    Dear experts.
    I am facing the following issue.
    In the MSS for the Workset: Work Overview ,  for UWL the system not show the tab(Taks, Alerts, Notifications, Tracking), ie the system not show none tab, show a page in blank.
    My question is: What is the cause of this issue?

    use the standard role for UWL, ie check if you are using any modified XML for uwl
    This happens if you use custom XML and hide the tabs
    Enable the support information for UWL and check in UWL administration

  • SRM7.0 Workitem is not showing in Manager WorkOverview(UWL)

    Hi Experts,
                       Work items are not showing in Manager->Work Overview->Task though it is available in SAP inbox for SRM 7.0.
    Regarding UWL configuration i have done bellow things:
    1. Created a system connector with SAP_SRM Alias
    2. Registered it.
    But the workitem is not showing in the Manager WorkOverview task tab.
    One more thing, when i checked the system connection (SAP Web AS Connection) form System Landscape, i got error message saying...
    6. The Web AS ping service https://saprst00.freescale.net:1443/sap/bc/ping was not pinged successfully. If the ping service is not activated on the Web AS, you can try to call the ping service manually.
    7. An HTTP/S connection to https://saprst00.freescale.net:1443/webdynpro was not obtained successfully; this might be due to a closed port on the Firewall
    I think may be this is one of the reason why work item is not appearing in the manager tab.
    Please guide me how can i solve  above issues..
    Thanks & Regards,
    Sambaran Chakraborty

    Hi Masa,
                      I have checked the SAP inbox with transaction SWI5, and for the particular user(with admin right) there is a Task TS10008126 with work item id 6407635.
    Now when i checked in the transaction SWI1 with the above work item id it shows the below information..
    ID:  6407635
    Work item type: Dialog Step
    Language: English
    Work item text: Approve shopping cart of JUDY SYDIONGCO with value 1,000.00 USD
    Creation date: 11/30/2010
    Creation time: 13:12:52
    Task: TS10008126
    Task Text: Approval of shopping cart
    Status: READY
    Priority: 9 Lowest
    Work flow id: 6407627
    Agent: No Agent Available
    Workflow:  6407629
    Administrator:
    Creator:  FLOWITEM  0000064076290000000109000000
    So from those information how can i check for correct approval.? as the workitem is available for the approver sap inbox(SWI5)........ and there is no Webflow connector error.
    Masa as i said i am also getting connection test failure error.. so is thre any chance due to this work items are not showing ?
    Thanks,

  • UWL is not showing New and In Progress tasks

    Dear All,
    We are facing a strange concern where the UWL is displaying all the below work items.
    Tasks forwarded to someone
    Tasks for Resubmission
    Completed Tasks
    But not the New and In Progress tasks wherein the work items are already available in the user inbox.
    The system details are SRM 7 with EHP 3 and the Netweaver portal is 7.30 SP 09
    Please find the below screen shot for your reference.
    And I would also like to update you that the below has already been tested.
    1.) Check in SBWP - workflow inbox of the respective user wherein the work items are available already.
    2.) In the SWI5 transaction code, the work items are in Ready status
    3.) From Portal perspective, the webflow connector has been defined and it has got connected successfully.
    4.) In the Webflow xml file, we are able to see the above highlighted task id which has already been defined.
    With that, I am able to understand that if there is any action on the work item in SRM system, the same is getting replicated in UWL. Else it is not getting displayed in the UWL if there is no action been done on the work item.
    Could you please check and advise if anyone has any other suggestions on the above. Thanks in advance for your help.
    Best Regards,
    Bharathi

