Hi Vic,
Did you try using the role "pcd:portal_content/every_user/general/eu_role" (every user)?
If this does not help as well I would consider opening a CSS ticket via http://service.sap.com/message

General Key Figure Monitor doesn't display data in the portal
Hi...
I have configured the general key figure monitor in SPRO. I executed the program KFM_VALUE_DET_SCHEDULE. When I execute the portal iview using the context id, the key figure data does't display. The context id is set to the key figure category.
Any ideas?Hi
Thanks, that was just what I was looking for.
I have verified that it is the right task, but unfortunately I still have an issue.
If I add tasks like uwl.task.webflow.default.TS92000077 or uwl.task.webflow.TS92000077 in a view under Support Itemtypes, then these tasks are still not shown in my list.
If I add another task that exist in the default configuration file (under system registration) then it works fine.
Please look at the two screendumps under item Type. In the screendump that works the complete name is shown under Item Type and in the other case only a prefix call default is displayed.

Am I missing some configuration in the backed or does anyone have any idea where this information is received from?
Thanks in advance

We are using UWL to approve or reject travel request.
If I click on approve button I get a message as Approve failed .Same for reject also,
If I check the checkbox for approve and click submit decision button I get an error as "Function is obsolete(successor:SAP_WAPI_Decision _Complete)"
I checked the webflow connector system alias it is Sap_Webdynpro_Xss
The RFC destination for the same is also maintained in visual admin.
However when I test the system I get ITS and connection test successful but the webAs test fails.
In WebAS properties the webAs path is mentioned as /webdynpro/dispatcher.
Do we need to activate any service in SICF for this ?
Please suggest .I feel the error is somewhere linked to this WebAS test failure.
Thanks in advance;

Need help in developing a webdynpro application using UWL API
Hi developers,
Iam developing a new WebDynpro application for UWL using UWL API.the functionality is to dispaly the summary of UWL like number of unread items, total items.
Iam getting the problem while deploying the application, iam getting warning while deployed the application.
I have given all possible ways mentioned in the below forum link
Re: Accessing PortalRuntime at runtime?
The exact problem is coming at reference file.
Please giude me how to move forward.
1. Below is the error when given "tckmcbc.uwl~api" in the service entry
deployed with warning :
Finished with warnings: development
Caught exception during application startup from SAP J2EE Engine's deploy service:
java.rmi.RemoteException: Error occurred while starting application local/UWLCountDemo and wait. Reason: Clusterwide exception: server ID 21763550:com.sap.engine.services.deploy.container.DeploymentException: Clusterwide exception: Failed to prepare application local/UWLCountDemo for startup. Reason=Clusterwide exception: Failed to start dependent service ''tckmcbc.uwl~api'' of application ''local/UWLCountDemo''. Status of dependent component: STATUS_MISSING. Hint: Is the component deployed correctly on the engine?
2.Below is the error when i gave PORTAL:sap.com/tckmcbc.uwl~api in the sharing refernce entry
Finished with warnings: development
Caught exception during application startup from SAP J2EE Engine's deploy service:
java.rmi.RemoteException: Error occurred while starting application local/UWLCountDemo and wait. Reason: Clusterwide exception: server ID 21763550:com.sap.engine.services.deploy.exceptions.ServerDeploymentException: Application local/UWLCountDemo cannot be started. Reason: it has hard reference to resource tckmcbc.uwl~api with type application, which is not active on the server.
Thanks in Advance

The .sca-file can be found on the sap service marketplace, afterwards you need to import the .sca-file, add the SC to your "MyComponents" and then you can select your necessary DC's. -
Error while activating substitue in UWL
Hello again,
I created a substitue profil "ESS" and a task classification "LEAVE".
I also assigned the classification "LEAVE" to the substitute profil "ESS".
Via TX pftc I made the task TS 12300097 (Approval Process) a "General Task" with classification "LEAVE".
When I switch on the substitution profil "ESS" in the UWL on portal side, I get the following error message:
System: AdhocSystem | Status:failed | Message: System does not support these tasks.
We are using SAP ECC 6.04 and the NetWeaver Portal.
Thank you.did you check these steps
You can arrange tasks and workflows into various classes within the SAP
System. The classes professional, personal and disciplinary are
standard. The system checks the task class under the field name
TASK_CLASS in the authorization object S_WF_WI. This system uses this
authorization object to check the authorization for carrying out
specific actions on particular work items. The assignment of tasks to
classes is also important in the definition of substitutes. You can
also define that only those classes are displayed which refer to tasks
or workflows of a particular class. Take this into account when you
create new classes and assign tasks or workflows to the classes.
You can set this classification via:
SPRO
=> IMG
=> Basis Components
=> Business Management
=> SAP Business Workflow
=> Basic Settings
=> Maintain Task Classes.
Once the classification has been added as above you can then add this to
your task. Goto PFTS => Enter task ID => Change Mode => Menu: Addition
data => Classification.

