sign out from AAM / Folio Builder

You should be able to force the logout by quitting InDesign and deleting this folder: /Users/{username}/Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE and then restarting InDesign.
    Yes, this is awkward

  • User1 logs out, JSESSIONID not deleted, User2 logs in and gets User1s Data

We've searched the web for the better part of a year now to try to solve this, and are hoping someone somewhere has figured it out. We have SiteMinder in front of our Tomcat6, JBoss6 and 7, and WebLogic 10 servers. Trouble happens when a user logs into an application that generates a JSESSIONID in a location other than / in the browser, i.e. /foo/JSESSIONID<value>. When the user logs out, if the JSESSIONID cookie isn't located at /, it doesn't get removed. The next user comes along, authenticates to SiteMinder, goes into the same application, and since the JSESSIONID cookie still remains from the previous user, the second user sees the first user's data, which may be personal SAP data, Siebel, PeopleSoft, etc.
We have hundreds of developers; getting them to all store their JSESSIONID cookies in / (with some unique name either at the front or end of their application's JSESSIONID cookie) would be an arduous undertaking; enforcing it going forward would be even more difficult.
I've read countless posts across the Internet where other people have had this problem, but no good or usable solutions yet. "Tell the user to close the browser" isn't an option because we can't force them to do so (even though it's in their best interested to do so). The location of JSESSIONID will usually be unknown, and as far as I know, cannot be obtained from the browser, for security reasons. Each developer has the ability to store the cookie in any path the choose. (It's my understanding that they started using different paths because at one time it wasn't possible to rename the JSESSIONID (if it even is now), and having multiple applications storing JSESSIONID at / would cause the second one to cancel out the first one, the third one to cancel out the second one, etc, so a user could use only a single application at a time.
I hope I'm explaining this well enough, and that someone, somewhere, has come up with a solution to this.
    Much oblige!

    My apologies about the ambiguity.
Without being able to make a picture or drawing it's not so easy, but here's the steps that happen:
In this example I'll use an app called FOO that User1 and User2 need to login to.
User1 goes to our intranet and attempts to access FOO.
User1's request is intercepted by SiteMinder.
User1 authenticates to SiteMinder, at which time an SMSESSION cookie is created in the browser.
If User1 is authorized to use FOO, he's then forwarded onto the FOO login.
User1 authenticates to FOO, at which time a JSESSIONID cookie is created in the browser, but not at / (root). It may be created in /FOO/JSESSIONID<value>, or it may be elsewhere.
User1 finishes his FOO session and logs out. The logout.shtml page terminates the SMESSION (SiteMinder) session for User1. However, it's can't remove the JSESSIONID cookie because it's not in / (root) in the browser. User1 logs out, but does not close the browser.
User2 comes along behind User1, and wants to use the FOO application, using the same PC as User1.
User2 attempts to launch FOO. SiteMinder intercepts the call and wants User2 to first authenticate to SiteMinder, which he does. SiteMinder generates an SMSESSION cookie for User2.
User2 now attempts to login to FOO. But because the JSESSIONID cookie is still there (leftover from User1's session because it couldn't be removed), User2 is taken directly into User1's FOO information.
This is much easier to view conceptually with a drawing, however hopefully this will explain the process a bit better. Thank you for your reply and effort to help with this. I'm very grateful.

  • I log out properly but when i log back in a message appears basically saying it cant open my page due another one being not closed properly before. WHY?

I log out correctly every time making sure all windows are closed but every time i log back in a window appears saying "well this is embarrassing, we are having trouble opening your page (or something close to that, i cant remember the exact words) then at the bottom it says"this is usually due to a window being open (or close to that) then it asks me if i want to close or restore the session and it has a list of the last 2 pages i opened.
But i ALWAYS close them before logging out. Why does it keep doing this? Do we have a clever hacker or something?

hello lexi, this is currently a problem in firefox when you first close all open firefox windows and then close the application afterwards - the bug should be addressed in a later version of firefox.
as a workaround in the meanwhile you could close firefox (through firefox > quit) while the browser window is still running or try this: enter about:config into the firefox location bar (confirm the info message in case it shows up) & search for the preference named '''browser.sessionstore.resume_from_crash'''. double-click it and change its value to '''false'''.

    Hi,
    Long path
    Hard Drive/Users/(Your account)/Library/Preferences
In Cover Flow view with the Name column selected it should look like this
    iChat 5 has a few more iChat.plist
In iChat > Preferences > Accounts does the name have  lightbulb next to it ?
This would indicate it is  a Jabber login and Google is a Jabber server.
It is late where I am and I will not pick up new messages for a while.

  • How can i log out of my icloud? i changed email accounts and password

i tried deleting the account but i cant because i need to disable find my iphone and in order to do that, i needed my old emails password. but because that account no longer exits, the password doesnt work so i basically cant delete my account. is there another way?

Go to https//appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID.  Tap edit next to the primary email account, tap Edit, change it back to your old email address and save the change.  Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address.  You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iPhone on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud).  Next, go back to https//appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was.  Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

I already looked at the adobe site for solutions for it but it seems that none of those help at my problem.