    Dear Bharathi
    I hope you are well and many thanks for using the SAP Discussion Forums .
    Ok now based upon your scenario and the points you have highlighted there are a few important points to be highlighted.
    Firstly we need to remember the concept through which the UWL Service functions and operates.
    Ok with the UWL the normal behaviour follows the notion of the UWL Interface taking "5 Minutes"
    for the tasks to actually load into the UWL upon intitial logon.The UWL works using two Pull operations. Firstly tasks are pulled from the backend into the UWL cache and they are pulled a second
    time from the cache into the UWL User Interface. Due to this architecture there is an inherent delay in the automatic refreshes of the UWL. There is no way, in the current architecture that the UWL can refresh instantaneously. This is upon inital load as the cache must be built first upon logon so there will always be a delay. Real time refresh in the latest versions, is only when you complete a task.
    Now with reference to your scenario you mentioned the following:
    Points of interest
    Tasks forwarded to someone
    Tasks for Resubmission
    Completed Tasks
    "But not the New and In Progress tasks wherein the work items are already available in the user inbox."
    Now from your analysis perspective you mentioned examining the following:
    Checked in SBWP - workflow inbox of the respective user wherein the work items are available already.
    In the SWI5 transaction code, the work items are in Ready status
    From Portal perspective, the webflow connector has been defined and it has got connected successfully.
    In the Webflow xml file, we are able to see the above highlighted task id which has already been defined.
    Ok what I would you to do here is review and carefully cross reference your current UWL Destination Service Configuration setup as the smallest discrepancy (if any) can cause unpredictable and unexpected behaviour.
    - SAP Note: 1133821 - UWL Destination Service configuration
    Check that after applying Note 1133821 the destination names and the UWL connector names exactly match, even considering case-sensitiveness. I mean if your portal system alias (=UWL connector name) is for example XYZCLNT100, then the rfc destination name should be exactly XYZCLNT100$WebFlowConnector. If that is not the case, please correct the rfc destination accordingly.
    After you have checked/prepared the RFC destination for the future use please re-register that connector in the UWL config UI (Portal->System Administration->System Configuration->Universal Worklist) with which you would like to use this RFC destination.
    Restart the UWL portal service as the followings: Portal -> System Administration -> Support -> Portal Runtime -> Application Console -> com.sap.netweaver.bc.uwl -> Show -> in thecom.sap.netweaver.bc.uwl.core.portal.UWLPortalService row press restart.
    Re-create the connector in the config UI again and register the connector.
    Clear the UWL cache
    Additionally kindly review the documentation below to ensure the optimal parameters are maintained for workitems being brought into the UWL.
    KBA number: 1577547 UWL Performance Tips and Considerations
    Also, you may want to take a look at our sizing guide that our colleagues colleagues in development support have written in relation to the UWL. You will find this if you go to: You can find the document under this path: www.service.sap.com/sizing > sizing guidelines ' SAP NetWeaver   > UWL Sizing guide
    These are details that you need in order for the performance to be optimal in the Universal Worklist.  Please check through the documentation to see if your parameters are set accordingly and also that you have followed the information in this document.
    http://wiki.scn.sap.com/wiki/display/BPX/The+list+of+items+shown+here+could+be+outdated.+Waiting+for+update
    SAP Note: 1886490 UWL does not show the most upto-date items after login
    Kindly update me as per your findings.
    I greatly appreciate your time and patience and I look forward to recieving your reply.

  • Due date is not showing up in UWL

    Hi ,
    Due date is not showing up in UWL. Back end is ECC not GP Just regular work flow.
    I can see in workflow object end date kind. But the field is blank. For due date any additional configuration needed.
    I really appreciate your help.
    Regards
    Mark

    Hi,
    As far as I remember correctly, the Due Date in UWL is the Requested End date in the workflow. So basically you need to open the workflow in backend in WF builder and look at the step. There is a tab for setting different deadlines and stuff. If you do the settings there (for example set the requested end in 3 days), I think that work item will display the due date based on that data.

  • SAP Portal UWL - User decision note not showing up...

    I have configured the UWL to force a rejection note. However, this is not working. i.e. Rejecting works successfully (without the note).
    UWL configuration is as below.
      <ItemType executionMode="default" defaultAction="viewDetail" defaultView="PurchaseOrdersView" connector="WebFlowConnector" name="uwl.task.webflow.decision.TS99900008">
          <ItemTypeCriteria connector="WebFlowConnector" externalType="TS99900008" />
          <Actions>
            <Action name="approved" groupAction="yes" handler="UserDecisionHandler" returnToDetailViewAllowed="yes" launchInNewWindow="no">
              <Properties>
                <Property name="UserDecisionNote" value="true" />
                <Property name="decisionKey" value="0001" />
                <Property name="UserDecisionTitle" value="Enter a Rejection Reason" />
              </Properties>
              <Descriptions default="Approved" />
            </Action>
            <Action name="rejected" groupAction="yes" handler="UserDecisionHandler" returnToDetailViewAllowed="yes" launchInNewWindow="no">
              <Properties>

