UWL: Addtional filter should be shown up as default (Show Filters)

Dear ALL,
In UWL content area (Workitem Table) we have some thing called Show Filters/Hidefilter option. by default the Addtional filters are not shownup in the UWL screen. Once we click show filter then addtional filter fields will be shownup in the UWL Screen.
my requirement is by default(While loading the UWL page/iview) automatically the addtional filters should be shown. can you help me out from this isse.

You'll have to modify the UWL configuration file and use the defaultViewFilter attribute :

Add the Show Filters, Hide Preview and Refresh links from the UWL

I've searched the forum and was unable to find an answer to this question. In the UWL main screen, "Show Filters" and "Hide Previiew" appear in the right corner of the UWL iView (not in the tray, on the actual iView).
I would like to add "Refresh" link there as well. This doesn't appear to be handled in the iView properties or the XML file. We've done this before, but I can't seem to remember how.
Has anyone else done this?

I came across this issue on my iPad and iPhone today. I did some research and it was suggested that you need to change your region to wherever in the world you originally purchased the app.
This worked for me.
I had tried signing in and out, deleting apps and resetting my devices; because I had never used any Apple ID except for my own personal one, I thought that those options would sort it. I changed my region to the uk (where the apps were purchased) and now they have updated with no other issues.

this is to inform you that, there is a requriment in reporting perspective (ALV),
Requriment:
i have to generate a ALV report which is viewed by our CFO with one t.code, in that report suppose there are 10 fields.
That is a specific report if some body apart from my CFO uses the same tcode to generate the same report than it has to display only 5 fields.
if my CFO uses the same t.code all the 10 fields must be visible.
please help me how to do it.

There are couple of ways to achieve this,
1) - Create 2 variants, 1 variant for CFO with all the fields & 2nd variant with only relevant fields. Then use the authorization concept, where basis can restrict the access / execution of the report with specific variants.
From the basis view, they create role & assign this variants in one of the object ( not sure). Basis assistance required
2) - When developing report, write the validation for the respective fields such as maintain Customize table in which maintain userID's & fields which they can access. Display only those fields to the userID who executes this report. It should check this customize table for this UserID & only those fields listed should get displayed. ( for all the fields, instead maintaining each field, you can enter "ALL",
Eg: UserID -
Fields
CFO -
ALL ( report should display all the fields)
NONCFO-------Field1 | Field2 | Field3 | Field4 | Field5 ( only these fields should get displayed)
Note: In Customize table either you can maintain with User ID or Role. It will be more convinient in future as well.

Try the below steps.
Open Query Designer --->
Open Query thats needs to be edited --->
In the left panel, select the CALCULATED KEY FIGURE that needs to hold the % symbol --->
Right click on the selected CALCULATED KEY FIGURE --->
click EDIT --->
in the new pop-up window, use the function '%A' as displayed - NDIV0 ( 'NUMERATOR' %A 'DENOMINATOR' ) - in the Formula window of the CALCULATED KEY FIGURE --->
Click OK in the pop-up window --->
now use the edited CALCULATED KEY FIGURE in the query.
This will help resolve your issue.

You can't log into any site and see your account's balance. You can log into your account on your iPad via Settings > iTunes & App Store - on my iOS devices my balance shows at the bottom of, for example, the Featured tab in the App Store app under my account id (or you can view your account via Settings > iTunes & App Stores and it should show on the screen that you are taken to). You may not see anything if your account's balance is zero.
Not sure what you mean by relationship iTunes has to products. You can buy music, films, TV shows, audiobooks via the iTunes app on your iPad, and apps via the App Store app - what you buy will be tied to your iTunes account.

My Roboform passwords did not transfer when I downloaded the 4.0.1 version of FF. I downloaded and paid for a new version of Roboform which should have shown up as a toolbar but didn't. Can't seem to solve this problem.

Windows XP on Dell Dimension 4600. Updated Firefox to 4.0.1 successfully but Roboform didn't transfer. Help told me I needed to update Roboform. I did and paid for a new version(7.?)which was $9.95. Roboform wants more details but I can't tell what they want. I'm baffled and frustrated since all my passwords are hidden somewhere. Wish I'd never upgraded FF.

Nothing is working and I can't find the Roboform toolbar. Your lack of direct support is really irritating- a live chat at least would be helpful.

Recently Firefox is not displaying PDF files. It acts like it loads the PDF but there is nothing there but the 'program' that the document should be shown in.

This started with Firefox 20 and still persists with Firefox 21. It never happened before. Everything is up to date. However, the PDFs don't display. Sometimes I can see the progress bar showing a load and sometimes it's just the normal PDF program background, but regardless, it is not displaying. What's happening with this?
By the way, I end up having to go to Chrome to view the PDF since I cannot get them to work in Firefox.

Firefox 19 introduced an integrated PDF viewer. Unfortunately, it can't handle all of the formats and features supported by the Adobe plugin (yet). To switch, check out this article: [[How to disable the built-in PDF viewer and use another viewer]]. Does that solve it?

GL should not shown in NOT ASSIGNED node in T-Code: F.01

My user don't want to show few GLs in FSV (i.e., in T-Code: F.01), that too in Non Assigned Node also.
Is there any setting for the same?

There is no setting for that. The only way that I can think of is to put them in the G/L account exclusion list in the selection screen of F.01. Click on Multiple Selection icon next to G/L account from to fields and paste those accounts in Exclude Single Values tab. To get the list of accounts under not assigned node, execute T Code OB58, highlight the financial statement version and click on Fin.statement items button. Now click on Check (Ctrl+F5) icon and carry out the checks to get the list of not assigned accounts at the chart of accounts level or for a specific company code.
Tip: You can create a selection variant for F.01 with the excluded accounts, so you do not have to do this everytime you run F.01.

UI Designer, DataModel-View, Element-Search-Filter should ignore case

I'm currently working within UI Designer and want to bind elements to my OWL.
After selecting a name space and a BO afterwards, I want to search within the loaded BO meta data.
Doing so, I figured out that the search is case sensitive.
In other words, search for 'node' brings no results, but 'Node' does the job.
Hopefully there are no derivations like 'nOde'

Default Show Filter Interactive Report

Hi,
When going to a page that has an Interactive Report is it possible to have the filter shown by default.
I have a page that is accessed via a modal popup that contains an Interactive Report that is used as a filter for the original page so when the user goes to that page all the user will do is add filters so I want to display the filter option by default.

Simplifying the UWL 'Show Filters' option

In EP7 (2004s) the default UWL filtering option is more complex than we would like, all we want is for users to search by a text string on their work items as per our old release (EP6).
The UWL documentation states that the link 'Show/Hide Filter' can be hidden but there is no mention whether this can be customised.
The options 'High Priority', 'Due Date' and 'Sent Date' are irrelevant for our views hence we would like to remove them even if this required amendment to the SAP standard UWL code.
I've looked in the PAR files com.sap.netweaver.bc.uwl and com.sap.netweaver.bc.uwl.ui but I can't find where these options are in order to remove them.
Does anyone know how the filter can be modified?

I would be vitally interested to know how you removed the show/hide filters option from the UWL overview. I also have searched the XML files and other config and could not find a means to accomplish this. Your advice would be appreciated.