[2] Substitute Profile
You can define one or more substitutes for working with the Business
Workplace. The authorizations of a substitute are determined by the
substitute profile which you assign to him/her when you set up the
substitution. A substitute profile comprises specific task classes.
Task classes describe individual tasks or standard tasks. This
assignment is made in the task definition. A user you have specified
can then log on as your substitute. "Your" work items are displayed to
the substitute in their Business Workplace with the restrictions
resulting from their substitute profile.
You can set the substitution profile via:
SPRO
=> IMG
=> Basis Components
=> Business Management
=> SAP Business Workflow
=> Basic Settings
=> Substitute Profile
=> Define Substitute Profile

Srinivas.Hi,
you can check few things prior proceeding:
Does your connector test after adding your backend system in portal works fine?
Did you define a system alias?
Make sure your SSO is working,
Also check your Jco detination webdynpro tab.

from the following snippet it is evident there is some problem in referencing com.sapportals.runtime.config component. Just check with the portal admin if it is correctly installed.

UWL Zip Configuration Upload "Unable to read file"
Hi Folks,
System Info:
NW AS 7.02 JAVA Stack 702 Level 16
Background:
We're using the UWL for our Workflow based Approval Process in SAP FI-TV (Travel Management). For this we've been using the standard UWL configuration File com.sap.pct.erp.mss.tra (v.14 for WDA-Launchers) which is a zip containing the xml file and several property-files (for outsourced nationalized constants, as far as I understood). The Default action of most of the tasks is the opening of a WDA-Launcher which internally generates an ADS-based document containing facts about the trip which is then shown within that launched window/frame, i.e. a PDF.
Problem / Analysis:
We were recently contacted by angry endusers who complained about the fact that the window that is launched is not resizable and has no scrollbar which makes reading the form extremely tedious; and indeed, these properties are not set in the standard file. Assuming that Actions cannot be overridden/redefined like Views/Tasks with "high priority" etc. (is this the case? At least I haven't found a way) I have downloaded the standard zip archive, extracted the xml file, changed the window properties (added resizable=yes,scrollbars=yes), packed it back into a zip and uploaded, i.e. overwrote the original file. It then says the file has successfully been overwritten, after clearing the cache I can also see a new timestamp for the configuration, however the configuration has not really been updated, it's still the old one. Let me elaborate with some screenshots:
Untouched original File:
Changing the XML file:
Reuploading the File allegedly succeeds with a happy message with a green information icon and there's a new timestamp after clearing the cache. However, my changes are not there:
When I delete the original zip-file before uploading my changed one, I receive an error. I assume this error also silently occurs when I try to overwrite the existing standard file, but the system is a dirty little liar reporting a success.
I believe this is the exact same problem the OP of the following thread has/had Error While uploading the Config ZIP back but it seems it has never been resolved. I can't find anything usable on SapXSearch either.
Now, when I extract only the XML file from the archive and upload only that without all the property-files, then it works. However in that case, the UI looks terrible of course, because all the constants for labeling are missing, so that's not a feasible solution either.
I fail to understand what the problem is. Does the portal need some kind of special archive-type? Some kind of special compression level or anything? I tried zipping the new zip-file with winzip and 7zip. Neither works and I don't get what's the source of the problem.
Does anyone have an idea? Honor, glory and ponits shall be yours, if you do :-|
Cheers, Lukas
Message was edited by: Lukas WeigeltI am not sure what is causing the original problem, but I would image it has nothing to with the ZIP-format. When I upload UWL configuration files, I almost never even archive them - just upload the XML file as it is.
Also, I never touch the original/standard files. I just upload my own file with high priority (and the file includes only the things that I want to change/replace (or the new stuff)).
Also, could you do the needed change at the task level? Something like this:
<ItemType name="uwl.task.webflow.TS90000001.SAP_ECC_HumanResources" connector="WebFlowConnector" defaultView="DefaultView" defaultAction="launchWebDynPro" executionMode="pessimistic">
<ItemTypeCriteria systemId="SAP_ECC_HumanResources" externalType="TS90000001" connector="WebFlowConnector"/>
<Actions>
<Action name="launchWebDynPro" groupAction="" handler="SAPWebDynproABAPLauncher" referenceBundle="startWD" returnToDetailViewAllowed="yes" launchInNewWindow="yes" launchNewWindowFeatures="resizable=yes,scrollbars=yes,status=yes,toolbar=no,menubar=no,location=no,directories=no">
<Properties>
<Property name="WebDynproApplication" value="zleavereq_approve"/>
<Property name="WebDynproNamespace" value="sap"/>
<Property name="WebDynproConfiguration" value="ZLEAVEREQ_APPROVE"/>
<Property name="request_id" value="${item.Request_ID}"/>
<Property name="fpm_hide_close" value="X"/>
</Properties>
</Actions>
</ItemType>

Tasks not opening in UWL through LR script
Hi,
I am trying to script a scenario in SAP NW Portal. The scripted scenario looks like:
1) VUser.init() section: A user logs in to the portal.
2) VUser.run() section: The User performs few steps in the portal (UWL - WD Java).
3) VUser.end() section: The user logs out.
The intention is to achieve the following scenario during its run time:
A user logs in, then perform actions defined in VUser.action() section in iterations and at last of the load test, the user logs out.
Issue: The first iteration is always happening successfully but the second iteration always fails.
Please help me in resolving the issue.
Thanks & regards,
Ankit
PS:
If I put all the transaction in VUser.action(), all the iterations pass.HI Arvind
Try a piece of code to get all the tasks in your task list.
QueryResult result = itemManager.getItemsForItemType(uwlContext,ItemType.UWL_ITEM_TASK, null, null);
SO in result, you'll get all the task available.
Thanks
Puneet