              </Properties>
              <Descriptions default="Rejected" />
            </Action>
          </Actions>
        </ItemType>
    The UWL support information indicates that the correct view and itemtype (and configuration) is being used. However, one concern is that the "Supported actions for this item" does not show the - approved, rejected - actions from the above custom UWL XML.
    Any pointers would be greatly appreciated. We are on version 7.0.

    Rafi Shaik

    it wont be shown in outbox of SBWP
    you need to check via SWIA or rptarqdbview or SWI5 for the user
    these are java based tasks so will be done in UWL. you can see only the tasks but after approval they are disappeared.
    The outbox shows the last 30 days by default. This default cannot be
    changed. This 30 days selection period is always set when you enter
    the outbox. However, the user can change the selection period by
    clicking the button 'Change selection period' on top of the grid
    control but this as you know will be reset once you log out.
    This is how the mapping from the
    backend workplace folders to the UWL tabs should work:
    UWL tab                        Backend folder
    Notifications                  Deadline Messages
    Tasks-> Completed Tasks        Outbox -> Workitems executed by me
    Tracking -> My Requests        Outbox -> Started Workflows
    Tracking -> Forwarded          Outbox -> Forwarded workitems

    UWL connection is fine as  workflow is getting trigered and i can see work item in manager's inbox. I have created a  dedicated template system for UWL with Web AS as ECC host:port number and Web AS path as /sap/bc/bsp/sap.
    And maintained other connector and ITS properties and all connection test successully passed.
    As we have only one sever so while creating system using load balacing template, was not able to identify message server name which is to maintained in case load balancing system.
    Please help me finding out where can be the issue.

    When registering the system in UWL, specify a WebDynpro Launch System. That should resolve the issue.
    WebDynpro Launch System -- create a system of type WAS and mention the WAS host name and WAS path.

  • Universal Worklist UWL not working in NW04s SPS9 after upgrade from NW04

    Hello all,
    this is just a hint in case anyone has the same problem with the UWL.
    It happened to me in 2 cases, that in a Portal 7 SPS9 the UWL only showed a blank page after upgrade from NW04. In NW04 the UWL worked.
    The reason for it was something like a corrupt deployment (but there were no according error messages in any log files). The SAP Support told me to redeploy the UWLJWF*.sca according to note 895523, that worked.
    You can check whether the deployment is the reason of a non-working UWL setting the property "Launch Web Dynpro UI" to 'no'. Then the old HTMLB sources (that should work) are used (But it is not recommended to use the old sources anymore)
    Kind regards
    Andreas

    .. just a hint ..

  • Leave Request SENT but does not show in Worklist (duplicate PTREQ_ACTOR)

    I have a wierd issue in our ESS Leave System.  We are on ECC 6.0 with EP 7.0.  We are using the iView for leave approval and not workflow/UWL.
    The leave system is working great for all users except for one.  The situation is there is one employee in the approvers team that has leave requests that are sent to the approver but they do not show in the approvers worklist.  The requests are visible from the team calendar and the approver can approve them that way.  The approver has other employees in the same team that can send leave requests to the approver and they will show on the worklist with no problems.  We have checked all of the relationships and employee data and all looks OK.
    I have identified that the approver with this issue has 2 records in the PTREQ_ACTOR table.  The requests that are not showing are linked to one ACTOR_ID and the ones that are showing correctly are linked to the other ACTOR_ID.
    1) What caused the employee to have 2 ACTOR_ID records in PTREQ_ACTOR?
    2) How do we cleanup/resolve this issue from happening in the future?

    duplicate can cause  a issue in the system!
    the leave requests should be approved in some timeline and then we can
    delete the table entries which are not used anymore, then The entries which are not used should be deleted, you can write
    a custom program to delete the entries in the system.
    ie
    What we could suggest in your case is to delete one of the
    Actor Ids (the old one or the one which is less used) of the
    manager in question.
    Please identify how many entries are there in the system
    first of all.
    read and apply  the note 1316777.
    You can approve and post via the trans code in PTARQ.

