Using the cache in Data Integrator

Hi,
I'm trying to understand if is possible restrict the use of cache in Data Integrator to load initial datasource to limit the use of server resources.
I understand from the manual to set the option to use the type of dataflow cache: Pageable or In-Memory. This option does not solve my problem. I would like to avoid to load all the cached datasource.
Is possible to perform query objects directly without first loading all data sources in the tables?

Certainly it is unusual that you can still see the tables available in your MS Access database but cannot see the columns? I am assuming you are configuring an Open Statement step and are trying to use the ring-control to select columns from your table?
Can you tell me more about the changes you made to your file when you 'changed' it with MS Access? What version of Access are you using? What happens if you try and manually type in an 'Open Statement Dialog's SQL string such as...
"SELECT UUT_RESULT.TEST_SOCKET_INDEX, UUT_RESULT.UUT_STATUS, UUT_RESULT.START_DATE_TIME FROM UUT_RESULT"
Is it able to find the columns even if it can't display them? I am worried that maybe you are using a version of MS Access that is too new for the version of TestSt
and you are running. Has anything else changed aside from the file you are editing?

Query is not using the cache

We are on 7.3 and I have been doing some performance tuning. I've noticed that even though a query is in the query aggregate in the cache monitor when I run it for the 1st time every morning it does not use the cache. I traced it from ST05 and verified this. However when I run it the second time during the day it uses the cache. The query cache mode is set to 5. do you know why it does this? I am using the exact same parameters when I run the query every time.

You need to use following process of process chain: "Attribute change run (ATTRIBCHAN)". This process needs to be incorporated into your process chains which loads data into provider on top of which your query is based.

How do I stop Firefox from auto-loading websites on startup? Why doesn't it use the cache?

When I open up Firefox, I see a row of "loading circles" swishing around. I don't want my browser to do this, because it slows down my internet connection, it's unnecessary 95% of the time (I often keep tabs open just to have quick access to some text), and sometime it's actually detrimental (for example, when the page has changed since the last time I loaded it, but I actually wanted the information from the former state of the page).
How do I fix it so that Firefox uses the cached page instead of trying to load a new one?
To clarify: I want Firefox to load the new page when I visit a bookmark, or click on a link to a page I've seen before, or press the reload button. I just don't want it to do this when all I've done is start up Firefox.
Let the tabs sit there until I tell them to do something! Can anyone help?

I am using the High Speed Data Logger vi to read from a 16 channel A/D card (NI PCI-MIO-16E). The project may require more than 16 channels. How can I use High Speed Data Logger to read from two A/D cards? Will it be able to write the data to one file?

The High Speed Data Logger vi will not acquire and right to multiple DAQ boards at the same time without modification. LabVIEW is more than capable of doing this what you are trying to do, but you will have to modify the code.

Using the Import Test Data Wizard

Using Oracle HTMLDB 1.6.0.00.87
Whenever we try to use the import test data wizard, even using a simple text file such as: "Forname","Surname"

the file does not import correctly. We are trying to import to a new table and uploading a txt file with the above content. What we get in the set table properties is something like: Column Names : rom_wwv_flow_file_objects
Data Type:VARCHAR2
Format:
Column Length: 30
Upload: Yes
Row 1: Where n
Any ideas? We tried the same test at the UK Oracle user group conference with success. Is there a set up problem on our server?

Force download video in stead of using the cache ?

Hello,
Does anyone has expierence with the fact that when you
connect to an flv file to play video in flash
the first time it will download the flv file. But suppose i
change the content of the flv file but keep the name the same it
will play the previous video because it's using the cache of
IExplorer.
Is there a way to force the download? Or a way when the movie
is finished to clear that cached movie?
I also tried to unload the movie, but that doesn't do the
trick.
If someone has a fix for this, please let me know.

I have Connection pool for Sybase database that I am using in my JPD. I am using Database control of weblogic to call the Sybase Stored procedure.
I got following exception when I was doing load testing with 30 concurrent users.
Any idea why this exception is coming ?

Hitesh Hi. Please note below, the stacktrace and exception is coming from the
Pointbase DBMS, nothing to do with Sybase. It seems to be an issue
with a configurable limit for PointBase, that you are exceeding.
Please read the PointBase configuration documents, and/or configure
your MDBs to use Sybase.

When to use the Export To Data Moderler design option

Is there an advantage or difference between sending someone a model created using the Export > "To Data Modeler Design" tool as opposed to just sending them a copy of the folder tree for the same model? If yes, could you please explain what the differences are?

Error 91 - Trying to Use the Variant to Data Function

I am running into a problem when trying to use variants in my application. I have a state machine set-up in that one state creates a task list (cluster of arrays) and then converts it to variant. The variant is fed into a shift register that allows me to access the task list from a different state.
The problem comes when I try to use the Variant to Data function. I right click on the task cluster to create a constant, and then wire that to the TYPE terminal of the Variant to Data Function. I wire the task cluster variant to the VARIANT terminal. When I run the VI, i get error 91: Possible reason(s): LabVIEW: The data type of the variant is not compatible with the data type wired to the type input.".
How can I get this error when the type I wired to the TYPE terminal of the Variant to Data terminal is a constant created from the exact type created a variant from???

You can do it thru RSRT, choosing HTML, the query and the template, then in the menu you have to check the box dont use cache, aggragates and BIA.

If you want to restore a reomoved app,you need to use
Add-AppxPackage to add a signed app package (.appx) to a user account.
But we cannot extract them from the ISO.
The behavior is by design.And this is a software protection regime.

Does the private browsing mode in FF3.6 use the cache from normal mode?

While I'm in PB mode, does FF3.6 use the data from '''normal''' mode cache?
The purpose of asking this Q is: I'm a web developer. I want to visit a site freshly (without any data used from cache). But I don't want to clear all my cache/cookies etc from all the sites I've visited so far. So I wish if I can switch to PB mode and visit this one site which doesn't use any data from normal mode cache .

Firefox doesn't use the disk cache in Private Browsing mode, but does use the memory cache. See the about:cache page.
In Private Browsing cookies from normal mode are not available and a new set of (session) cookies will be created that will be removed if you exit Private Browsing mode.<br />
You can see that in the cookies manager: Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