  • The approver does not show in the approval preview after saving sh. cart

    Hi ,
    I would appreciate if anyone can reply me for fixing the problem.
    Problem: The approver does not show in the approval preview after the shopping cart is saved, however before saving the shopping cart it shows the approver in the approval preview. We are using two workflows: WS10000060 – Auto approval and WS10000276- 1 level spending limit approval.
    Details of the problem:
    The following steps specify the problem in detail , it is applicable for both the workflows “WS10000060 – Auto approval and WS10000276- 1 level spending limit approval.”
    1.     Shopping created
    2.     The approval preview shows the approver ( please see #1 in the attached document) before saving the shopping cart.
    3.     Shopping cart is saved.
    4.     After saving , Check status transaction shows the shopping cart in status “awaiting approval”
    5.     The section approval shows “ No workflow started , application error occurred”
    6.     T.Code SWI1 shows the workitem created for the shopping cart but in error.
    7.     The work item container does not show any agents
    I would appreciate it anyone can reply as to how to fix it ASAP.
    Best Regards
    Pawan

    Hi Disha,
    I have synchronised through SWU_OBUF several times since yesterday , but still at the same place.
    In the workflow customising - The only red entry which I have is for check entries from HR control tables under Mainiatin definition env. and Mainiatin guded procedure for gateway under guided procedure (new in SRM 5.0) .The verification workflow works fine . Also I think these entries will not impact the workflow functionalhese were red even in my earlier system .
    SLG1 shows all green entries and there are no entries in RZ20.
    I have specified task TS10008126 as general task as I want anyone who is identified by SLAapprover should be able to process the workitem and as per documentation I can specify this task as standard task.
    What should I do.. , anything am I missing .
    Thanks and Best Regards

  • SOFM Attachment in UWL not dispalyed

    Hi,
    I'm not sure if this is the correct forum, but here is our scenario:
    We developed a WDA process to kick off a workflow with an attachment.  It goes to UWL as a task.  The task has been configured to kick off another WDA.
    Everything works fine, but I cannot see the attachment at all (no link to the attachment) in UWL.  In R/3 business workplace, I can view the attachment perfectly fine.
    I forwarded the task to another user that has SAP_ALL and SAP_NEW, then I can see the attachment in UWL.
    I went to SU53 with the user that is having issues with the attachment in UWL, but I cannot see any errors.
    Can anyone help me figure out what the correct authorization object the user needs?
    Thanks and regards,
    Duke

    Hi Rick,
    The authorization issue was for the approving agent.  SU53 did not show any errors.
    Thanks again for your help!
    Best Regards,
    Duke

  • ITunes does not show up on apple tv 1st gen.

    i have a 1st gen apple tv with the 160 gig HD. recently, it will not show the itunes site. Under teh movies tab there are my movies and trailers and that's it. Does anyone know how to get the itunes store back on apple tv?

    Known issue currently, you'll need to wait for the fix.

  • My downloaded text sounds do not show up under the sounds tab in settings after installing 8.1.1. can someone help me please?

    i downloaded a couple text tones and since installing 8.1.1, they will not show up under the sounds tab. in fact, they do not show up in my recent purchases on itunes, but when i go to buy them again, it says that i have already bought this tone. I just want to use the tones i paid for as the tones on my phone. not asking much.... thanks for the help. i hope someone can help me get the tones working. thank you.

    This was happening to me too but only for some of my songs. I have a mac so I dunno about PCs, but for most of my ringtones I had to create an ACC version in itunes to make them short enough then turn that into a m4r and those all worked fine. But if the song was already short enough and I didn't create an ACC version and just turned the original into a m4r, then it wouldn't appear in my itunes.
    so if you're on a mac:
    1. go to get info, options, pick when you want the song to start and end.
         Has to be pretty short to work, 30 second or less is good
         if it's already short enough that's fine
    2. right click and click 'create ACC version'
         a copy with the length you put in will appear, drag that into a folder or whatever and just type in m4r where m4a would be
         still make an ACC version even if it's the right length
    Hopefully this helps someone else.
